Very smooth check in process with friendly staff member. Real milk provided rather than awful UHT always a plus. Rooms are quite spacious with good sound deadening - it was quiet despite the motel being fully booked. Shower pressure was good with pleasing hot water; tiled base is good. Updated aircon since I last stayed, now a Japanese split system (thumbs up in humid weather!) and an accessavle ceiling mounted flatscreen TV. They get the basics right here.

Bathroom is rather old and tired, could definitely use a re-fresh. They are strict on guests cleaning up after themselves eg. washing dishes etc. Location is on a hill heading away from Frankston but this also has its benefits too (peace and quiet). It's not a short walk into the town centre, however.

Received a very nice welcome on arrival by staff at reception, helpful with local facilities tips. Was good to have our two rooms next to each other. The kitchenette facilities were a great bonus ,plus the option of breakfast packs available at reception. I always like real milk which was provided instead of UHT and sweet biscuits with tea and coffee a nice touch. The Rainwater shower was excellent too. The room was a great size with plenty of room around the beds and a full size dining table and chairs. Electric blankets and heating in room came in handy as the weather was cold for the weekend. Definitely recommend to stay here for Peninsula area visit,was perfect for our Mt Eliza weekend activities.

If it had been warmer weather would have liked to try the pool!

t's a motel and it is on the budget end of things. and with that in mind, it is a great place to stay. It is not going to compare with a 5 star hotel but that's not why you are looking at it right? This was the second time I have stayed there and I will do so again. It is clean enough, secure enough, comfortable enough and cheap enough to meet my needs.

Not really anything to add here. It is a little bit old and run down but aren't we all? The bathroom is showing its age a little maybe?

Clean motel room, couldn't ask for more. There was a perfume in the room which did set off my wife's allergies, however after airing the room (even in the freezing cold), we managed to remove some of the smell (not at all the owners fault). Staff were easy going, very helpful and were all too keen to make sure everything was okay. We were there for the Harry Potter Forbidden Forrest experience. This place was only 20 minutes away, and great value for money.

Could have done with an out of hours contact (just in case, didn't see any indication on the office window of one). When you have kids, it's not uncommon to lock yourself out when you get flustered). The water took a while to get hot in the shower, and it was sensitive to adjustments, but it's a miniscule gripe. Some traffic noise from the main road where we were in unit #1.

The motel was conveniently located, clean and the two rooms we booked were as they appeared online. The managers were friendly, the pool was clean, the room facilities worked without issue and the rooms were serviced daily (if wanted). The pool had a good shaded seating area where I could watch my kids without being in the sun.

The toilet in our room started running twice in the middle of the night while we were there, but was easily fixed.

It was excellent value; the room was spacious and clean and quiet despite being close to a major road. The pool looked inviting but the weather was too cold to tempt me. The staff were helpful. The mattress was firm , which I like, but my wife would have preferred something a little softer.

No washers were provided. I don't mind liquid soap but it's a nuisance without a washer. I also find washers useful when trying to wash off sunscreen residue.

The room was very clean, carpet appeared to be very new. Room fairly contemporary. The room had a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and crockery. The owners were flexible with extending our stay. I found locating the hotel easy and there is a great pizza place 2 minutes drive away. Room was cleaned daily.

The mattress was a little lumpy but other than that I was really happy with the price, location and cleanliness of the property.

Location. Easy to find. Quick check in. Electric blankets.

Shower grout looked mouldy. Coffee or chocolate spilt down the valance on the bed. Bed super hard. Old TV's. Water damage around bathroom vanity. Burn marks and stains on carpet. One seat at table had a broken base. No couch.

Absolutely lovely staff. Breakfast packs available for purchase which is very convenient and our kids enjoyed eating them. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice big swimming pool with plenty of seating and a bbq area.

The outdated bathroom, really needs to be updated. I didn't want to use the bathroom shower because it just looked yuk, sorry! Everything else is fine.

Had a fabulous trip, and the stay was very comfortable. The only downside was that we had smokers next to us. You couldn't leave the door open as the smoke smell was awful. I get you have no control over this. It just meant we couldn't use our outdoor space when the smokers were iit.
