Large room in quiet area with balcony.Well furnished and with plenty of electrical sockets. Quiet surroundings. Only 5 minutes drive off our motorway route between Germany and Slovenia. Plenty of parking and accessible for our campervan.

We had a few minutes wait after ringing the reception bell before the owner arrived from another building. Otherwise it was an excellent stay. We booked because there was a discount offered at the time of booking - the full price was higher than we would normally pay for an overnight stop.

We were traveling to meet family at various locations outside Salzburg and it made sense for us to stay in Hallein and for us this was the perfect trade off of location and comfort vs price and service. Check in was fast and easy and the proprietor was friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful and rural, despite its proximity to Salzburg.

It was a bit like stepping out of a time machine and walking into a pension in 1982, but the fixtures and furnishings must have been well-made because they are still holding up well. It would be nice to have better lighting in the bathroom, but that is a small thing.

Everything was great, the owner was super sweet, our room had lovely view, the pool was very nice, and so was the possibility to sunbath near it. Breakfast was big, tasty and we had lots of choices, area was quiet but not that far from the town center. Everything was clean, parking was no problem.

The only thing I would improve is lenght of a bed but i am 192cm, so most beds are like this to me when they have headboards.

First of all, the staff was great. Breakfast was very good. It was wonderful way to start our day after such breakfast. Both rooms were nice and clean. The view from the rooms was great and lovely. Parking area was just near the building. The pool is nice though it was rainy and the water were freezing, but in a good way.

Nothing. But... We would be happy if we had a little fridge in the room :-)

The pension is at a very nice peaceful location, but still close to the city and Salzburg. The owner is extremely kind and caring, the breakfast was very tasty and sufficient with fresh bakery products and homemade cake.. The rooms are clean and everything is working as expected, it was nice warm in the room. Authentic traditional Austrian hosts. Who prefers this approach, will definitely enjoy it.

Mattress is on the softer side, so people who prefer hard mattress, might not get a good sleep Wifi code was not shared with us upon arrival, but we could use our own mobile data

The host was very friendly and the beds were comfortable. It was near a small village and shop and gas station were just nearby. Also main attraction such as icecave was very close and Salzburg itself.

Breakfast was simple - croissant and ham/jam/nutella. Boiled egg and basically that’s all. Would have preferred scramvled eggs of something like that but all in all okay.

Very welcoming host. Close to motorway - which is good - but at the same time our garden-looking room was quiet. The breakfast was very good, especially the freshly baked pastries. Good heating (we visited in January). Good value for money.

The furniture and bathroom are somewhat dated (but functional). Not a problem for us! Also remember to bring your own soap. Of course a kettle/tea kit in the room would be nice, but after all at this price range compromises are to be expected. WiFi somewhat slow but usable.

Amazing views thru the balcony/ loggia. Comfortable room layout - more than enough room for 3-4 people in the double room. Possibility to wash clothes for decent price.

Beds with high wooden framework, gives a little bit of discomfort when sitting on the edge.

The kindness of the hostess is what makes your living even better. She loves what she is doing and that makes your day and your stay in this pension. The breakfast was very good in a very cosy environment with a view at the green fields and the mountains. If anything wrong happens the hostess is there with kindness to solve it.

Nice location, Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. I would definitely return, it was a beautiful area outside of Salzburg and easy access to Eagles Nest. Was very clean.
