Beautiful modern clean and brand new fancy rooms. Super comfortable bed large bed, awesome heated floor, comfortable chairs. Great shower. Great outlook and looks like it’ll be an awesome place to stay when the building works are completed.. The restaurant looks very nice, but we didn’t go there as we had a Gordon River cruise booked.

Not what was promised in the description. The facilities were unfinished. The spa and fire weren’t connected, it was a bit of a worksite out the back where the spa was. The rooms weren’t very private if you had the curtains open, I guess they will fix this when the property is finished. The breakfast option was an added expense. I had thought we were upgraded, but because the facilities weren’t finished I don’t feel like we were😕 They didn’t let us know that we wouldn’t have the facilities that were shared in our booking before we stayed there, I went and asked for the remote control for the gas fire and was told it hadn’t been connected yet 🤷🏼‍♀️

Great location and quite a unique type of place to stay. Lovely view from outside the room. Onsite restaurant was good (but skip the breakfast hamper). Very close to the Hogarth Falls walking track (can highly recommend) and only a minute down the road from the Gordon River Cruises terminal. Despite being in a room not yet renovated it was well furnished (other than the double bed). Friendly staff. Have to do the Hogarth Falls and Gordon River Cruise while here.

Double/king bed needs to be replaced but they are in the process of completely renovating all rooms and believe the room we stayed in is only weeks away from being done (we obviously stayed in a room that hasn't yet been renovated). Luckily we also had a single bed that my wife ended up sleeping on. The $20 per person breakfast hamper is not worth it.

Situated in a beautiful location within walking distance of most town attractions, this place offers a lovely view of the harbor. The on-site restaurant is very convenient, serving delicious food, but be sure to make a reservation as it’s quite popular!

Although we were informed about the renovations, it was still quite unpleasant to hear loud music from the workers while trying to enjoy the tranquillity of the area. Additionally, we were surprised to find there was no lock on the room door.

Location. Amazing. And having water views. Great having the restaurant on site.great staff. Liked having a laundry but would appreciate if included in the room . Staff (esp restaurant) were all helpful. Appreciated the complimentary chautuccerie board because of problems with tv. No iron in the room. Liked the ability to sit outside ,undercover with a table/chairs on the verandah.

The tv and internet reception was very patchy. Laundry very far away from room. Bathroom and furnishings were a bit ‘tired’. Would’ve liked a bit more light into the room(the only light into the living area was from the glass which needed curtaining for privacy.

Beautiful location right on the water, spacious room with great view from the front balcony.

TV didn’t work and couldn’t figure out how to lock the door from the inside, arrived just after 5pm and left before 9am in the morning and there was no reception on-site. Probably a very easy fix so not worth calling the emergency number or bothering the very busy restaurant. Seems like having check in assistance at a front desk until at least 7pm or 8pm would be a lot more customer friendly. Also there was an opportunity to not get room cleaned which I would have taken up but you needed to tell reception.. who were again not available…

View and location was great. Facilities are great taste and design. Staff went to an effort to give us cheese platter and breakfast basket which was nice.

Some of the amenities haven't quite been ironed out yet. The air con was broken. There were no plates to eat the breakfast on. Coffee mugs didn't fit into the coffee machine. Bath didn't have any soap or shampoo amenities. Would expect 2 towels per person for the price of the nightly room rate.

Gorgeous location, great rooms, extremely friendly and professional staff. Restaurant was the best food we ate during our entire stay in Strahan.

When I arrived my room hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant (apparently the cleaner had gone home sick) but the situation was quickly and professionally managed with a room upgrade and help relocating my bags. Very happy with the outcome.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and have a nice rustic vibe. Plenty of milk, chilled water and small complimentary chocolates which was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the spa bath was a great addition. Nice views over the river.

Understanding this is not the primary reason for a visit to Strahan, but the tv reception in my room was basically non-existent. I also could not connect to the guest wifi network and had limited cellular reception. This leaves very little to do beyond 6pm when most of Strahan closes.

The views and the friendly staff. It’s in a good location, good path leads into town or out to the old railway. It’s spacious (apart from the kitchenette).

The curtains are difficult to use and they are needed as the room looks straight out car park. There is an enormous en suite and very small kitchenette, would be more comfortable if the space was reorganised by halving the size of the bathroom and doubling the size of the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay in "the shack" , comfortable warm rooms that had everything you needed . Loved the coffee machine ☕. Best of all we only had to walk down stairs to the restaurant. Jack and Felipe were stellar throughout our stay and Jack is a fabulous chef and served us the best food we had our entire holiday . Beautiful during the day and amazingly beautiful at night .
