Safe Sanctuary for solo ladies of all age's. Superb atmosphere with a family type feeling, I enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the garden to the respectful manner of the home. Amazing smells of all types of multicultural foods waft from the kitchen and the pleasure of dining alongside joyful people sharing meals together chatting gleefully of places they've been and those not yet seen 🤗 The historical building has halls full of stories and walls built strong and sturdy. I enjoyed hearing the original floors creaking under foot, also as others walk by. Out of all the places I could stay this is my first choice for sanctuary any day!

Safe for solo female travelers! 24/7 Friendly approachable staff members! Clean and comfortable dorms, living, dining and kitchen area. Clean and fresh bathroom's 👌. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay. I had both private and dorm rooms. All were fresh clean and comfortable. The respectful bustle of people in the kitchen and dining areas was a delight, with friendly staff members on hand to help in anyway. I was impressed with historic building and amazing atmosphere at all times during my 3 week stay. I felt entirely safe as a solo female guest not only via staff, also other travelers staying at this establishment. It is indeed a backpacker's with an awesome friendly atmosphere and look forward to staying again.

I'm living in Perth since 3 years and it's the best hostel I found in Perth. Beds are good, the kitchen is big and you have a lot of kitchen stuff if you compare to the rest of the hostels in Perth. The staff cleans as much as possible. They are not responsable if someone is not respectful. You have a few freezers and fridges to stock your food. Commons areas are a good place to meet new people ! Just be aware it can noisy especially the weekend because you are located in Northridge. The rapport price quality is unbeatable.

The staff on duty during check in and check out were amazing, really friendly and helpful. The other staff member on duty in the evening was a big grumpy, but I guess he has a difficult job. Overall I was very impressed with the staff. My single room was clean. I stayed on a weeknight and there was no problem with noise, other guests were respectful. Great value for money.

Given that it's a big, busy hostel in the centre of the city it was pretty tidy, though not perfect.

Other residents/backpackers were ALL very nice n respectful 😃 The location is brilliant!! The reception staff are exceptional 😊 And the rooms are all very nice and clean..the beds and linen were just soo relaxing and completely comfortable 🌟

Bathroom/toilet facilities not up to scratch..broken taps,with a few 'out of order' stalls..also the kitchen and dining areas weren't very clean..but it was mainly up to the residents to keep clean ~ There were signs everywhere to all residents explaining cleanliness through..so this is no fault of the staff of Brittania on William(whom are extremely exceptional).

the general friendliness of the staff and other residents was most refreshing.....in a hotel, you rarely talk to other guests. The price for accommodations in the heart of downtown Northbridge was great. The common areas were nice to have

The rooms need a bench for luggage at the very least. A few hooks in the wall to hang towels or clothes would also be easy and most appreciated.

The location was great! It's a bit more of a social hostel, seems perth really likes quiet hostels, but this is middle ground. There is ample toilets and showers in the building. Relatively cheap single rooms, I got a double bed shared bathroom for $84 which is affordable. Honestly if they had space and long term storage I'd probably move to this hostel.

No air-conditioning in the room.

- Fantastic location just a few minutes walk from Perth CBD. - Private room was clean and comfortable. - Lots of toilets and showers available over both floors of accommodation. - Overall very good value for money.

- First hostel I’ve ever stayed in where towels weren’t automatically included with a private room. - Similarly we had to take the bed sheets off when we checked out, which for a private room I find strange. - The communal kitchen area was huge but always full and always highly unclean.

Staff very friendly and professional. Whenever I had a question they would help. Location (Northbridge) convenient. 5 mins from CBD. Single room (street-facing) was relatively quiet. I could not hear anyone in the rooms beside me. Bathrooms were empty most of the time I never had to wait my turn. The showers were separated for each person allowing for privacy. There was space to hang your clothes, towel and a shelf to put your toiletries. Bathrooms separated between men and woman. Plenty of social areas. However I noticed that many older people and workers are renting out rooms long term here so it is not really a party hostel but somewhere where people are actually living. Places to hang laundry Vending machines. Sim cards. Overall this is a decent hostel and I would definitely stay here again.

Bathrooms could have been cleaned more regularly. Wooden flooring very squeaky and loud. A carpet would deafen these noises. Although not the fault of the hostel, there are alot of homeless people and drug addicts right outside the hostel. A few have tried to enter the hostel which is a security concern. The rent has just increased quite considerably at the hostel. Single room was small for what I paid for. The laundry machine was deficient.

Located right in the town centre. You can walk everywhere from there. Our room was a decent size and had a fan which helped cooling down the hot environment. Staff really cares about keeping the place clean and they give it a good clean every morning. Staff at the desk is kind and helpful. The garden is amazing and it’s the place where everyone gathers at night to have a chat. There is a lovely quiet area upstairs, a big tv room with comfy sofas and enough space in the kitchen for everyone.

Customers in the hostel can be very nasty and do not wash their plates etc…staff cleans and tries to keep the place clean but some customers are inconsiderate.
