The room and bathroom were clean and the absence of the smell of cigarettes was great. Room service was regularly done. The toiletry products were of nice quality, and we appreciate the fact that you recycle used soap bars. The balcony was a great feature in our room. Proximity to the town and nearby mall , as well as the Racecourse where most of our events were being held was excellent and convenient.

The electrical outlets for charging devices was too close to the floor or way too inaccessible behind the beds for use. We only received 1 complimentary bottle of water per day. The walls in between rooms are very thin, and most conversations by staff or other guests is audible, including our own, which is disturbing. Unfortunately, the breakfast options for vegetarians or other dietary restrictions is quite limited for today's time, along with limited access to drinking water. The shower temperature and force was moderate, most times of the day or night.

Location was good for what I needed for this specific stay. Room Service food was amazing and super quick. Great price for the size of the meal. Great facilities with the bistro, a cafe and bottle shop on site. Staff were super helpful and lovely to speak with.

Quite dated and being right next to a main road you could hear all the cars zooming past late at night time same with if anyone was in the hallway or the room next to you. Fridge doesn't have a freezer however if you're needing ice the staff in the bar were more than accomodating. Breakfast was very basic. no options for a hot breakfast.

The room was above average in size which is always a bonus. There was coffee and tea etc, as standard. The bathroom was quite large with a walk in shower which allowed good movement. Ther heating was good. The bed was a king size and quite comfortable and the bedding was excellent and warm. Included breakfast was continental, basic but plentiful. With included breakfast for 2 the cost of the room was $172, by my calculations this made the room around $142 which is excellent value. We will stay here again when in the area and recommend The Terrace to all.

- Continental breakfast included (Cereal, yoghurt, tinned fruit, toast and english muffins, tea, coffee and juice) - Extensive bistro and cafe menu featuring woodfired pizzas - Kids colouring and indoor play area available in the bistro - Special deal nights (Monday kids eat free, Tuesday $20 steaks, Wednesday $17 parmas) - Thirsty Camel bottleshop on site - Several takeaway options dorectly across the street (McDonalds, Dominos, Kebabs, Chinese) - Beds and pillows were comfortable - Toilet paper was not complete garbage like what many other hotels use - Daily housekeeping was prompt and thorough - Reasonably good location within a short drive to quite a few attractions/activities

- Having some bowls, plates, forks and knives in the room would have been nice (only mugs, cups and tea spoons were provided for tea and coffee making). - Having only one key was abit inconvenient as the key powered the room lights and also opened the external building doors, so if one person was going to get something from the car, or from the shop across the street you either had to have no lights in the room (abit hard to shower or use the toilet etc.) or you would have to call the other guest in your room to come and let you back into the building on your way back.

I was attending an activity with the Red Hatters & didn't want to drive home in the dark. The Settlement was my safe haven for the night. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff, a great location (there was even an OpShop across the road), and one of the most comfortable beds I've encountered away from home! Thank you!

The room was fantastic, beautiful king bed, spa and the toiletries were amazing mire than just shampoo and soap, we found excellent quality and from a loofa and slippers to vanity, sewing shaving kits and bath salts it was so lovely. The terrace was great, room service was great 10 out 10

We ordered room service from the bistro and the girls were a little rude other than that can't fault it

Blissfully quiet room with a comfortable, clean bed and pillows . Fantastic bathroom. Great decor, spacious, and easy outdoor access. Very secure. In-room amenities well thought out and in perfect condition. Staff were efficient and polite. By far the best suburban accommodation we have ever experienced, it was a very pleasant surprise as we weren't expecting much! Unfortunately we were only there for one night, but I'd like to return one day.

Two relatively minor things. Confusion upon arrival as there was no signage visible at the entry or in the carpark to direct us to reception or the accommodation carpark. Poor lighting between reception and the rooms when returning to the room late at night.

Staff helpful on arrival and easy check in. Good parking. Room was clean and spacious and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast provided and the restaurant and bar handy and food was delicious. Great to have access to the laundry (need change).

Bathroom has a spa with shower overhead. We managed getting in and out but a few handrails would be useful to help prevent accidents.

Check In experience - OUTSTANDING Samima was exceptional, Very Polite, Greeted with a huge smile, I only had my phone on me, (Purse was in the car) They physically need to see your ATM Card, Samima was very patient, Give this woman a Pay rise, we will be back to stay again.

The only thing was a little dust on top of the adjoining door on the brass! The Split system was noisy - we just turned it off, room kept its temperature.

The settlement hotel and facilities on site were exceptional. The staff were friendly, the restaurant and cafe and bar were welcoming, and I felt very safe being there on my own. The room service and amenities were exceptional. The bottle of water daily, the continental breakfast included, and the housekeeping services were remarkable. I did not have to ask for anything. There were plenty of towels and hand creams, shampoos and tea bags. The shortbread biscuits were very nice, and I felt it was a home away from home. Very relaxing and quiet.

The baths needed a non-slip mat inside when having a shower.
