The manager, Sam, meeting us and willingness to assist us with other activities. Perfect for a couple. The view from the unit definately a Waterview of Airlie beach and out to islands. The location was perfect for walking, the apartments are set on the side of a hill and there are access steps leading to the main street intersection. With direct access to the main street of Airlie Beach everything we needed was accessible. The unit was very clean, well stocked with toiletries etc. The kitchen plenty of cutlery and cooking requirements.

There wasnt anything we didnt like about Waterview. I would recommend to any friends to stay here and should we holiday in Airlie this will be where we stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, loved sitting on the balcony in the evening and feeling like we were part of the Airlie nightlife with views of the town, Ferris wheel and boat lights on the ocean. Fantastically central, able to walk to groceries, restaurants and all the Great Barrier Reef Festival activities. Being a small complex, it was quiet, and our apartment had its own individual entry.

Unfortunately smoking is allowed on balconies and the people staying in the next door apartment were heavy smokers which impacted our enjoyment of the balcony and views. It a slight uphill climb back to the apartment which might be more challenging in the humid summer months. There is no complex pool which didn’t worry us in winter but can go downhill to the public lagoons to swim

Perfect location, you access the town facilities from a 2min -10min walk, and it's only 2 min to the Airlie Central bus stop. The manager, Steve, was super friendsly and made us feel very welcome. The only thing missing from the property is its own pool, although my visit in August didn't warrant that requirement, and the public pool can be accessed by a 5min walk. There are reasonable facilities in the room to make some easy meals, wifi was reliable and tv/lounge was great. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was cosy but adequate. The property has some great views of the water and town, and it's only a short stroll to watch a glorious sunset.

There's a bit of noise pollution at night coming from the nearby nightclubs and bars, but these seemed to die down around 1030pm.

Lovely friendly welcome by check in staff. Nothing was too much trouble.Superb sea view location in Airlie beach. Spacious, clean and modern room and a well equipped kitchen with all you needed. Kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, clothes hanging rack on balcony. Stunning balcony view. Studio is a fantastic location 2 mins walk to the beach front.

The studio was superb. Everything was fantastic. But lower chairs you can relax in and enjoy the views or sun loungers would be preferable on the balcony rather than a high table and chairs.

A great place and perfectly located, the A/C was on when we arrived making the unit nice and cool and welcoming Gabrielle was excellent and very pleasant to deal with, she is an asset to Waterview . We didn't rent a car (by choice) and to our surprise the unit was so close to everything . We'd come back to Airlie and stay here in the future

The only issue was the curtain runner , which made opening and closing the curtain difficult, I feared if we pulled to hard the curtain would fall off.

Clean, modern and super central. Perfect place for a couple. Amazing view from the balcony. Brilliant facilities, all you could need was provided. Comfy bed - slept superb! Appreciated the washing facilities as we were travelling. Staff were friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Couldn’t recommend enough if you are visiting Airlie.

The location is really good. Very close to the lagoon and the center but not too noisy. A pub on the other side of the road plays music every night, but it's fine as I shut all the windows. Very spacious room and has enough facilities. Nice kitchen with everything needed except for oil. TV has Netflix.

The bed/sofa bed is too soft for us. The photos on Booking are kind of misleading since not all the rooms have that perfect sea view without obstruction and we didn't know if we could get the better room when we paid. There are 2 buildings and we got a room in the back building. We could see part of the sea and the whole town. Outside of office hours (it was like 9am-4pm) we could not use the washing machine and dryer, but most of the day trips ended at 6pm.

The view was lovely. The property sits right on the Airlie Beach Lookout. There are stairs to get down to the main street but they are gradual so not an issue for us. The room was very clean and suited us completely. There is a kitchenette and the bathroom had a walk in shower, no bath which is what we like. You can walk to everything.

The location is perfect. Many restaurants within a very short walk. The apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and well appointed.

A note if you hope to use the laundry facilities: they are only open 9am-4pm. If you are going on excursions, it is impossible to utilize the laundry facilities.

Great apartment & location as a home base to explore the Whitsundays and Airlie Beach. Sam made our stay exceptional, she booked tours for us and even organized last minute alternatives as one of our tours got cancelled. We definitely stay here again when we come back to Airlie Beach.
