The host is very friendly, helpful and accommodating to our stay. It’s a beautiful, peaceful and in the central of nature but close enough distance to the city of Lake Entrance. Kids love birds and chickens feeding. It’s a lovely place to re visit.

The driveway could have been better but no problem for us as we drive a big car but it will be a troublesome for a small car. Luckily we were there during summer, not so much rain. Also the signage needs to be improved of path towards the property. For us it’s not an issue but it could be clearer.

Fantastic spacious rural cottage surrounded by trees & vegetation with excellent facilities in a really lovely peaceful location. The cottages are positioned so each has privacy from the others. We loved seeing the chickens wandering around & also saw lots of parrots etc. We saw lots of pelicans down at the jetty which is few minutes drive away, and koalas on Raymond Island which is about 40 minutes drive approximately. Friendly owners. Best place we’ve stayed .

We enjoyed the rustic driveway up to the properties in our standard hatchback car but it may be worth mentioning that it’s a short stretch of slightly bumpy unmade road up to the properties, not that it should put anyone off visiting this lovely place.

We loved this place! The location is amazing. The cabin was super cosy - we bought some firewood from the reception and had a really pleasant evening relaxing in front of the fireplace. The spa bath was great and the beds were very comfy.

The kitchen could be better equipped. The place sleeps four, but there weren't enough dinner plates, side plates and bowls for four people. There was also only one saucepan, which made cooking a little complicated, but we made do - my son ate on a side plate instead of a dinner plate, for example. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Great price for a cute little cottage. Had a separate bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Bed was in the back part with the spa on the opposite side, with the bathroom door behind it, so the bathroom was almost hidden, i like that. The little lounge & kitchen was cute. The chickens that roam around the property are adorable, 2 of them ran up to me to say hi, so cute! And we saw a possum.

Sign inside the room asking for no shoes, but the floor was really grubby. Had to clean my feet before i hopped into the spa. Wore thongs from then on.

Situated close to the Twin Falls and Grotto. Easy walk to them . Little drive Fitzroy Falls and other waterfalls in the area. Quiet wooden area. Bit older needs a little make over, Touch up. But loved its quirks. Can't really complain as did enjoy it. Was there a few days. Stove was good as one of the few places we stayed on trip was full size. We saved our scraps to feed the pigs. Who were in their beds, but called Spice and all 3 came running. Was a treat.

No tongs. Little older. Needs a touch up. But really couldn't complain. We enjoyed the quiet bush setting. WIFI is terrible. Phone connection was not good. Walk 100 metres or closer to the Falls or towards the office. Or see the pigs and gets phone reception. We were aware of this. As long as hubby had TV he was happy. Had to watch the grandfinal. Lol The was a bit small and freezer wasn't working as had no cover.

A hidden gem if you want privacy, comfort and not being too far off the beaten track. It was welcoming and despite being close to highway exceptionally quiet. It had enough bits and pieces to make a meal if you didnt want to venture out. A close walk to the local jetty and local pub so you didnt have to venture anywhere. A great place to chill if you didnt want the sterility of a motel room

Nothing glaringly obvious, yes establishment is dated but clean, and in reality you are in a BUSH cottage

I have stayed here several times before over many years and love the seclusion in the forest although still being close to Lakes Entrance. As many people have said, the property is dated, and could do with a bit of an update, however, it is ideal for a short getaway away from the main areas of Lakes Entrance. It was clean and comfortable and exactly as I remember it. It is very good value for money. Close to Kalimna Hotel for a meal.

The location was peaceful with a jetty within walkng distance. The owner is very friendly and helpful Comfy and clean . I would stay here again

Would be great to have something in the place to light the gorgeous fireplace and a remote to use the recerse cycle aircon, Easily provided but needed to ask for it. The outside area chairs and tables could do with a clean . Very dirty - not just a dust. The oven needs to be replaced, Rusted through walls . Did not need to cook so was no problem for me.

What an incredibly breathtaking property and location!! The trees, the birds, the fresh air! All of the little cottages are a comfortable enough distance from unkown neighbours but still close by if travelling in groups. The beds were so comfy, soft sheets and electric blankets on all beds. We had our kids and they all loved exploring around and meeting the goats and chickens. Jeff was an absolute delight. It was truly incredible and will definitely be a highlight of our cross country trip!!

The host is very friendly & helpful, giving us lots of advices & going beyond to entertaining us. The cottage has a lot of special touches. There is animal feedings included as well. All in all, it is a very pleasant stay. I will definitely recommend this place for stay in Lakes Entrance.

The one way road is unsealed & certain part is steep, so a 4WD is better to negotiate the road into the property.
