I would say that this Motor Lodge deservs 6*. Clean, good territory, good clean swimming pool. It not just a hotel near the road. It's more than this. Looks like owner really invests a lot in this Lodge and care about this Lodge.

Restaraunt was closed when it was supposed to be open. I went to reseption and asked why it was closed. They said "ah, we'll open it now". When they opened restaurant- lots of people came to eat. Seems like if I wouldnt asked to open, they didnt plan to open. Lazy service people. Restaurant is new, after rennovation. Seems like the owner of the hotel invested a lot in it. But his employees didnt want even open the restaurant. It's very pity. I hope owner will see my message.

It was not fancy, just plain, but pleasantly comfy and clean and friendly. There were surprise sculptures carved in trees and dotted around the property. The gardens were tended and immaculate. Again, not fancy, just cared for and clean. The pool and pool area was nicely lit and there were tables, chairs, benches and poolside deck chairs to use. Check in and out was easy and the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was, again, plain and clean with some thoughtful elements. The food was good and substantial and the waitress pleasant. I had room service breakfast delivered the next morning and it was really good. A few surprising menu choices!! I got brave and tried a ham cheese and pineapple omlette!

A power point next to the bed and an option for a dim light, rather than only stark white LED, and the aircon was quite noisy.

I unfortunately forgot the name of the lovely lady who kindly helped us with an early check-in. Although we paid a small fee for the service, it was truly appreciated. Her kindness didn’t go unnoticed, and she’s the main reason I’d choose to stay here again. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly, and I absolutely loved the convenience of the airport shuttle.

I didn’t realise I had booked a single room, which only included a double bed. My partner is 6’8” and solidly built, and I’m not exactly petite myself, so sleeping was definitely a tight squeeze. For $175 per night, plus an additional $30 for early check-in, I was expecting at least a queen-sized bed. I’ll be sure to double-check room details more carefully next time.

It was a very clean, decent sized room with very comfortable beds and a kitchenette, which we did not use but would be handy if staying for a few nights. It's a relatively old motel which is showing some wear and tear, but is clean and tidy. The big shower head and effective block out curtains were great. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

I'm a light sleeper, so I found it fairly noisy. There's obviously traffic noise from the highway and some noise coming through from neighbouring rooms. We had a ground floor room, and the vehicle parked directly outside it left and came back in the middle of the night.

We liked how we could get a ride to the Lodge

Would have been nice for the driver to explain to us that we could put our luggage in the boot of the vehicle instead of where everyone is sitting and rolling around... Also would have been nice when we arrived to the Lodge to explain to us NEW people to the City for the FIRST time that " We have arrived to the Lodge now, please go over to the receptions office and POINT to where we need to go and have a great night." There wasn't any communication from the driver other than when she pulled up and we read the name on the side of the van & I went up to her and she asked if we were staying at the Lodge, I answered YES and that was the whole conversation we had...

Rooms are a great size and clean! The pool and other facilities are all well kept. Beds were also comfortable. Easy and friendly check in and check out.

The rooms are only serviced if staying longer than 5 days. This fine though it is annoying that rubbish builds up and you quickly run out of coffee and milk items, inconvenient having to go Reception to ask for more. As a motel we did also expect some more facilities in the room such a a microwave but only tea and coffee items available. The restaurant on site is pretty expensive.

The location, close to the airport

There’s nothing wrong with the property, just the rates is getting expensive per night, the cost getting expensive but the upgrade in rooms not worth the price you pay, for example, ( body wash, shampoo and conditioner ) those tiny bottles in the room I was in not enough for my long hair, I have to buy my own, and the room wasn’t serviced how they say, the house keeping should service the rooms daily regardless if clients checked in the night before, regardless!!! House keeping: please make sure that staff check their room number properly before open the door, I was sleeping when the maid opened the door but can’t get in, the latch was on, saying that her list says we have checked out, until I said my room number and she realised that she was at the wrong room

I had an operation due to breast cancer and stayed at Flag after that for 2 days, I felt so relaxed while I was there, I was able to have room service meals which were all delicious, well priced huge portions ! Fruit salad for breakfast $5 ! The grounds are beautiful, with a pool and loads of Aussie animals carved into trees around the place, surprisingly quiet at night..the office is open 24/7 and the staff are so helpful and friendly.. Have stayed again since then and recommended Flag to friends.This place is great 10/10

Room Service was excellent, staff friendly & helpful, restaurant food generous portions, lovely large pool & plenty of seating in tropical setting. Shop very handy & Airport Shuttle a big bonus. Road noise tho unavoidable a bit disturbing at times as were some of the other clients thru rather 'thin' walls. Missed having a microwave, However, would stay again, thank you. 24hr Reception a reassuring support.

Some of the noise levels, tho most unavoidable. Some long waits in Restaurant due to some ?staff shortages.

I love the cleanliness of the place. It was immaculate for an accommodation place. The bed was super comfortable. The stubby holders were a nice gift. I absolutely love the gardens out the back . The pool area was beautiful and clean. Was a little too cold for a swim. But we will definitely be back.

We thought we would try the new restaurant. We had breakfast. The couple next to us were leaving and heard us order and gave us the heads up that the scrambled eggs are very bland and dry. Unfortunately she was right. That was a bit of a disappointment. They had no flavour and dry. Partner ordered omelette of the day. It was flat and dry and very basic. The toast was dry. We weren't impressed with the food at all. But everything else was fantastic
