It is time to come up with a new rating system for hotels like Neuwirt. Five stars do not capture the uniqueness and perfection of this place which is newly renovated keeping with the authentic style of the region while also providing modern comforts. The old part of the building provides newly renovated simply designed rooms with the most luxurious beds. The rooms in the new part are uniquely designed each offering an unbelievable living experience. Our room had a sauna (which we did not use) and a bathroom with a shower that could fit 6 people. The beds are placed in a way that allows to look out the large patio doors to see the sky. The new rooms have a quiet AC, but we did not use it and opened our doors instead. The best way to describe our experience is to say that we forgot we were in a hotel. We felt home. We loved the restaurant which serves typical meat heavy Austrian food. Delicious.

Every aspect, from daily cleanliness to the overall service is maintained to an outstanding level. The staff provides exceptional service, making you feel welcome and at home from the moment you arrive. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality and professionalisme truly stand out! The quality of the breakfast and the food in the restaurant, which we visited several times, surpasses our expectations. It offers great value for money. We will return on our next visit to Salzburg. This was a beautiful place to stay, we picked it last minute as an overnight stop, the look of the hotel was amazing, there was parking out the front, but the hotel parking was to the back of the property. From the car to the hotel there was a garden, this had been landscaped beautifully, I took many photos to give me some ideas for my garden. The reception was just off the garden and you could find someone to help you in the bar at the front, very friendly staff, really helpful, quick to check in and get to the room, we unpacked and went downstairs to the bar, for a coffee, we sat there for a couple of hours till we were ready to eat, the food was amazing we were stuffed by the end. The room was comfortable when we got back to it but a few hours later we both woke up really hot, the only way to cool the room was to open the door to the balcony, this meant we could hear the road noise, though not much, then the church bells at 6am this was pleasant, the shower was really good, had a good water pressure, the breakfast was a buffet with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice brought to the table, we were also given the option of cooked eggs. Check out was good with everyone being so nice, I would definitely stay there again if travelling this way to Italy.

The location is amazing!!! Bad Vigaun is an amazing place to stay in and have a great morning walk/jog or workout. The view from the room is breathtaking, you won't want to leave. The hotel design is unique, very elegant and luxurious. We stayed at the junior suite, it is big, has a great balcony to sit in and just enjoy the view. The staff a so helpful and welcoming. I like the close parking spaces just to go through the check-in process, though the regular parking lot is a few steps from the reception. Highly recommended!!

liked the ambiance of the hotel and the breakfast room. Very tasteful and pleasing .Enjoyed the view from the balcony ,especially listening to the local music band the church bell ringing and observing the troop in uniform shooting with their rifles .

Breakfast is more than perfect! You can choose from the table and you can get hot breakfast eg. fried eggs, scrambed eggs for order also fresh orange juice if you like. You can eat dinner a la carte' for dinner. Very nice hosts, you can reach easily lots of places, like valley tour, waterfall, lifts, salt cave, Könnersee. Close to Salzburg, so I highly recommended everyone to choose this hotel!

Stunning renovated Gasthaus - like a a designer hotel. They married the old and new beautifully! The rooms are modern and I believe all of them have a balcony. Downstairs is a restaurant with a gorgeous terrace in the summer. Plenty of parking. It is about 20 - 30 minutes to Salzburg centre. It is family run and all the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful.

The restaurant and building itself were super cute! We booked last minute (day of) and the two of + dog were welcomed wholeheartedly. Town ended up cute for one night. The STAFF were incredible. Just sooo lovely

Honestly it was so hot. No fan or AC and we both had to sleep with wet towels under our necks. I considered putting some blankets out on the balcony to go sleep there. No fridge either, no outlets by the bedside. The fridge is no problem obv I just didn’t pay attention to that We did order the most basic room but we had booked a hotel to stop doing a camper van for a night and it may have been my worst sleep of the trip yet due to the heat (it was a hot night but wow the room was hot.

Very clean throughout the hotel and room with nice Mountain View; very good breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice; parking is easy and spacious; hotel provided free train ticket for a round trip to Salzburg - nice and comfortable public transportation. Receptionist Sigrid is warm and responsive. Internet is very good.

The hotel staff was absolutely brilliant and helped us with everything we needed Rooms are excellent, service in hotel cleaning perfect. The restaurant of the hotel serves delicious meals, also with kids menu and the service us exceptional. Garage parking avaliable, avoiding snow cover during the night.
