Great places to go hide when you needed some alone time, The showers and toilets were amazing, could have been a few more but almost never a queue. Waaaay better than most hostels! The room had a weird strong smell which made it difficult to sleep and I would have loved for it to be closer to nature but you can't have everything you want. Would have stayed longer if it was closer to nature but overall a great experience!

Excellent atmosphere. Finally a hostel in australia that feels like home. Lots of long term guests so it really feels like a big shared house. Cleaned everyday. Beds are comfy and people are usually respectful of others sleeping, even in the 28 beds dorm! Big kitchen and lots of shared spices and ingredients. Lots of chilling areas that go from quiet if you need to work on your laptop or rest, to more social if you want to easily make friends.

Room comfy and clean. Air conditioning very good. Friendly staff very helpful and nice.

Minor issue with toilets and showers. e.g. not quite enough. The one I had next to room 11 was really nice. Unfortunately it was under maintenance during last few days and the others available were not very nice.

I had a great stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was really nice and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and kind, always ready to help. The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk from the city center. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town!

I like the location. Easy excess to the city and the airport.

I don't comment this as every thing that I see in the hostel like beddings, shower rooms, toilets , dinning room and the rest areas are all good 👍.

Female Dorms Tidy. Bunk beds but what I expected and comfortable sleeps. Helpful staff members. always cleaning happening. You could socialize if you wanted and you could keep to yourself if you wanted. Great Stay thankyou.

Possibly couple more microwaves, and Hot water Jug so you not over each other as much. Maintance as in Tidy up the walls in Female dorm(as one bunk has a hole by it) Wifi in room was patchy.

I like the facilities and location. It's very ideal location for the city, bus stops and train stations.

Didn't think of anything. Just require a mirror upstairs, rooms 8 and 9 toilet and shower room. Otherwise, everything is fantastic.

The Hive is a backpackers' hostel and as such was good. The guy at Reception was very helpful. He let me leave my bag in the office until checkin time and after I checked out. I found a good book to read in the pile of free stuff. Very convenient location, just a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. And I had a private room with shared bath. So as Hostels go it was very good.

It was a bit noisy after 10 pm when I expected it to be quieter. It's an old house so it didn't always look clean, but it wasnt dirty. I recommend getting the private room because the bunk rooms looked very small. sometimes people left their bags in the hallway.

The hostel is excellent . It's an ideal location for the city centre and it is easy to get a train and bus to the airport and other stuff.

Great atmosphere and social vibe. Everyone is friendly and make you feel at home. Lots of places to chill and hang out or work on your laptop. Kitchen is big and clean and there’s everything you need to cook. Great location near CBD.
