Cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at! They clean bathrooms and kitchen multiple times per day. The beds are super comfortable and you get two good pillows. Beautiful outside area to lounge and make friends. Good location, around the corner from a busstop and 15min walk to the train station and CBD.

Beds could use individual reading lamps Towel not included. The dryers don't work properly. You need 2 cycles to get your laundry dry and it costs $4 per round. Some available kitchen staples (oil, salt) would've been nice. No grocery store nearby.

Kind staffs and everything the hostel provided was satisfying

Hostel was perfect. Only things that bothered me were the roommates. One guy in my room sprayed perfume on him when he was getting ready to go out, and the scent was too strong it affected the whole room(i mean it’s a small room). To the point it made me feel dizzy. Maybe putting a sign for being mindful of others and using no perfume in the room would be a good idea. And the other guy who slept on top of my bed always spoke on his phone loudly in the room… and every time he moved on the bed his movement was so big that my bed wobbled a lot. Sometimes it was uncomfortable to sleep at night. I felt some people could have been more mindful of others if possible.

Excellent location, just one block from the Blue CAT stop. Very friendly and helpful welcome, carrying my bag up for me as I have mobility disabilities. 4-bed female dorm excellent - very clean and sheets changed every 2 days, large luggage storage boxes for each bed. Shower facilities kept immaculately clean (cleaned 4x per day apparently), showers water hot and strong. Kitchen area very clean and large,, individual storage boxes for dry foods, very large fridges and freezers available. Lounge area attached - huge sofas and padded benches to use - never crowded. Outside area under cover has benches and tables. Air conditioning or fans keeps the inside lovely and cool. Overall a fabulous place to stay and highly recommended

I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else in Perth. This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in by far. The staff are friendly, including the manager (Cam) who makes an effort to interact with guests. I was welcomed by a lovely staff member Mary-Lou who was accommodating and made me feel at home within 30 mins of arriving. There is constantly a staff member with a vacuum attached to their back so the place is immaculate. The communal spaces are great - there’s a huge sofa, outdoor seating and beds, and the atmosphere makes you look forward to spending time in the communal spaces.

The hostel is in a really good position to explore the city. It is really easy to take the bus to the busport, or walk 20 min to the busport. The 6-female dorm room is big. Every bed has normal and USB charging ports, and two shelves to put away your stuff. I really appreciated the desk with the mirror, perfect to get ready in the morning. The rooms could be even better if you had a small bedside lamp and privacy curtains on every bed. The staff is really welcoming.

There is no window on the bathroom and the exhaust fan on the ceiling was full of lint. Hence the showers and bathrooms are always humid

Had a short stay at this hostel and I love how organised everything is. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, food storage, and the living rooms. The staff at the reception are friendly and very helpful, the guy even helped to carry my luggage to the first floor (thank you!). The room has a decent size, every bed comes with a storage area and locker on the sides, and it's own set of power plugs. The female room and bathrooms are clean, well taken care of, and there's also complimentary body wash in the showers and hair dryer. The kitchen has all the essentials, great for preparing meals, and even has a coffeemaker. There's plenty of space to sit and chill, everyone is so respectful. The wi-fi works well and the location is also good; easy to navigate if you're using the bus, it's only just one ride away from Perth station/airport line. For Muslims, the hostel is also about 300m from the mosque for a quick visit or prayers.

Nothing to complain

The hostel is conveniently located near a stop of the blue cat which can bring tourists to many attractions. The front gate provide a sense of security. The luggage storage service is very convenient. The bathroom is clean, but it would be better if there were a designated place or shower curtain in the stall to keep clothes from getting splashed with water. The common lounge is spacious, and the sofas are comfortable. The kitchen is spacious as well, and the storage wall beside it provides individual baskets for storing personal food and dishes, no need to spend time looking for space, love it a lot ♥

Spinners Hostel was a great place to stay—clean, friendly, and full of opportunities to meet people. The staff was helpful, the kitchen was well-equipped for both serious cooks and casual snackers, and the rooms stayed quiet at night, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. Ideally located. Close to the bus and train stations, great cafes and restaurants.

It would’ve been even better with some basic snacks or frozen food options available for guests, apart from the vending machine.

Friendly atmosphere, nice & welcoming staff. Kitchen facilities really good, bed was comfortable and clean, and there was adequate space to store belongings. They have padlocks in case your own doesn’t fit the storage locker as mine didn’t. Felt pretty safe.

Like all hostels and sharing spaces can just depend who you end up in a room with, nothing bad about the property but just an awareness of this. Even though we were given keys for the room, the room never seemed to be locked, probably because of the people coming and going often.

Great vibe in the kitchen, beds were so comfy (comfiest I’ve ever had in a hostel), incredible kitchen facilities and lounge area was so homely and comfortable. I came back here 4/5 times over 2 weeks because I loved it there, just a shame it kept booking out! Everyone was so lovely, including the staff

Not enough bathroom space at all for the whole hostel so cramped when there was 4 people in there Bleach was used to mop the floors a lot - didn’t really enjoy breathing in those fumes all the time. Nowhere to fill up water bottle? I used the kitchen taps but it did not taste right so ended up not drinking water from there
