We had a really nice few days in Strahan. The location was great and the room was clean and had everything we needed for cooking dinner. It was also nice and quiet and I had the best sleep there. The air conditioning/heating worked really well and kept us comfortable.

Some maintenance issues such as a dribbling tap in the bathroom, the front door didn't slide easily and was difficult to shut, and it was hard to regulate the shower temperature. These are only very small things though, and overall I'd definitely recommend staying here, especially for families.

Location. Easy friendly front office, Clean & convenient Separate bedrooms, = booked with guests from Q/land Aust. good independent rest areas. Quality appliances = Good open plan with easy access to facilities (Bathroom, toilet etc) Easy walking distance to wharf & tourist conveniences.

Main access door had a good lock for security, but inconvenient for coming and going. (Lock tongue didn't stay back to allow door to shut properly without using key causing Draft) Only a small glitch to a comfortable Stay.

The Cabin was clean and well equiped Kitchen The bed was comfy and had plenty of blankets and an electric one too.. The location in the park was nice. we had a little streamhind us and had equipment for children further into the park, as well as a shared Laundry Was a bit of a walk into town so we drove (I am 60 and felt lazy LOL) There is an ATM, Cafe and Shop at the entrance. We went to see the Ship with no Name Play and it was a highlight of the stay. Wiould recomend it to all ages as had everyone laughing..

The balcany was very small and only had one chair. The heater was inefficient for the whole place but the electric blanket was excellent.

We were upgraded to a bigger cabin because of a faulty hot water problem in our original comfortable cabin, staff were very helpful and friendly. Park was quiet, convenient to all we needed and cabin was very comfortable. Only problem was remembering which way to open toilet door. There was a convenience store with meals on the property.

Great location near everything in strahan. The platypus walk was beautiful and fun for the kids. The kids also enjoyed the yard games. The master bed was comfortable!

It would be nice to have a few more lighting options (like a lamp by the master bed for reading), as the lights were bright and harsh LEDs. But it was comfortable enough for our stat!

The location was great. The cabin was very small but comfy and cosy with great heating. The shower was hot and had great pressure. Convenience to good food was great.

Sometimes noisy with people coming and going and standing talking at night but this is totally expected in a big and busy caravan park.

The late check-in procedure was very good. We did not need to speak to someone for the entirety of our stay. The park was tidy and well managed. The units were warm and had sufficient equipment to make a simple dinner and breakfast. Well located close to the town.

I cannot think of anything I disliked.

Loved the scenery and nature that was immediately surrounding the park. Cabin was cosy and easily accessible

The rooms got extremely cold because of gaps in the doors, unless we had the heater on full the whole time. The washing machines and dryers were also quite dodgy and expensive, didn't even clean or dry our clothes properly

Great location; next to the creek and a nice walk into town. The cabin was a good size for a couple. It was May, so pretty quiet there, nice!

The electric blanket didn't work on my side of the bed, then when I went to advise the manager, they were not there. It was a cold time of year, so glad I brought my own hot water bottle!

The site is large with cabins at one end and caravans at the other. The cabin was clean and tidy with two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds. Wished we could have taken up the use of the toboggans to go down the large sand dunes. We made use of the on-site general store which have early opening times (around 5:30 am). Kitchen was typical cabin layout with a full-size fridge. Bathroom was ok and there was enough hot water for both of us to have showers. Good parking with allocated bay near our cabin.

Using mobile texts to advise of check in procedures when the mobile coverage along the west coast of Tasmania is patchy at best. Reception staff was annoyed that the text wasn't read due to driving down the west coast and the poor mobile coverage. Internet coverage was extremely poor as they are using NBN satellites.
