Everything I needed was available and Amy who was in charge was extremely efficient, friendly and helpful and made my stays (10 days in total) over two and half weeks) as I had a few trips booked a very pleasant time. I felt safe there as an older woman alone as security was excellent and the many backpackers there mostly from Europe were polite, respectful and helpful. Their rules encourage good behaviour.

Convenient location a couple of minutes walk from the main train station and the central mall. Room was basic but clean and it had all the things someone might need for a comfortable stay. Lovely large public lounge area and kitchen where you can make a cuppa or heat up some food. There was also a small balcony which was a good place to sit and watch the early-morning commuters. Manager was very accommodating, allowing me to leave my luggage at the hotel through the day as I had a late flight. I also had use of the lounge and kitchen after checkout, which was very much appreciated. I had a single room, which I felt was generous in size and noise-free. Good value for money if you need somewhere inexpensive to stay.

There was nothing that I didn't like, although a TV in the room might have been appreciated.

A quiet room in a beautiful old interior right in the city centre opposite the railway station. Our room was a clean, very clean large unit equipped with ensuite, tv, mwave fridge. It is a spacious backpackers with shared full kitchen and large lounge, and interesting folk for conversation. Characterful with many wallpics. Great staff, very helpful.

Really trivial: Limited access to book in when arriving on a late flight. The security door on entry. Completely necessary for our safety in the city centre here.

5 minutes walk to woolworths and train station, and a lot of restaurant nearby. You can buy a day rider/family rider to take bus and train. The staffs are friendly and the bed is comfy

No toiletries provided. Most rooms are upstairs, it is not so convenient if you are with big heavy luggage. Maybe could request for room at ground level next stay

Great location and excellent value for money with shared amenities - including fridge, cutlery and place for cooking. Shared bathroom and toilets were clean. Pleasant hostel atmosphere.

The building and rooms show their age, with my room having a slight odor and a dusty ceiling fan. However, it was equipped with all the essentials: a bed, desk, chair, lamp, power outlet, mirror, and a space to hang clothes. Rooms require stairs for access.

Central location; good price; comfortable 4-bed dorm; space for food; option to freely store bag before official check in and after check out.

Messy backpackers who do not wipe up their food prep or dinning surfaces, or clean and dry all their dishes. No wine glasses.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and cosy. The location was fantastic. The staff were very considerate and conscious of patron safety. Very interesting old building right in the heart of the city I really appreciated the excellent communication as my plane was delayed +++ and I was met at the door by a welcoming face very late in the night. Of course, there was some street noise as the location is city central. The location is sandwiched between restaurants and bars, with the main train station across the road and a major hospital and ambulance dispatch down the road

The room was fantastic value for a room with its own bathroom! The location was quiet, the kitchen was well equipped, the breakfast was convenient, and the staff were great.

The room got a little stuffy, I didn't want to open the window because people used the area outside to smoke.

The staff worked really hard to keep the property clean everyday. Lots of common areas for people to hang around. Loved the 10000 piece puzzle in the quiet room. It helps to disconnect from screens and engage into conversations with fellow backpackers.

For the price I paid, I really can't falter anything.
