I recently stayed at the Kermandie Hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay in the Huon Valley. The food at the hotel is generally quite nice — well-prepared and enjoyable. However, the Steak Night was a bit of a letdown, as the steak was as tough as they come. That said, the rest of the menu was solid and satisfying. The staff deserve a special mention — they were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay, which made a big difference. As for the continental breakfast, it’s basic and does the job — nothing fancy, but it’s included and appreciated. All in all, it’s a charming spot with great service, decent food (apart from Steak Night), and a beautiful setting. I'd stay again, just maybe choose a different night for dinner.

I stayed in a single room, and honestly, it was disappointing. The room was very small and felt cramped, with barely enough space to move around.

Parking was easy at the hotel. Check in was smooth and we were shown to our room with friendly professionalism. Room was quiet, comfy and was warm with a heater and double glazing, however you could also open the window if you liked. All amenities were good and staff were on site if we needed anything. we had a nice view over a marina to hills in the background. Breakfast was nice with an adequate selection for all tastes. The staff member at breakfast was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would stay again without hesitation.

The meals we had at the attached restaurant were good, but not great.

Kermandi Hotel has everything you could want for an excellent trip away with the family. Being able to access three meals a day on the property with exceptional friendly and helpful staff was fantastic. We made use of the community sports Centre across the road. The facilities were excellent and run by wonderful community staff..

In our two bedroom number 13 self-contained apartment there were quite a few corner cobwebs around that I had to get rid of with kids scared of bugs. This wasn’t a big deal just information to pass on to you. The level of cleanliness within the apartment in general was excellent.

I stayed in one of the more modern lodges which was really lovely and then for the last two nights in Tasmania I stayed in one of the old-fashioned rooms in the hotel, overlooking the boat Harbour. I really loved this. Gave a great old world appeal and the guest lounge was just beautiful, with magnificent views overlooking the river and Harbour. Really loved the staff they were passionate about the area friendly and very Good at their job. thank you I had a wonderful holiday . There is lots to do in the local area.

Pleasant room, quite spacious with view of the port from the verandah. Breakfast was very good, served in the main building. Hotel Dining room was excellent especially the Seniors' Menu! Older people really don't want a huge dinner and the dishes on this menu were a great size.

Shower water splashed over the bath edge creating a puddle, wetting the floor mat. Not ideal. I would have preferred breakfast at a normal table with chairs, rather than a high table with stools or lounge chairs. I think other guests felt the same.

There was plenty of choice for the complimentary breakfast. Something for everyone including pastries, toast, cereal, fresh and poached fruit. The room was clean with plenty of room. The specials on the dinner menu were a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was close enough to all the places we wanted to visit. Lovely view of the boats on the river.

Just a small point, but I would have liked to have some hand cleaner/sanitiser in the bathroom, separate to the soap for showering.

The room we had was more than adequate for our one night stay, had a good kitchen so we could cook and room to spread out a bit. Beds were comfy and it was very quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was included and was lovely. If you wanted a drink or meal at the hotel the pub part is right next door.

No wifi was disappointing however quite remote location so not unexpected. Also disappointing that the washing machine had been removed from this studio unit, we would have appreciated the chance to catch up on laundry and there was definitely room for it.

Fabulous staff and food was glorious. Our dinner from the kids' meals to the adults was brilliant. Great location and facilities, but the staff are the real stars. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the property and area. Complimentary breakfast was brilliant in the Huon Lounge with the most beautiful views of the water. Accommodation was good and importantly warm, good WiFi and very comfy beds.

Look, it's minor, but our family unit was close to the road, and there was passing traffic during the night that we were aware of. But actual room facilities for 6 of us were great

Very well maintained charming heritage hotel. Welcoming ambiance by friendly and professional staff. In July, we warmed up our evenings at the bar near the fireplace. It is tastefully decorated, and serves delicious food. Roomy guests' room upstairs that has beautiful views. (With access to fridge, microwave, kettle, etc.) Guests of the hotel get % off at the gym/sauna/pool facility across the road.

The room was large and beautifully decorated. The hotel provided a large communal dining room/lounge room, allowing families to play board games etc. The facilities in the communal lounge dining also allowed you to provide your own provisions etc in the fridge and had facilities to make hot drinks.

The room we were in was located at the top of the stairwell and next to the communal lounge/dining room, so it was a little noisy. No facilities in room (i.e. fridge, coffee making facilities etc)
