Very nice newly refurbished room (especially bathroom) although bed, pillows and linen felt old. Lovely toiletries!! Good location for airport. The staff member who served us on reception was so lovely and welcoming. The hotel was quiet enough until the planes start at 6am but nothing ear plugs couldn’t help with.

It was close to airport but the shuttle reviews put us off when we arrive so we got a taxi. The taxi driver was so cross as it was such a short journey. Not the welcome we would have hoped for and not come across such an ungrateful taxi driver. I did feel sorry for him as he said he’d been waiting for 3 hours. What would we know? Anyway we got to the hotel $36 later but at least we were earlier to bed than the shuttle would have been as wasn’t guaranteed and we were on a late flight. The shuttle in the morning was excellent. They leave every hour on the hour .

The Ingot is an excellent hotel. We were there for 2 days and our 2nd floor Delux King room (room number 220) was clean, well appointed, nicely decorated with modern furnishings and plenty of space available. The room overlooked the pool. They have done a great job in fitting out the room and bathroom with nothing overlooked - down to plenty of hooks/rails to hang towels, bathrobes or to dry bathers. This bathroom also included a bath. The shower had excellent water pressure and a hand held shower head available. It is excellent value for money, with free parking, room service and restaurant/cafe onsite. The pool was lovely and refreshing during the 2 hot days we were there. All staff I encountered were very friendly and professional. Would definitely return.

Staff were very accommodating. We arrived early expecting not to have access to our room, but it was ready which we appreciated. The staff at the bar were friendly and made good cocktails and Happy Hour. The room was clean, well-stocked and large. Excellent shower head with good water pressure. The pool area was clean along with the changing rooms. Good location across the way from restaurants.

It is possible to hear people coming and going from their rooms, doors closing and talking in the corridor; so bring ear plugs. The bar area inside and out, by the pool was slightly sterile. There were remains of food and napkins that were overlooked underneath an outside table.

We arrived late straight from our flight. The hotel is a short drive from the airport. We were immediately welcomed by a friendly front desk staffer. When we saw our family room we were VERY impressed. It was spacious and newly renovated. It had all the amenities you could need including a washer dryer so we could get the kids messy clothes from the day washed and dried before the next day. Again on check out the staff were so lovely and spent a lot of time interacting with our 2 young kids and keeping them entertained.

The breakfast is quite average for a hotel breakfast

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel room was spacious and the restaurant had a good selection for breakfast. Very helpful that they provide a free shuttle to and from the airport.

There were ants in my bed and on the bedside tables. I don’t think this happens often and could have just been that particular room. The cleaning team attended to it straight away and the rest of my stay was fine. They offered me a complimentary drink for the inconvenience. The location is close to the airport but a 20-25 min bus journey from the CBD. The bed wasn’t very comfy in my opinion.

Room was very clean and we appreciated the complimentary water and tea/coffee stations provided. It had plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Beds were super comfy and liked that the hotel info was all easily accessible through the tv ie; room service options/restaurant times etc. We unfortunately didn't get time to try out the restaurant and Cafe but liked that it was easily accessible and an option during the stay. Very convenient for our family was the free airport shuttle which we used to pick us up when we landed and easy to book seats for drop off to the airport the next morning- Close to airports, drivers were both friendly and helped with luggage. Reception staff were super friendly and welcoming. Thank you

The amenities were great, beds were superbly comfy.

I was disappointed with how the male receptionist handled my booking. He repeatedly told me that I hadn't done certain things, such as requesting an extra bed or paying for the rooms, even though I had received confirmation from the hotel staff that these were possible and had completed the payment few days prior. After double-checking, he eventually confirmed everything, but the experience made me feel as though I was being questioned or that my claims were unfounded. I had assumed everything was in order based on my email exchange with the hotel staff, but it seems there was a lack of communication. Aside from this incident, the rest of the staff were great and provided excellent service.

This was my second time here. I came back because of the amazing staff at reception and the location. Bonnie is the most welcoming and helping person I’ve ever met at a reception of all the places I’ve been around the world. There was a Nepalese woman (sorry I forgot your name) at reception who was absolutely wonderful and gave some tips on my upcoming trip to her native land. The free shuttle bus service to the airport was the cherry on top. I will definitely come back and recommend.

For that price breakfast could be included.

We chose Ingot because of its proximity to the airport and also because it has a good gym. It was only about 10min drive to get to the hotel from the terminal. Around the hotel there were a few good eating places including steakhouses, Indian, and McDonalds, all within easy walking distance. The hotel was nice and modern with a welcoming reception. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Our view wasn’t great, but I didn’t really expect it to be, being a low-rise in the city. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet, so we had a very restful sleep. The free Wifi worked great and the TV had tons of good programming. We had a couple of great workouts in the gym and found it to be very well-equipped with high quality equipment.

Airport shuttle, great staff they dress look like staff should. Fantastic finely a hotel that blacks out the window with curtains.

Quite cold in building hallways ect and hear the planes quite a lot in the room we were on in the third floor. There wasn’t quite enough selection of food in the restaurant for my Asian wife, as she doesn’t eat beef. Love vegetables . Ps don’t like the stickers on back of the remote surely people don’t steal them that often if they do you have a deposit it just looks cheap .
