The bed was very comfortable

The room was very cold and the heater could not be turned on (the counter attendant said that the room temperature needed to be below 10 degrees before the heater would start). But this temperature was too cold for Asians in hot areas. I had to wear thick clothes and cover myself with two quilts in the room. The room is not soundproofed well, and you can hear the construction noise outside early in the morning. Also, on weekends, someone played loud music outside, and you can hear it in the room

Clean and modern hostel with smaller dorms (I stayed in 4 bed, female only, ensuite) with linen and towels provided and daily cleaning. As far as the rooms went, very good for a hostel; quiet and perfect temperature. It's pretty good quality for a busy city hostel and just a short walk to railway station.

The public areas lack natural light and tend to be cold (vicious a/c). There are private little nooks for relaxing or working but it's like being in permanent night time. There's no real outside space either so it's a bit of a prison. The kitchen is a disaster - no oven or hob, just a couple of air fryers (ever cooked pasta and sauce in an air fryer?) and no storage space aside from fridges, which are completely rammed with everyone's entire food supply. No tea, coffee supplied, or even mugs! For this reason, the hostel is overpriced and one of the most expensive I've ever stayed at

Stayed in a double room, beds were comfy and linens and towels were lovely. Showers are really nice, and also very clean. Common areas are well designed and spacious, loads of seating, sofas, tables, etc. Staff were friendly and smiley :)

Mainly the kitchen; no hobs or ovens make it hard to make food beyond toasties or microwave meals. Also the luggage storage is an open area with no locks or security so felt a bit unsafe leaving our belongings there before we could check in. Just something to be aware of. Also, a smaller gripe but a bit annoying that the double bed in our double room was actually two singles pushed together, the beds kept slipping apart leaving a big gap between them, not the best for couples travelling. Overall found it too expensive for what it was.

It's a really nice hostel! The checkin was very uncomplicated and the staff helpful. I could check in half an hour before the given time. The room was clean and cozy (I was in the 4 bed women only room). It had air conditioning. I asked for a hair dryer and they gave me a good one. The shared space was amazing! There is a really cool bar in the middle of the main room. A lot of seating possibilities, for working or chilling, whatever you need. I even saw a beamer, a shared kitchen, pool table, drink water. I was there for one night only so I couldn't try anything, but it would have been nice! A big + ist the bar called Let's go Lee's, right next to the hostel. The brunch and the coffee are very tasty.

It would be nice if upon checking in the staff would share general information (maybe with a flyer) about the shared spaces. When does the bar close and open? Is there a program for the beamer, like movie nights? Are there cool events in the hostel and in Perth in that week? But I also could have asked, so it's a not a big problem :) In the room it would have been nice to have hand soap and showering gel. I usually don't take those with me while traveling. Not a must though :) I had a really nice experience nonetheless.

The location is great and just a few steps from the train station in the CBD. They have a bar/cafe inside the hostel and many entertainment options for the guests, in a huge space. The space near the beds with socks is very helpful.

The bunk beds make excessive iron noise, making it hard to sleep in a shared room. They also give you your bedsheets during check-in, meaning that you need to pace it in the bed alone. Considering that you can arrive late, when other roomies are sleeping this becomes a mess as it's not that easy.

The place has a lot to offer. There’s plenty of public space and a bar- cafe for morning coffee and toasters. My dorm room was a bit small but quiet and private bathroom. easy check in even if coming late- though I do believe beds should be made and ready by staff.

I have a disability with my arm and requested a bottom bed- but they only do first come-serve. it could be managed- as beds are lettered. Moreso the kitchen area needs much improvement. It’s not managed well - needs proper signage, introduction of use of space by staff at check-in l. more so-equipment-needed stove top and pots for cooking , paper towels, cups — the fridges have too much in them - staff needs to maintain and guests needs to be more respectful to give space for others.

The rooms are just like the photos and the common areas are sooo nice.

Asking a member of staff when to expect a refund in my account. I thought I'd get a professional answer, something like "2 to 5 business days" but no. I got treated like a complete idiot instead. "Well I don't run the banks, do I? I don't know what bank you're with, what branch you're with or how long a refund would take. Do you think I'm manually transferring the money? Do you really think I'm the one in charge of when the money leaves our hostel and when it lands in your account?" ...the horrible sarcasm went on for a good 2 minutes while 3 others waited in line behind me. Appalling, really. Just be kind, young lady. You have no idea what I went through to ask.

It seems to be a big hostel but it is still quiet. There is a big lounge where you can sit and relax or meet others or do your work. The 4 bed room is big enough and you have your own little space around your bed. In the public area all is clean. To the supermarket it is 5min by foot, to the CAT bus station 5min from where you can drive into the city or to the jetty. To the train station where you arrive from the airport it is 8 to 10min. The breakfast is very simple, toasty or banana bread with each coffee you like. Very nice hostel!

Check-in was easy and uncomplicated, the hostel was very clean and looked after. Beds were clean and comfy with extras like bed lights and storage. It is great that they have a bar and some food in the lobby, as well as a pool table and enough room to sit, eat and study or research or even just to relax. Unfortunately one of my room-"mates" was a bit of a pain, slamming doors at 2am, eating his crisps on the bed and waking up half of the room. Security and reception dealt with the situation as well as possible at that time and I got a different room.

Dickhead in the room, but not the hostels fault.

1). Kitchen. Tidy and clean enough. Better if more facilities are equipped to support the guests to cook their foods to pay lees for eating out (given that living costs in Perth are very expensive) 2). Laundry. Excellent 3). Room, e.g., 4 bunkbed room. Spacious enough.

1) Bedroom-related activities. I was told by the hostel that the so-called "which room / which bed" is randomly allocated/arranged by the hostel system. Bad luck if room mates have so many activities such as using cell phone at night. This is really a problem. 2). There are so many young people from France who came to Australia with "working holiday visa". They were "randomly" allocated to the same room. Therefore, the room I stayed (April 15-22, 2024) look like their own room. They brought their friends to the room at their own decisions.
