Altough I didn't have the opportunity I was pleased the hotel had a pool. Next time I stay I will definately have a swim.

I would have liked to have breakfast at the hotel but it is only an option on Sunday. However, there are a few very nice cafes across the road and they offer a very nice breakfast.

There wasn't a breakfast option - although there were two cafes just across the road. Loved the meals and the staff at the Hotel and bar area. The cleaning/Housekeeping staff were very good.

Could have been a couch or armchairs in the room. Highly dangerous step from the room onto the front patio (lawn area). Needs to have a step there. Trying to book was difficult. We wanted twin beds as there was an option for that. I tried to contact the Hotel directly for this re: through a message link however it was not answered at all. It appears that I may have seen this option for the Adelaide Hotel - instead of Perth.

Staff were friendly & helpful. Nice old building, well maintained. The pub/restaurant nicer than the accommodation which was basic but comfortable. Nice pool which we made good use of as it was very hot when we were there. Nice meals in the outdoor restaurant, the mist sprays very welcome to help keep it a bit cooler. No breakfast options, but nice cafes close by. Good location in the centre of town, close to restaurants etc. Not a good place to stay if you want a good night’s sleep though, it’s right under the flight path & aircraft noise is a problem.

Loved our welcoming from reception, greeted us with a smile and check in was simple smooth and quick. Car park right out front of room Bed was very comfy and king size Room was very spacious, clean and functional The best blackout blinds Lovely cool room with great aircon and fan Shower had great water pressure and water stayed hot TV was in perfect spot to relax and enjoy a movie Outdoor setting for 2 to sit have a beer view of pool Pool was great size lovely gardens and water fountain

Bees , quite a few bees on the grass of pool area and in the pool( my partner is anaphylactic) maybe put a sign up for those that are allergic

Clean and comfortable rooms with parking right next to them. Beautiful buildings and the nicest beer garden. Lovely area with a rich history and lots of trees. Little cafes over the road with good breakfast menus. It's a lovely area to go for a stroll and browse through the shops that aren't too far away.

The shower rose was a bit blocked, and the shower curtain was too close. But it's a minor detail compared to all of the good stuff.

The Staff were amazing and the facilities were exceptional. We asked about the history of the Rose and Crown as we read about it in our room and the receptionist didn't know, so this lovely woman took us on a tour to find out. It was more than we expected. The staff, food and service in the restaurant was one of the best I have had, wine selection and food was amazing. We loved the history of the area and loved walking around reading all the interesting history plaques, lining the streets and the cafes across the road were an amazing breakfast option and very reasonably priced. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and intend on going back next time I am in Perth. Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

The room was very clean and well maintained. It had a great shower! The staff were friendly. The location is charming with plenty of places to eat that are within easy walking distance. The beer garden next door with a nice big firepit is a delight, and the meals we had there were very tasty. The place has a historic charm that we enjoyed very much. Walking down the nearby street and meandering through the secondhand stores was a lovely way to while away a morning, as was the nearby historic buildings.

The only fault we found with the room was seating. It would have been nice to have 2 chairs and a small round table in the corner, as well as or instead of the desk and single chair. But it is a small thing of not great importance. The other thing is their claim to being the oldest pub in WA. I believe it should be revised to second oldest. Unless there is some play on words I'm unaware of. In Albany there is a pub on the mainstreet which according to the Albany Historical Society was built in 1835 called the Albany Hotel, that is 6 years before the Rose and Crown.

Proximity to the airport was great. Ability to eat within the property was terrific & there was a bottle shop 100m down the road to buy a room nightcap. The staff at the bar & restaurant (especially the Restaurant Manager) were exceptional & the food delicious. The historic property had great appeal & was maintained/rennovated beautifally.

We expected some aircraft noise, but felt like we were directly under the flight path & unfortunately the rooms were not soundproof at all - very noisy - rumbling trains during the night (track close), Aircraft taking off/landing woke us very early, loudly idling truck parked near room in the morning for a reasonable period, whipper snipper/blower? humming away for a long time.

The property was absolutely gorgeous , from the moment we arrived the staff were wonderful. The room was excellent as well. Everywhere I went on the property either in the room or restaurant it was exceptional in presentation and cleanliness. To the kitchen staff the food was 5 stars all the way through to the table service as well. Thanks again for a wonderful dinner and stay and we will be back again…

Nothing bad about to report but maybe a little bit more steak/ meat dishes on the dinner menu but it’s a minor issue. Just keep doing what you guys are doing it’s a wonderful venue..

To come and have a meal in one of our favourite places and then retire to our comfortable room

We appreciate that staff have to start work but there was a lot of noise which woke us up early morning. Also appreciate that everyone doesn't have a weekend off after a week of work and the show must go on. Likely have to reconsider a stay location if we are looking to catch up on some rest Saturday mornings after a big week of work and travel.
