Firstly, the location was close to the main highlights at Swan Valley. There is a great breakfast place just across the road but you have to be there early. In the cabin, there were clean beds, toilet was separate from the shower so 2 people could use them concurrently. There were pots and pans, dish soap, cutlery, fridge and a microwave too. Living room was large with 2 sofas and a TV so people could gather and relax there. There were also chairs and a table in the sheltered area outside the door so we can enjoy the view of the surroundings nicely. In the area, there is a pool, playgrounds and a recreation room for rainy days. There are 2 laundry points, with some clotheslines nearby

For the 2 laundry points, there are many washers but only 1 dryer for each point. So everyone was trying to dry our clothes.

I loved that Discovery Park was easy to find. The receptionist was super friendly, and helpful, giving detailed, written instructions for the park, and a directory of attractions and activities in the area which we found very useful. The cabins came with full facilities, thoughtfully equipped with every convenience for our comfort enabling us to enjoy a restful, and stress-free stay. All the allocated and extra parking for visitors, is brilliant! I love where the park is situated, allowing easy access to some beautiful dining experiences. With such a friendly, happy atmosphere, we would love to come back for regular family reunions. Thank you, for all your extra love and care. I love Discovery Park in Caversham. ❤️❤️❤️

What is not to love?

Verandah, vineyard on the photo, clean and tidy accomodation.

Misleading title in the camp name - Swan Valley, while in reality you are still in Bassendean. Photos that I saw on Booking.com didn't present the reality of the camp where most of the accomodation is full time reaidents. Pool was way smaller than how it looked at the photos, ducks were swimming and pooing in the pool and on the edge of it. Not hygienic, especially for kids that accidentally drink some of the pool water. Vineyard at the photo appears walk in and not behind the fence, like it is in reality.

From the moment you enter Swan Valley Discovery Parks, you feel like home, what great place to stay. The staff, from the moment you meet the staff, they really do welcome you in, & couldn't have been more helpful. Cabins were awesome, the beds, really great beds not what you would expect at a discovery park, air-conditioning, & just about every other creature comfort needed. Facilities are great, Laundry, BBQ, recreation room. The facilities are great, but the staff were even better. I know I will be back again. A very big thank you to. After a pretty stressful three hour drive on a dreadfully windy, wet day; it was a relief to finally arrive at the Swan Valley Discovery Park in Caversham. The ground and reception staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful; providing me with a well labelled Swan Valley Handy Guide, which included all the information/ details I needed for my stay. My accommodation, a self-contained little cabin, complete with a balustraded verandah and adjacent parking slab, did not disappoint. It was compact, cosy, comfortable, meticulously clean and very well appointed with everything to make my stay pleasurable. Worthy of mention was the bed. It was sheer luxury and comfort plus! I enjoyed my stay in a safe, secure and well-appointed park, close to the many facilities and attractions available in the Swan Valley.

Due to the atroc ious weather, the wifi kept dropping out.

Clean, quite and spacious cabin with parking alongside cabin - which is my preference. Arriving late the keys and instructions were left in easily accessible location and I was texted by the park all the information I needed prior to my arrival.

Lack of mobile reception in the cabin meant I could not get on the internet through hotspot of either of my phones (I have both Optus and Telstra mobiles). I think this is more of a lack of coverage by the telcos for the Swan Valley area however, as it does depend on where you are on the site as to coverage because I have previously stayed at this park, but in a different cabin, and phone service in that cabin was fine. Overall, this was not a drama for me, I simply watched TV and rested more, which wasn't such a bad thing.

It gave me independence. Being a sole traveler I like to provide for myself. The kitchen area provided all the necessary equipment for me to produce meals. The bathroom was clean and once again provided all I required. Parking. Privacy. Friendly neighbours. Very quiet.

Excellent smart TV; unfortunately the analog/digital signal was weak resulting in many stations not available. I believe it to be a loose aerial cable.

I like the layout of the cabin. The air con was on making entry very comfortable. It was lovely and quiet, and the after-hours lady was absolutely lovely .I really appreciated being able to get a 2 bedroom cabin when I asked, although originally I booked a single room cabin . The staff were very polite, happy and helpful. The grounds were clean and tidy, and all up the park is very lovely.

The second bedroom, a bunk bed type set up, double on the bottom, unfortunately, was uncomfortable for my daughter, and the bed really made a noise even just touching it, so she had to sleep on the floor on a single mattress .

Warm, friendly staff and hasslefree check in - We stayed in cabin 303 - which had 2 bedrooms - aircon in bedrooms and living room - beds were comfortable and warm with extra blankets and towels, spacious shower - Bedroom 1x queen bed in main room, with a bedside table and lamp on either side of the bed. Double ward robe with mirror robe with sliding doors - Bedroom 1 bunk with single top and double bottom, 2x fold down sofas in living room and medium size fridge big enough for essentials and more, large dinning table and chairs, oven, stove and microwave and pleny of cupboard space to for storage. Also car park/carport space, which fitted our Mazda E2000 Dove pop top camper van and Chery rental car. Free car wash bay on site, which came in very handy for cleaning the rental car before returning, which saved time and stress. We were also granted a late check out, even though we asked for it on the last night of our stay.

Clean, quiet park. Very peaceful surroundings yet convenient to Guildford and nearby grocery stores.

The cabins could have some more kitchen items like plastic containers for food since there is a full kitchen and TV size is a little underwhelming but minor complaints overall.
