The view and privacy was excellent.

Needs a dishwasher. I feel that this is needed to ensure kitchen cockery, utensils etc have been thoroughly washed. The oven trays were dirty and unwashed. Needs a king bed in the main bedroom there’s plenty of room for one. I prefer a toilet in the ensuite with a door. Shower head frustrating as was the tap controls. Spiral staircase looks great but is dangerous. I fell after what I thought was missing the bottom step but on the inner side of the staircase there is no step left to walk on. Left me badly bruised.

This was a return visit to the Wheelhouse for us. Opening the front door to floor to ceiling views of the calm water was just as incredible this time as last.

A couple of little details were looked over: the previous people’s half eaten carrots were in the fridge and two cakes of used soap were in the main shower. Not dealbreakers, but the smallest things can have an impact on your stay, especially when your expectations are so high based on a previous experience.

Breathtaking views both in the living room and upstair main bedroom. The facilities are excellent and got everything we need. The host Andrea is very helpful - always responding to queries very promptly.

If you are travelling as a large family or a group with more than one couple, you might find that the soundproofing is not great because the upstairs room is all open plan, and the downstairs bedroom has a sliding door that doesn’t fully close. If you are traveling as a small family this may not be a major issue.

Location, location , location nestled high on the Strahan cliff with spectacular harbour and sun set views. This place is a hidden gem amongst a quiet village. Sleeps 4 and it has a porta cot . Back grassed yard. Laundry and good cooking facilities . Great breezes .

Main bed spa needs attention as it's too noisy to have on . Fix it or remove it.

Unfortunately, on arrival the apartment was freezing cold. It took quite a while to heat up and we were in our coats for a while, maybe a portable heater for the colder months would help with this. The property has some stunning features but I definitely think a few touches here and there would make this stay even better! We found the master bedroom bed a little uncomfortable for our liking so maybe a nice topper would make it a bit more comfortable and it was rather wobbly. Also electric blinds upstairs. would be a great addition to the windows, although the sunrise was beautiful, we did get woken up really early by the light flooding into the room. Overall, such a unique property and only some small things that would make the stay even more amazing!

The view was absolutely magical, I could have stared at it for hours, comfy couch and seat to lounge in, great coffee machine topped it off. Great selection of pantry staples as well. And more than one tea towel which I loved! Super clean and well kept as well.

The only small thing that i noticed was there was a funny noise coming from the upstairs bar fridge.

The view was amazing, lovely sunset. Spacious accommodation. We were only there for one night, arriving late afternoon and leaving early morning. Plenty of towels and toiletries.

Feel it is starting to show wear and tear, wooden frames need re-staining, kitchen knife block handles are peeling and needed cleaning (grease and dust) oven could have been cleaner. Upstairs was dusty and there was sand on the furniture downstairs. We also had to message for the wifi password and we couldn't get the lounge TV to work (was asking for login - which I would have expected it to be logged in).

Incredible view! Comfortable couch. Kitchen facilities were fantastic, coffee machine and effective heating provided. The bath is a great touch!

Small things. The heater makes a clicking noise. The coffee machine needs some adjustment for a better pour. The spa bath didn't work, but could have easily been user error.

Unbelievable view from inside or outside the house!!! It was super nice to wake up in the bedroom which you can see a big blue ocean right in front of you. The host is nice and friendly, easy instructions to get the keys and there is designated parking space outside the house.

The facilitates (especially bathroom and kitchen) are a bit dated though they are well maintained and clean.

Amazing design thank you for building such a unique place, would love the plans It had everything we needed and more , amazing sunsets , our youngster loved the staircase and the house

That we didn’t stay there longer , maybe a little more detail for cleaner and some things where a bit dusty but apart from that we will definitely will be back
