The staff were helpful and flexible when we arrived early and also wanted to upgrade to a room with a balcony. On the downside the wi fi didn’t work very well so I used my personal data a lot of the time. We also had to ask about four times to get our room cleaned properly which was a bit frustrating.The rooms are really large and comfortable with a small kitchen. The pool was very nice and large in a well kept garden. You are a bit of a distance away from Perth city and on a main road but there is a bus that connects you. I thought that it was really good value for money and there is a free shuttle back and forwards to the airport. We found the side of the hotel away from the pool to be quiet.

LOCATION WAS GREAT, CLOSE TO A FEW EATING PLACES AND AN IGA. RED ROOSTER VITAMINESE, INDIAN, AND OTHERS. BOTTLE SHOP AND PERTOL STATION ONLY 2 WALKABLE BLOCKS AWAY. OUR ROOM WAS QUITE SPACIOUS BUT THE BATHROOM WAS CRAMPT, SHOWER BASIN LEAKED, SINK WOULD NOT HOLD WATER, TOWELS WERE SO SMALL YOU NEEDED 3 TO DRY YOUSELF. LIFT DOORS CLOSED VERY QUICKLY AND HAD NO REOPEN SAFTEY FUNCTION ATTACHED. LIFT WAS VERY SMALL AND ONLY JUST FITTED MY WHEELCHAIR AND MY WIFE. POOL WAS NOT VACUMED AND WATER WAS OUT OF BALANCE FOR QUITE A FEW DAYS. WASHING AND DRYING FACILITES WERE VERY GOOD AND WELL PRICED. CAR PARKING WAS GOOD BUT ONLY 2 HANDICAPED SPACES.

Great Eastern Motor Lodge is a good value for money hotel in a good location, friendly, helpful staff, ample parking and 24hr reception (which is very handy). They have their own airport shuttle as well. The deluxe spa room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a large bathroom (with a larger shower and corner spa), ample storage and had everything you need for a short, medium or long term stay. When I'm back in Perth and need accommodation I will stay here again.

Suite 198 is a deluxe spa suite on the top floor with the balcony facing Great Eastern Highway. The only negative is the road noise is VERY LOUD (and this is to be expected as GE Hwy is a main arterial road). The sliding door to the balcony is the only way to get fresh air as there are no other windows and the road noise is constant (trucks, sirens, motorcycles etc). You could try to drown it out with the TV or music, but then your neighbours wouldn't like you :)

Good location. Close to shops, take always cafes and restaurants. Rooms were clean. Love having a balcony. Very happy little getaway for us.

The hot water tap in shower leaked from the wall, kept our feet away. Shower head a little lax. An extra towel is handy (as a girl, I need to wrap my hair up after shower). An extra blanket in cupboard maybe. A little more crockery and cutlery would have been handy. More than one little milk and a few salt n peppers would be good. A chair or 2 on balcony and maybe a table would be good. But but no means did any of these things ruin our stay. Also internet seemed to dull on the tv channels. And if some people find it hard to rest or sleep with traffic noise, a room along the front wouldn’t be a good choice. Again, we were not bothered.

Good location for what I needed, which was a place close to the airport. I arrived at 2am and the check in procedure was smooth, fast and friendly, also I was happy with the room I was allocated because it was close to reception on the ground floor. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and I much prefer the rooms at the front. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and the whole room was very clean. Another thing I like is the airport drop off service.

I was happy with everything, other times I have stayed in the rooms at the back, and it has been noisy, and the rooms are smaller and not as nice as the rooms at the front.

We – my wife, our two children, and I – stayed at Great Eastern Motor Lodge for more than three weeks. The rooms are in good condition; we had an apartment with a dining area and two bedrooms. The location is convenient, allowing for quick access to various parts of Perth. A major shopping center, Belmont Forum, is located nearby. There is a pleasant riverside walking area just a 5-minute walk away, perfect for family strolls and jogging. The front desk staff were friendly and responsive. Room cleaning is provided upon request and is done thoroughly. I recommend this place.

A minor downside was the unstable Wi-Fi.

Unfortunately, the request was denied, and I was left without a room, forced to sleep in a nearby bus shelter. This experience was distressing and disappointing, especially after being a loyal guest for an extended stay. While the room and location were satisfactory, the lack of compassion and support from the management left a lasting negative impression.

We had a specious hotel apartment with all the facilities, it felt like home staying there for a week. There is a supermarket and a couple of decent restaurants nearby and a bus stop which would take us to the city centre. The swimming pull was such a good addition, as the weather was very hot during our stay, in February. The airport transfer was such a surprise and we loved it. Although we were not that close to the city centre, we were very close to the airport which was a pro.

Everything was lovely, the only thing is, because we stayed for a week, we put the "please clean the room" sign, but the cleaners didn't vacuum clean the apartment, until we mentioned it. The hotel is not close to anything interesting, but there are bus stops right outside the hotel to take you to the city centre and elsewhere.

The location of the motel is strategic and staff are helpful and it is surrounded with eatery places or restaurants and it is quiet. I like the room that comes with an attached balcony which allows us to enjoy the breeze of wind and the warm sun each morning as we wake up.

Everything was good except that the kettle is rusty and the pot handle nearly fell off and each time I turned on the hair dryer, there were silver pieces that blew out from it and a weird sound, the fridge smelled as the smell was probably getting rid of. One of the best diy methods to deal with fridge odor is to leave two tablespoons of grinded coffee powder in the fridge and this works powerfully.

I was happy with the location. A short walk to the take away food shops. A comfortable bed and bathroom with enough space to move. Plenty of parking available.

Lack of bed making and fresh towel service. We stayed for 5 nights. We asked the staff to sevice our room and it was only done once and the bed dooner was left lumpy. Staying guests should not have to ask for fresh daily towels and bed made. When a person asks once for a room service this should automatically be done every day of a persons length of stay. Of course a paying guest is expecting this to be done every not just one day out of 5. I think this is inconsiderate and Dumb of staff and management
