Well located at the northern end of Coolum beach, superclean, quiet with all that you need to be comfortable and nothing extra. I really wish there were more great value secure and simple places like this. I stayed in an ensuite room with a little north facing verandah whilst on a 2 day walk from the airport to Noosa. Downstairs was a large kitchen and sitting area and there’s even a pool . The room was on the small side but certainly big enough with mini fridge hanging space tea and coffee making and a queen bed. The lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful. As a solo female traveller I appreciated the secure entry.

The room was basic and perfect,clean,safe, sun filled, comfortable, cozy . The general house rules made it perfect from go. The bed was super comfortable. Loved the split system for the cold moments. The balcony was very enjoyable and my wetsuit dried well . I liked when i got a park on the grounds. The bins downstairs helped rid excess garbage. The cleanliness was easily seen. My room smelled clean and neutral. All the people inside the place were kind and friendly and happy.

What didnt i like? Mabye the shower could have been stronger but the perfect water temperature made up for that. I thought constantly whilst in room - why is there no powerpoint beside the bed - i brought an extension cord but the cord dangled across the room and still couldnt reach the bed comfortably . Phone reception was very slow but there was wi fi and password on the wall to suggest. The Positives Outweighed these ive answered.

great location, walking distance to beach and cafes. I like the facilities in the room like the bench to put things on, and the wardrobe and side table, and hooks to hang up things.

the shared bathroom is a bit dismal. The shower cubicle has nowhere to put your things as everything gets wet. To get in it you need to shut the main door which prevents anyone else getting in to use the toilets. It is a weird clumsy set up and badly needs renovating. No spare toilet paper anywhere to be seen, so it ran out at night, luckily I had my own.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at CB from the moment I entered I was greeted by the lovely Bindi (I hope I spelt correctly) and could leave my bags in their locked reception! Check in was a breeze and bindi went above and beyond as we tried to book an extra night but they were full and she booked us in as soon as there was a cancellation. The room itself was incredible with a lovely firm and comfy mattress, there was a fridge, tv, towels closet space, bedside lockers and a chair, a kettle with coffee, tea and yummy little biscuits , and table if you needed to get some work done. Excellent facilities in the kitchen with everything you need to make yourself some food and a fun dining area to eat in with comfy chairs if you wanted to just hang out! The toilets and showers were very clean! Having worked in hospitality in the past this place I can gladly say exceeds expectations. They have signs up in hostel to ensure everyone gets a great night sleep and only that we found a van for our travel journey we would have stayed longer! Highly recommend!

I loved everything about my stay!

Tidy setup in lovely location. Plenty of guest seating spaces on-site to enjoy the company of others, relax or read in the sunshine. Enjoy meals cooked in the generously sized and well set up kitchen with the large tables right beside. Venue is a short walk to the excellent dining and entertainment on offer at Coolum Hotel and a variety of shops further including food outlets, chemist, convenience store, boutiques and local artist outlet. Beach access was across from the shops as a caravan park and dune protection block access near to the accommodation. Still close enough to walk and the artwork installations along the path offer intrigue that changes in view with the daylight available. Very lovely area to stroll in.

Lots of signs regarding behaviour rules were tolerable though made me feel like I was at a school camp. Red ink and lots of ‘do not do this’ and ‘no that’ added reading time to my stay. Giggle worthy in a way and the messages probably ensure all runs smoothly on site while suggesting some guests have played up prior. The signs were tolerable as was the power issue I and my neighbour next door experienced. Power tripped out readily in the room. Be sure to check your phone is charging. I found adding one device per power board was okay. 2 was 1 too many. On the upside, the room had 2 power boards and both featured trip reset buttons on the ends. Stay alert and all’s well.

We're very accommodating for late check in due to flight times. The room had an ensuite when we were fully expecting to have only shared bathroom. Was very impressed with water pressure for shower, very nice after a long day of walking around.

If I was to nit pick. The rails for the bathroom door could use some WD40.

Booked a night at this place as part of a weekend getaway so we could climb Mount Coolum in the morning and it worked out perfectly. The rooms were adequate for the price, the place reminded me of barebones campus dorms or backpacker hostels but didn't actually see anyone else while there. Excellent price for the location, late check-in worked fine with no hassles. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Had a fan but no aircon (budget) but that was adequate for April. I was happy with this place and I could see myself staying here again for a similar trip, very cost effective way to start your day on the Sunshine Coast.

I felt like the way the bathrooms/showers were set up was a little odd, you could lock the outer door to the bathroom (which contained a shower and two toilet stalls) and you kind of had to if you were to use the shower. There were no problems though.

Good location - walking distance to restaurants. Arrived around 5pm so staff weren't there but they texted me instructions for getting my room key out of the lockbox. Cool to see Foxtel still has its place in the world

Bed was quite hard and was getting poked in the ribs by the springs when I woke up. Very limited parking so my car was parked on the street, however it was within eyesight from my balcony on the second floor. Person in the room across from me woke me up at 2am playing some music. No bedside lamp or power points near the bed

Room was basic but all the comforts were there. Very fair for the price! Super clean and extremely well located, just a few minutes walk to the shops and a little further to main town area with everything you could need. Calm and quiet too, not too much traffic noise or any noise from other guests. Super friendly owner always said hello with a big smile. Really just a great place for what you pay in that area!

Great location (especially close to Coolum Beach, several shops etc.) and great starting point for trips to Noosa, Eumundi market etc. Staff was super friendly and helpful, even moved us to another, better room for free because there was an issue with the fan in our original room. Overall, clean common areas with good, clean kitchen.

You have to know what you are getting into. The whole building itself is quite old and we felt a bit “imprisoned” in our original room. However, everything is also shown on the pictures when booking and looks exactly as shown.
