Easy to find, accommodation was exactly as described. We had 2 cars, no problems with parking. On entry at ground level is dining, living and kitchen areas. And a bathroom with a walk in shower and toilet (did not know there was going to be a second bathroom, was stoked!) Upstairs had a second bathroom (bath with shower over it) and toilet. And 3 bedrooms. Whole place was clean. Great curtains which blocked out light well. Fully carpeted throughout. (tiles in kitchen and bathrooms) Loved dishwasher in kitchen. Laundry room for guests was fantastic. Coins only for using washers and dryers (no card operation) But they had fresh towels, tea/coffee/milk, bin bags, tissues, toilet paper in that room so guests could easily get these anytime. (laundry room open until 11pm everyday) Also, TV in living area and TV in main bedroom are both smart tv's, this was very handy. And never heard neighbouring rooms, nice and quiet. Great WIFI. Also there is an indoor pool for guests and a games room.

The skylight in the upstairs bathroom, alot of condensation caused constant dripping on the floor, so bathroom floor was always wet. Fridge in kitchen you had to be sure to push it hard to close it, maybe seals getting older? Property not really near to anything ( only little cafe in walking distance, IGA a 2 min car ride) But is a nice quiet area. Has some really steep hills to drive up to property too. But these are small issues. The place is fantastic.

Games room where we played table tennis and there were some couches. It was also handy for us to hang out in while we did a load of washing. There is a coin operated washing machine (you can get coins from reception during the day - I think $4 for one and $5 for another - can't remember which one was washing machine or dryer) That there were two bedrooms and a kitchenette area. Nice to provide towels (include dark ones for make-up) I liked that they had two couches in the living room and enough cutlery and plates for five people. There was also a car park (or maybe 2?) for each apartment so that was handy.

I am not always keen on the shower over the bath (hard to get in and out). The bedrooms were upstairs (which was okay for us) but I was a little worried at first that my son might use them during the night. (This is just to let people know - so if you need bedrooms on bottom floor) Bringing a child with me I wasn't totally keen on sliding doors to backyard (but I just brought screw-in things from online to keep it closed). But I imagine other people might appreciate being able to sit out there and have breakfast or dinner if the weather was nice.

Friendly staff, quiet and convenient location - just out of town, private, great views, wallabys, electric blankets, clean facillities, nice kitchen, bath, free parking - great overall and affordable accommodation. Would stay again !

Just update the website. Website says room service on request and cable tv - but no room service - have to get own towels and amenities in laundry - not too much of an issue, was easily accessible and plenty of things available there. Website says cable tv but none - dvds available on gaming room and unfortunately we were unable to obtain (unless before 5pm during reception hours) but we were out. Would stay again. Recpetion was great.

Central, quiet location. Short drive to Hobart CBD or you can walk. Cafe, IGA & Hill street grocer just down the road. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Love the games room and indoor heated pool especially on a rainy weekend. Had everything we need in our unit. Kitchen with all utensils and well laid out. Crisp, fresh linen and towels. Comfy beds and pillows. Spacious seating and dining area. Bonus the little veranda/seating area in-front of the unit. Unit was nice and clean, thank you. Parking available for free infront of unit. Will be back for our 5th time for sure!✨🤩

We were greeted at reception. Arriving 3 hrs early for checkin the receptionist went above and beyond to make sure the unit was ready as quickly as possible. We were in within a half hour. The room was a great size as was the bathroom & bedroom, which had ample storage space. Kitchen had all the goods you would except, but it did have any jams etc for morning toast as was provided in our last 3 places. Did not need the a/c on as the temp in Hobart at this time (end March 2025) was ideal. It is set high up the hillside of Hobart so you get great views when located in an apartment at the top. It is not far to Hobart harbour from here and costs about $11-$12 by Uber, according to the app. As we love to walk, we treated ourselves to a 6klm walk in the morning to the botanic gardens. Lovely old homes were on display on our walk. After the Botanic gardens we walked to the harbour area which was about a 30 minutes safe walk. At the end of the day we walked back to Bay View Villas completing a 15lkm walk for the day. Never did we feel a bit unsafe.

Perfect location for staying in Hobart. Just far enough out of the city to be peaceful. Great views to the harbour from our first floor apartment. Next time we will ask for second floor. Had everything we needed for our stay. Very peaceful. Few things needed repairing which we reported on our departure, also did not have access to the free Wi-Fi, apparently they had been having issues with it earlier in the week and had a technician fix it, obviously only did a temporary fix (we were not the only ones that complained). Great kitchen facilities for anyone wanting to self-cater, kitchen had everything. Very comfy king sized bed.

The location and villa were great for us. As a family of 6 (2 A and 4 K) it's hard to find something that will fit our needs. But with the 3 bedrooms (1 QB and 4x SB), it was a comfortable fit. A bathroom on the 1st floor aswell as the 2nd was also a great touch! The Villa was comfortable for our 3 night stay, with plenty of everything we needed. Being able to help ourselves to super, coffee, soap etc was very helpful! The wall located in the reception had alot of great pamphlets which also included discount vouchers for various activities/attractions located around Tasmania, this was great and well received!

An oven would be great in the kitchen. We pre purchased alot of frozen food (party pies/sausage rolls, frozen meals etc etc) that we were unable to cook because there was no oven. But admittedly that is my error by not checking the amenities thoroughly. The QB was quite stiff/hard. But that comes down to personal preference!

Our room was great size for 4 Adults, clean and well stocked. Very friendly and helpful staff. Games room is great with various table tennis, pool and other games. Heated pool was lovely to swim in with changing rooms beside. Laundry room is great, easy to use. Very quiet as up on the hill and away from town, mainly residents surrounding.

Our bedrooms and only bathroom were upstairs, so a bit hard for my folks to navigate, but we managed! On our last night smoke alarm started to beep from 4am which was both a relief it worked and a pain for our hearing!

The kids loved the indoor lap pool, plenty of towels and toilets right beside. Also a games room that had pingpong, chess and a bunch of kids toys, all easy to access from apartment. Good size modern bathroom, comfy beds. Staff was lovely and helpful, easy communication. Heaps of signs in the streets to find the location. Very centrally located to all the Hobart sites. Would totally go back, just would opt for the view next time.

The car park is really skinny at the end between the cliffs. If you don't get a room with a view, it's a room with a cliff face out both sides. Kitchen didn't have an oven, just stovetop and microwave - cooked frozen chips in a frypan, worked well enough.

Great location. Very friendly staff. We came in a little late but this was treated like no problem at all I was still greeted so warmly. The villa we stayed in had all the facilities we could want including a little dishwasher which was very handy! All facilities were clean. The laundry was very reasonably priced and both washing machine and dryer worked really well. We loved our stay! Would stay here again.
