I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. I arrived late, so the keys to the room were left there for me. I did a smooth check-in the next morning. The room that I stayed in was just right to fit 6 beds and a little bit of walking space. Still, it didn't feel too crammed. The other guests at the hostel were nice and the general vibe of the place was peaceful and clean. Lockers were provided. Fantastic location.

On arrival you are asked to make the bed by yourself. This in itself is not an issue. What made it a bit problematic was that I arrived in the night and had to juggle with a torch and bedsheets in the dark. This was a bit annoying for the other guest sleeping in the room at the time. Since my late arrival had been already communicated, it would have been helpful if they had been already placed. Not a huge negative, but worth mentioning as potential improvement!

I really appreciated the use of coded door access and the flexible after-hours check-in and check-out policy. These thoughtful features make this hostel one of the best I’ve stayed in.

The room I stayed in had an AC unit directly above my bed, which made me wonder why the heating was on during summer. It would also be great if they added individual bedside lighting for each bed to make nighttime more convenient.

Very convenient location in the heart of the city. Great communication (they were quick to advise a solution for arrivals after 11pm). Hostel was quite in the night and morning. You can hear some noise from other rooms, but it wasn’t bad. Our bed in the room we stayed in was pretty damn squeaky - noisey when getting in and out for a midnight wee. Breakfast was simple (cornflakes or Oats) but it did the trick. Staff was friendly. Aircon in the rooms was good, keeping the room tolerable whilst Perth had a heatwave. Checkin and checkout were super simple. We’d stay again

The staff was super friendly and always willing to help. The atmosphere is great for meeting new people, as guests are constantly rotating , unlike other places where long-term stays create closed-off groups. Bathrooms and rooms were clean, and the location is very convenient, close to the city center.

The location of this backpackers is execeptional, this is actually situated in front of the Police station, so you are sure that your stay with them is safe. Facility are wondeful, tho i did not got a chance to roam around but by just looking at the reception, you have a 360 view of the entire floor, it was clean spacious and all of the guest was amazing. The bed is really comfortable, ive rented a private room, it was clean very spacious and private, socket near the bed and mirror with study table, chair and drawer. Linens smells good, you wouldnt know that there was someone sleeping in the bed before you, they prepare the room just like the expensive hotel around perth. Reception and staff are amazing and wonderful people, you can check-in late and the hotline is still available even if its late, but dont be so late to check in, as the staff still need to rest too, so better to check in early to avoid hassle. Over all it was a lovely stay and i enjoyed it, will stay here again. Thanks Qoukka youre awesome!

It was a really good hostel to stay in. Police station was right across the road. Staff were really nice and friendly especially San. Place was well kept and cleaned by staff on a regular basis (based on what I observed). Toilets and Shower facilities were clean and I didn't really have to fight with other guests to use them - everyone has varying routines! Aircon was nice and good for me during my stay - good to beat the summer heat outside. Very convenient location which was near Perth station, bank and other amenities (about a 5-10 min walk away).

I think the problem with hostels is always the other guests. They weren't the best at keeping quiet at odd hours or cleaning the common spaces. There weren't a lot of spaces to keep food in the fridge or the cubbies, I suspect there are a lot of guests who stay there long-term or are FIFO. But if you are patient you will find enough space eventually. 1 Staff did start vacuuming at 7am which was annoying but that happened once during my week long stay. But overall a really nice hostel, wouldn't mind staying there again.

Location was amazing and the staff was friendly. I wish our room had had a window but that's my only complaint, everything else was great and we would stay there again.

The mattress in the house is very soft, and the roommates are very friendly. I like to chat with everyone. There is a big kitchen, although I don't cook much. The overall environment is very good, I have a very pleasant week here.

The toilets are a bit dated but serviceable.

The people were friendly best place to stay it's quite. People are respectfully no noise after 10pm no party's or silly people. Very nice environment. Must stay.

It's cold place.

Room size was great, a lot of place to store and big enough to comfortably open your suitcase. Bathrooms/restrooms were very tidy, every morning they were cleaned extensively. Beds were okay, except my mattress had a massive pit.

Breakfast only was some budget cereal with with, and coffee/tea, that's it. Was expecting just a bit more.
