Located near Eagles Nest (10min drive by car), overall cozy hotel to stay at. Breakfast was good and even offered scrambled eggs with bacon slice. Reception lady was helpful, showed us local map with restaurant for dinner and closest tourist attractions.

I guess someone had peed in the bed prior our arrival as it was funky stinking in some parts and it was covered in plastic sheet under the bedsheet. It gave hot feeling while sleeping and was making sound while turning around. For 175€ I paid I don't think it's okay. Overall room was clean and cozy and if the bed would not be peed, I would probably put 9.5. One pillow was super small and the other was super big and couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep.

Large, really nice rooms, with balcony and a great mountain view. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. As for the host, Bavarian hospitality at its finest. We were a bit late due to traffic, but communication was excellent. We got the room, even received help on where to park, because the hotel was full. Bonus, after a very long drive, and being a bit late I could still savor a German beer from the bar. Much appreciated. Really kind, hard working people and a great hotel. 10/10

Alles gut.

we travelled 4 people with family and booked 2 rooms, we have requested two adjacent rooms with nice view, and we got exactly the same. The breakfast spread was good and we have enjoyed our overall stay. The best experience was with your hotel staff, they were super friendly and made our stay more enjoyable.

One day it was pretty hot, the temperature was high, so it was difficult to sleep. The next day after rain it became pleasant.

They were incredibly accommodating and the breakfast was wonderful. We were also thankful for the meal available for purchase in the evening. Waking up to the beautiful views of the mountains was exactly what I hoped it would be.

If you are relying on busses, this is not the most efficient spot to sightsee from just because of the bus schedule. However, it is easy to get to by bus. I highly recommend it if you have a car though!

This is the best hotel in Germany! The staff are so kind and helpful, the rooms are very clean and breakfast was exceptional. Shower is great, the bed is comfortable and the view from the balcony is incredible. The perfect location as a base for Eagles nest, Konigsee lake and close to shops and restaurants in town. I rarely give a perfect rating but this hotel is 10/10. We loved our stay and will return one day!

The staff here was exceptional, so very helpful to an English-only speaker. They helped me navigate the excursions I wanted to take using simply the bus and train schedules and saved me a lot of money by avoiding the expense of web-advised "guided tours." The room was exceptional, with a balcony that overlooked the "Eagles Nest" and Wetzmann mountains. The house's hospitality was superb, with the best breakfasts anywhere on our 3-week Germany/Austria journey. Breakfasts were excellent,; they even made us some "American" bacon & eggs, making my son feel right at home. If I am ever back in this region, I will stay with these fantastic folks!

The only downfall is that it is a bit of a trip from Berchtesgaden. It does require that you plan to catch the last bus out of Berchtesgaden which leaves around 6:15 - or hire a taxi (@25 euro). But all in all, if I am ever back in this region, I will stay with these amazing folks!

We had a great stay at this nice, cozy hotel. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location is excellent. Will return with children for sure. So much to explore in the near. Highly recommended!

The location is convenient and easy to access. The room is quiet, and the hotel staff are friendly and willing to assist. The room is comfortable and cozy. Breakfast is good, and every morning, travel information is provided, offering ideas on where to visit. We enjoyed our stay.

It's a bit pricely.

The room was spacious. The staff was very helpful, very accommodating and always friendly. We never felt like we were bothering them. The suggestions for our outings were perfect.

There was nothing we didn't like. We were very happy with everything.

The owners are extremely friendly, warm-hearted and accommodating. They gave us very good tips and information where to go to and all relevant information what we needed for going around. The room was very clean and spacious with a very nice view. Very nice and complete breakfast. Very nice staff... i can absolutely recommend this Hotel.
