Clean, good size room, tv, exceptional servicing, friendly staff, cleaners and manager. Lovely one level accomodation with easy access, good parking, good location. Very handy kitchenette with great utilities. Clean cutlery, plates, glasses and mugs
Air conditioner although new and modern split system, was difficult to control and felt at times as if not working. We needed heating with the season we chose to travel, and it felt inadequate even at 30 degree setting.

Very well priced accommodation with parking near the door, everything was clean and well presented with friendly welcoming staff upon arrival. Garage sale on a Saturday was a huge bonus!
Bed was extremely firm, woke up in middle of night with a hot bed due to the electric blanket switch being tucked under sheeting by staff who made bed which I must have bumped in my sleep. Was a very sweaty sleep during a summer visit Electric kettle was char black inside, tried to find staff on the Saturday afternoon but nobody was available.

We booked the largest room they had and it was massive. Very well equipped for self catering. On the edge of town on a very quiet road. Internet worked well. Nice Thai restaurant on site.
Coaches should not be allowed to embark or disembark in the courtyard late or early as it wakes everyone up. The room was adjacent to reception and had very poor sound insulation so we could hear all business conducted bt reception when it was open - not a problem overnight.

There was decaf coffee which is thoughtful of the property. The property itself is located along the road leading to the highway. Easy check in and check out process. The aircon is unable to keep up with the cold but it is expected and not a big deal. There was electric blankets provided. Fully equipped kitchen. Toaster, microwave, fridge, kitchem utensils. The unit was clean and tidy. There was a TV. Wifi is available and free of use. Unit has parking spot in front of it which is handy for towing luggage. It was a 2 to 3 minute drive to the nearest shop. There are 2 IGAs in town. Also a pizza place which served delicious potato bake and pizzas! Don't miss stopping by the Horsetail Falls Lookout Walk and Iron Blow Lookout.

My two-night stay at Gold Rush Hotel was a delightful experience. The room boasted a wonderfully comfortable queen-size bed, and the electric blanket was a godsend, especially for someone accustomed to Darwin's warmer climate. The high ceilings added to the spacious feel of the room, which was impeccably clean. I appreciated the convenience of the various dispensers on the wall, offering everything from shampoo to shaving cream. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. A highlight of my stay was dining at Mimso Kitchen, conveniently located next door. The food was exquisite, and I highly recommend it to fellow guests. Overall, a fantastic stay with top-notch amenities and service. I'll definitely be returning!

This was the perfect over night stay in Queenstown. Everything about our room was perfect. To top it all off we ate at the restaurant attached to the motel and that too was 9/10. The other 1 point was no fault of the restaurant they were down to only 1 chef that night so was a little longer then usual wait on meals.
There is absolutely nothing I could pick that we didnt like. This was everything we could want and more.

Everything! For a modest motel it was the best place we stayed in our entire trip around Tassie and Melbourne. We were so surprised with what these owners has packed into this country motel room. Anything you could have wished for was in this room. It was great value too. The decor and styling are appropriate to the age of the motel so not modern but updated accordingly, looked perfect to us, they had thought of everything, right down to a non slip mat if you needed it. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean, great internet and so glad we stayed there. Restaurant was booked out by a bus tour so cannot comment on that. When travelling through Queenstown an overnight stay here will be pleasant and delightfully not bust your budget. We loved it and hope the owners enjoy many fully booked weeks as they deserve it for all their attention to detail and thoughtfulness in the room set up.
Nothing, it was all great.

Staff were very friendly, nice touches in the accommodation, like streaming services on the tv and makeup removal wipes in the bathroom. Restaurant on site offered take away, and catered for vegetarian options. I was impressed.
The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the window to the room (which faces the carpark) was directly opposite the bed - the curtains needed to be carefully closed or people could see in. This is a room layout challenge, nothing to do with staff or facilities. Accommodation was otherwise excellent.

Jacky was very friendly and recommended us the restaurant on site, which was excellent. The bedroom was good. The shower was great. The room size was perfect for the three of us. We do recommend the place. Internet was very good.
The tv size. The apps are out of date. Maybe the tv should be updated and larger because we tried to watch a movie from my Netflix account and it was not possible. Also, from the beds the TV looks too small.

Clean room and high ceiling makes it a comfortable stay. Plenty space to put my stuff in the toilet. I like that they have a bar table and a dining table in the room.
I could hear the next room talking and coughing (not that ideal at midnight), probably because it's connected by a door. However, I didn't hear anything from the other room (likely it's a normal wall in between us).
