Manager Aatur was friendly and professional.My room was neat, clean and light with a lovely outlook and away from the noise of the highway. Great value for money. I’ll definitely be back.

Room was comfortable and had all the key facilities- bed was comfortable,  room had a couch and table area. Food facilities incl microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Shower was roomy with hand held and good water pressure. The pub was a short walk along the road (no footpath) with meals @$30 each. Food was good quality.

Shower drainage was really poor, I had around 3cm of water in the base throughout my shower. The rooms face straight onto the road with minimal street or external lighting. While it was a quiet road as a solo female I did feel a bit vulnerable as there was no passive surveillance from other rooms and only a door lock (no chain). No convenience stores/groceries/petrol stations within walking distance that we saw, all were avail within driving distance

Lovely hosts who accommodated our out of hours check in. The room is simple but is clean and well appointed - everything was clean and everything worked. Sheets were good quality and the bed was comfortable. There was enough room to move around a bit in the room, which made a difference. Also, parking was easy and right out the front. All up, this was great value.

There was a slight mildew smell in the room. It certainly wasn't bad, and the room was clean. Just noting it because I noticed it. There were no serious negatives here. We will be staying here again when we are up this way. We've stayed in a few of the budget options in Lakes Entrance and this is by far the best.

Minor things, Definitely a few updates needed,some new towels both bath and kitchen, check all cups and saucers don’t have chips in them and are matching, perhaps put a couple of small milks in the fridge when expecting customers to arrive it’s just a way of making people feel welcome without having to go to the office to ask for it. I was hoping to find someone in the office when I checked out just to sum up my stay and thank them for the service provided but unfortunately I didn’t have that opportunity

Not the prettiest but in my opinion absolutely enough for just one night of sleep. So for the price nothing to complain. If you want a resort, pay for a resort... Nice view from the viewpoint right next to it and cute little town right at the beach (ninety mile beach). The manager is so nice to talk to and gave us tips for the area and even beyond! Sure a carpet in a hotel room is never really nice but overall I think it was really clean. Maybe we were lucky but neighbors were quiet! We would come back if we came this way again.

Not very modern

The property has only changed hands in the last two weeks and in talking to the manager they were doing lots of maintenance ..Big plans were underfoot! We found our unit very clean and tidy and the staff were very accommodating..We needed a breadboard and bread knife and they were prompt at getting them for us…We thoroughly enjoyed our night there and it was great to have the local pub just down the road for getting our dinner.

Really can’t think of anything

The staff were so accommodating as we were running so late for our check-in time, and with communication, the problem was not a problem anymore. The views are stunning, and with nature all around, it is amazing! The room was lovely and had basic needs, and with only 5-6 minutes, the drive down to the main town was a positive as well.

Understand the need for the lights around the pool area, but they are on most of the night (off approx 3am). Maybe thicker/blockout curtains for the rooms. But not a huge issue.

Could park at the front of our room, the views.

It was an odd setup with the kitchen and bathroom, had kettle near bathroom sink and microwave and tea coffee etc up near front door. Small TV . Could hear people in the next rooms too easy and hard to get through bathroom door due to new bathroom design, also had shower leak out of handheld shower. Last night there we had 4 medium cockroaches on our ceiling, not sure if they came through the door when we opened it to come in.

Extremely good value for money. Obviously an older style motel which has been upgraded and it was absolutely spotless which I was not expecting for that price and type of motel. Warm and comfortable and very quiet. There was some work going on nearby, but the walls must be quite thick because you really couldn’t hear them very much early in the morning. Lovely view if you walked across and had a look only a few steps. Definitely need transport, however it is up the hill out of lakes entrance but I had a car so no worries and I will absolutely stay again and recommending to friends

Fantastic location, with great scenery at all the lookouts. Nearly walking path to the city centre, Kalima Lookout and along Kalima Jetty. Again, all with great scenery. Updated bathroom with very good hot-water supply. Basic but clean and comfortable, with available in-room amenities like a microwave, a small fridge, cutlery, etc. Situated along the main road but surprisingly very quiet because it faces away (towards the water). Value for money.

No soap-holder. Extremely weak (or non existent) Wi-fi. Need better signs for power supply/control in the room because they are all faded. Not enough milk for tea/coffee.
