It was delightful to have a selection of cereals, plus fruit juice, milk, tea and coffee, and a carafe of port or such, waiting for us on arrival. The receptionist, Lydia I think, was extremely helpful in helping us out with some laundry. One of their machines was out of action, and being in a remote location, service people for machines are not readily available. Lydia took our laundry and put it through her own washing machine and dryer, which was a blessing indeed. We walked around the property and enjoyed the bush surrounding the place and the lawns out the front overlooking the river.

We are not bright light people so an adjustable lamp would have been appreciated in our sitting room. Just a thought.

We stayed in an upstairs spa suite with great views of the township. The room was large and comfortable with two balconies and a private BBQ which we used. A free laundry was a bonus and appreciated. The grounds were spacious and attractive. It had a great coffee (pod) machine, so morning coffees were made by us. It was located on the edge of town but only a couple of minutes' drive to get in so not a problem.

The supplied breakfasts were appreciated but would have liked some fresh bread rather than the breakfast biscuits. There was quite a lot of plastic packaging involved in the breakfast. The coffee machine was great but I had to find a short youtube to explain how to use it.

It was very nice, beautiful views over the river. Kids play area was great, they loved it. Room was comfortable and well equipped. No issues at all, and location was very accessible to cruise and train tour, so super easy. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Strahan. Decent value for money. We went in winter and the rooms were nicely heated. The free washing and dryer were super helpful!

The fridge made a bit of noise and we took the first night to figure out the heating, so maybe a guide to the heating would help and a new fridge but honestly wasn't that bad. We still had a great stay!

Great location with lovely views. Breakfast provided.

Reception area was very messy. A little bit off putting. If anyone arrives and goes straight to reception. We were given our room number from a text message. So all good!! We now know why. We had to ask for more toilet paper as we were nearly out, we stayed 3 nights. That why we noticed the reception area. The room was clean other than webs around the kitchen light fittings.

Room was comfortable and cosy. Great spa bath. Well stocked breakfast in the room was included. View was lovely. BBQ on balcony would be handy in good weather. We arrived during severe weather conditions which resulted in a black out on our 2nd night and road closures the next day. The manager/ owner, Lynda, kindly offered to hold our room for us as a free night if we couldn't get through the road blocks to our next stop. We didn't need to come back but really appreciated the offer!

Nothing much at all to dislike.

The location has a beautiful view and was situated in a way we could sit outside our room in the sun looking over the harbor.

The heater provided was a bit worn as the buttons to turn off, on, regulate heat and fan were either gone or unreadable. Also there is no way to lock your room door from the inside. We had to lock it from the outside and return to our room via a sliding door which we 🔒 from the inside. I would not want to be on my own.

Breakfast basket was exceptional and very appreciated. Room spacious. Couch in lounge dining area with separate bedroom. Great information folder which we found lacking in other motels. Great view over harbour. Appreciated the communication from hosts to direct us to our room and key due to late arrival. Bed very comfortable and the heaters in both rooms were a blessing. There were electric blankets on the bed but the heater was enough. Room clean. Shower very spacious. Balcony with table and chairs very nice to sit and watch the boats and night lights.

Parking is at rear of motel. May be an issue for some to bring suitcases over pebbled walkway. Bit hard to drag over pebbles. But the view worth it without vehicles hindering it.

Stunning location looking back over at the main part of Strahan. The BBQ on the side porch was a great and the breakfast basket had all the essentials. With a quick to heat room it was very cosy

The fridge was missing a door panel so a little hard to store some items, though not a big issue. Some kindling for the fire pit would have been a little more helpful to

Tia was fabulous with our communication and very happy to help with everything we asked of her. We arrived to a beautiful warm room as the heater and lights had been turned on. The views of the sun setting from the room were spectacular. The breakfast basket was very generous, as was the litre of milk and litre of fruit juice. A lovely touch was a decanter of port!

The only thing I was unhappy with was the fact that we could only stay for one night!

This was an ideal stay for our family. The view from the property was spectacular, the laundry facilities were exceptional. It was a relaxed property (with a playground my daughter loved) that catered to what we needed.

Firmer pillows… easily fixed by bringing our own next visit!
