We actually moved from Kitty’s cottage to another 2 bedroom big4 unit that was flat without stairs. My friend could not do the stairs. Kitty’s cottage is lovely with everything you need so long as you are happy to walk up and down the stairs to your bedrooms. The bathroom is downstairs as well so if you need to get up during the night probably not the best place to stay. We were lucky Big4 had another empty one story unit we were able to move into.

It was a one bedroom cottage giving us a great deal of privacy and the property was situated near where we needed to be for a Gordon River Cruise.

The property was managed by a group which controlled several properties. As the office was situated across the road from our cottage a lot of new arrivals and people departing parked on the road outside where we were and we were often disturbed by people slamming car boots and car doors being closed either early in the morning or late at night. Also the lighting in the cottage was not strong in the living area - older people need good lighting for craft or reading.

I have trouble finding the location as Google Map kept sending us to another place around the corner, end up I have to knock on the door and ask. However, that's no fault to the property. The reception is friendly - giving us a bit of info about the place and where to find meals. The cottage was perfectly clean, with a kitchen and all the kitchenware, pots and utensil. There's even extra hands, body & hair shampoo in the bathroom. The heater is more than enough to keep the whole cottage warm. It's a tiny bit "out of town" but it quiet, though by the road side, not complaining here. Note that the Reception is across the road at the BIG 4 Holiday Park :)

nice size apartment with little kitchen ,spa corner bath which my sister loved! Upstairs room was spacious and warm ,big wardrobe, and a couple of chairs.Downstairs 2 single beds my sister did say her bed was a little hard for her. Lounge, table n chairs and TV down stairs perfect for a little family getaway Would recommend to family n friends 😊

The cottage was very clean, modern and well appointed. It was great to have a functioning kitchen and comfortable living room. Beds were upstairs and very comfortable. A pleasant level walk to the waterfront.

A bit of confusion about where to collect the keys, but easily resolved. Toilet had a constant leak. Parking was a bit tight.

Handy location, comfy bed and meet our expectations, value for money.

There was an older blonde lady who worked for the park, whom we found a tad rude to travellers. Made comments like "the locals would know when the Thirsty Camel closes." Of course, they would their locals, but it didn't need to be said in a rude tone to travellers!!

I had arranged for a late check in and received a message with the details of where to find the keys and lock box. When we arrived the reception was closing but the receptionist took the time to go to the lock box with me and explain exactly where the unit was. She also gave me extra linen. She was extremely friendly and helpful, also had a great sense of humour. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable, wonderful set up.

There was nothing to not like.

The location was great, but the noise was awful.

The noise. We were at the front and found the traffic stopping at Mollys Cafe opposite liked to leave their motor running and talk very loudly, as did our neighbours also staying at Kitty's. Side tables in the lounge would be great as would a corner lamp. The bed was too short for my 6ft tall husband.

Lovely clean little cottage, good sized rooms, and kitchen with essential cooking utilities.

Parking a little tight for large vehicles, but we managed. Shop across the road opens very early so be prepared for workers stopping for their morning coffee.

Location was good but we were there wrong time of the year. Host was great, there was a Cafe a walking minute away across the street had a fair amount of household goods and Cafe foods. The unit was self-contained you could cook your own food all utensils supplied, comfortable for 4 guests upstairs bedrooms were ok..

Shower and toilet too small but to be expected from this cabin type of accommodation
