Brilliant location on the heights over the town, looking out over the harbour. Huge window in one of the bedrooms to watch the harbour and the lights on Regatta Point all night. It’s basically a wall sized television. Everything is comfortable and very easy in the house. Every appliance you could want. So close to town- especially the fish and chippery. Really enjoyed it.

We spoke to the owner and the keys were left in the door. We received an upgrade to a bungalow. The bungalow had everything you could need for your stay.

The heater didn’t work then we worked out it needed new batteries in the remote. When we contacted the owner they brought over another heater which was great. So all fixed.

The cozy apartment was close to the centre of town and had some amazing views of the waterfront. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to recharge for the night.

The shower was small, so taller people may struggle to have a comfortable shower.

Great communication from the host. Excellent instructions and easy check in. We had a pet friendly room which was terrific. I loved the area and the view from the room was perfect for our needs. There was a dog friendly walk to a waterfall nearby that was just delightful. Would have loved to spend more time there

Great location we spent time looking for the southern lights but to cloudy when we were there Loved the cruise and it was so close to the harbour the boats coming and going was great

All was good maybe the shower was a bit cosey but that is ok

l loved the view of the sea and because there were only a couple of units, it all seemed very private. I liked the fact that it overlooked trees, so that if you very lucky, you could see birds. The inside of the studio was comfortable and fortunately, because the weather turned quite chilly, there was a really good heater. The furnishings were tasteful.

The one problem was that the owners didn’t explain that you just arrived and the studio was open, with the key left inside. The phone number given said not able to contact! gI had to knock on the door of the neighbours to find out what to do and going to the right apartment was guesswork. if I had made the wrong choice, it would have been awkward! I never met the owners at all, but I did enjoy my stay. The other problem is that the sliding door to get in could lock itself, leaving the occupant stranded outside.

Perfect location overlooking Strahan, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist centre. The cabin was like brand new, and well presented. The bathroom was amazing with double shower and even underfloor heating! We were very pleasantly surprised about the whole cabin. Would highly recommend it to anyone not wanting to stay amongst the other tourists and overcrowding of B+B's in town, but not too far away from restaurants etc. This would be our first choice if ever returning to Strahan. Thankyou!

Property very clean, good facilities mini kitchen with modern and brand new bathroom - the heated floor was awesome. Aircon and electric blanket for the cold nights in July . Close to town and quiet location.

Michelle, the host was extremely helpful. we had forgotten our wallet in the studio and she herself was out of station. And still she managed to get us our wallet back in another city altogether!! Not by post, but by actually spending time and energy to reach out to her local community and finding someone who was traveling to the other city the same day.

Cute little studio in an ideal location; a quiet area with easy access to harbour and town amenities. Super comfortable bed and sofa. Huon studio was easy to keep warm in winter with the heater provided. Lovely view.
