Great location near the salt mines and a short train ride away from Salzburg: the hotel provides you with the train tickets and the train station us just across the street. The hotel is entirely renovated, clean, very kind staff and a restaurant and bar with a great atmosphere. Breakfast was also very good with everything necessary. The room was spacious, comfortable, and with a very nice view. The spa is small but has all you need and is opened upon request. It was also a great experience. We hope to return soon!

The room design, the view from windows, the balcony which was divided in two (1 for the cold season, 1 for the warm season), the wellness area, the restaurant, the fact that wherever you went, there were pots filled with apples, full of taste and you could serve yourself at any time. The kids play ground. The nice/warm rest area at the reception. Everything in this hotel is thought out to the smallest detail. Behind the hotel is a train station and we had a connection to Salzburg every half hour. At the reception we received free tickets for public transport for the 3 days, for the whole family (2 adults+2 kids). We were completely pampered at this hotel. I definitely recommend it.

We loved the host who was so kind and helpful to us. The location was excellent, as the train station is right by the accommodation (1 min away) so it was very easy and convenient to go to Salzburg by train and not worry about the car and parking. We were also provided free train tickets by the hotel which was wonderful. The hotel itself is very cozy and warm and the breakfast was excellent.

Exceptionally kind and welcoming staff makes this family hotel stand out from the rest. Beautiful modern bedroom, uniquely designed. Superb food, locally sourced from their family farm. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in during our frequent journeys back and forth between England and Greece over the last 30 years. We will be back.

We loved how tastefully the traditional was combined with the modern. We stayed in a beautiful room on the ground floor, large, very comfortable and furnished with high quality furnishings. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast also. Wide variety of breakfast food provided all of an exceptional quality. Pet friendly and parking right outside of the hotel. It seemed like this is a family run establishment and staff were super kind and helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

Wonderful cozy hotel near Salzburg. We were with 3 kids, took a family room and it was very comfortable. Room view is truly amazing! The breakfast and restaurant are excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location makes it super easy to visit Salzburg and enjoy the city. We will definitely come back here;)

Superb place to find at late notice due to traffic delays heading to croatia needed a night stop off yo recharge From arrival and warm welcome to departure, everything was first class service. The food in the restaurant was amazing also

Exceptional property and family ownership... people just lovely and wonderful. Our third visit and we'll be back again. Our three generations family loved the amenities, modern facilities, the moss walls in the baths, farm setting and animals, the restaurant and the bar staff were wonderful and welcoming... amenities and breakfast were absolutely lovely! Loved meeting the Oma again!

This hotel is so inviting that you feel right at home the minute you enter. The staff are charming and welcoming, the room huge and very comfortable. I have already planned my next visit there!

The breakfast room is a little dark, but the breakfast was wonderful, especially the selection of artisan cheeses from a local producer.

Excellent breakfast, very nice restaurant as well (with all ingredients sourced from their own farm or nearby!). overall was a fantastic stay, nice rooms, excellent staff, who were very friendly.
