The lovely house enjoys a highly desirable position right by the sea, providing clear ocean views when the windows are opened, which contributes to a charming atmosphere. The presence of wallabies in the morning and evening is a delightful feature. Unfortunately, due to the cloudy conditions, the sunrise and southern light were not visible.

The process of checking in at the pub and joining the queue with others ordering food and drinks appears somewhat unclear and potentially time-consuming. While the staff are friendly, they do not seem to possess extensive knowledge about the property. Although there is a fireplace in the living area, not all bedrooms are equipped with a heater. Most restaurants/outlets are closed between 6 to 7 pm.

The location and view are excellent, with very good soundproof windows. We had a stormy night, but you couldn't hear a thing once the windows were shut. It was very relaxing to watch the water, the turbo chooks, and the birds from the bay window.

There’s no extraction fan in the bathroom (though you can leave the window open), but it’s not ideal to have moisture lingering long-term. A proper washing sink for dishes would also be a nice addition, as the bathroom sink has a flat bottom and isn’t very practical for that purpose. You need to pay an extra $40 to have two beds (understandable of that), but the beds were extremely soft and uncomfortable. I wonder if they’re actually single beds that are just pulled apart upon request.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here due to a number of factors. Firstly the room we had was new, basic in a number of ways but had everything you needed. However, what we loved was the balcony looking out to sea. Although it was set back from the edge, the large balcony allowed us to sit out at night and enjoy the quiet, the amazing array of stars and the feeling of being along way from home. As well, the place was close to the pub, far enough away to be quiet but within easy walking distance to enjoy the amazing food on its menu. The place also was centred well for exploring the wonderful island.

Nothing.

The mini cabins were cute, very clean, looked pretty new and had a fabulous view. They contained everything that we needed. The TV was huge and very good. Bathroom good. We had a very nice meal at the Pub.

The wall of glass in the cabin looking out to the coast was meant to be double glazed but the outer layer was smashed so only one layer there. There was a lot of broken glass over the floor of the balcony and yellow security tape all around the broken glass wall. The bathroom basin had quite a few cracks in it. When we arrived, the mini cabin was boiling hot. Once the aircon got going it was okay.

It was an easy drive from the ferry. The location seemed lovely but it wasn't until i opened the door that I gasped in absolute joy. The view and the space itself were both unbelievable. I kept saying to my daughter, 'wow, this is really special, how lucky are we'. Everything looked beautiful. We had dinner at the Bruny Hotel. The food was amazing and the staff were also just fantastic. I had the garlic and chilli seafood linguine and I could not believe how fresh and delicious it was. The cocktails were lovely. The children's food was also delicious, Fabulous views. Quiet at the accomodation. Good water pressure. I loved the gesture of having two local apple ciders in the fridge for us. So comfortable.

Nowhere for breakfast. We drove 20 minutes over the the closest cafe at Adventure Bay and that was lovely but we could have taken some supplies if we had known that there was nothing nearby. The room has a kettle / toaster and microwave / fridge.

We had such a great time staying there! Waking up to a wallaby right outside our door was such a cool surprise. Even though it was a chilly night, we stayed toasty warm thanks to the heater, pellet fire, and heated blanket. The converted church house vibe was right up our alley, especially with that cozy living room setup. Bedrooms are comfy. Plus, the kitchen had everything we needed and was easy to navigate.

It's not a big deal but it's best to get there before sunset. We arrived late, and it was pitch dark around the house, making it a bit tricky to park and avoid wallaby droppings in the complete darkness. It would have been great if there were some pathway lights to help out.

The view was sensational. Very relaxing. A little bit of privacy between the decks of the neighbouring apartments too so that was nice. They provided two complementary ciders which was a welcome surprise. Very close to the pub for dinner. Excellent location. Very new furnishings.

I am always happy to wash my own dishes but the only facilities to do so was the bathroom sink which I don't find very hygienic. A collapsible, portable camp sink to work around this would be a cheap and easy fix.

We stayed at the Kestral Chalet. Had everything we needed. amazing views up on a hill overlooking the ocean. lovely and peaceful spot and in the evening sat on the balcony and spotted wallaby's, paddymelons, rabbits, and ringtail possums. we stayed in and cooked a meal. Oysters at Shucked, Bread from the Fridge, Drinks at the Hotel, Triuganni lookout.

May be noisy and not so private if the larger chalet connected next door was rented out.

We loved our stay at the Sand Piper Studio! Bruny is so peaceful and beautiful and this studio allowed us to enjoy this peace and beauty. The view from the room was gorgeous and we were treated to some special sunsets. We were also surrounded by some very cute furry friends during sunrise and sunset. What a treat! The bed was very comfy and the heating kept us warm during the cold nights. Thank you for having us!

The unit was really comfortable, well designed and outfitted, with the option to sit out in the deck or on the day bed. Bed was comfortable. View was hard to beat! Windows that opened for natural ventilation always appreciated. The units are a terrific addition to the Bruny Island accommodation scene AND so close to the hotel and great restaurant. The seafood platter is still a winner.

No bottle opener supplied, although we worked around it to open the tasty complimentary Bruny Island Cider. Extra towels, as most places offer, would have been a nice touch. The website could be more user friendly, although personal phone follow up was appreciated.
