The hotel and rooms are beautiful. There is a restaurant with amazing food. Less than 10 minutes from the Eagles Nest bus stop. Everyone working here was amazing, and they have a wonderful dog Lily. They are quick to respond to any requests. Parking is easy. Breakfast (hot and cold) is a spread of fresh breads, eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit, cereal, etc. They even gave a fresh Tulip for mother's day! I would absolutely recommend for any trip to Berchtesgarden.

The roads leading to the hotel and parking can be a bit tight. We had no issues in our Kia Sportage, but large cars may want to take it slow.

Hosts were great. Very welcoming and allowed us to change rooms. Loved room 15 which had a balcony and panoramic mountain views. Breakfast was good with two hot egg dishes (scrambled with cheese and over easy on a tomato slice). Each day there was a different fruit and pastry. On days when dinner is served, the menu is placed on the breakfast tables so that guests can decide whether they would like to dine. Several vegetarian options were available the night we had dinner. We enjoyed two very thin crust “pizzas” (can’t recall correct term), both of which were delicious. Enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the patio.

The staffs there are very nice. The food was also very good. The hotel is on a mountain. it is very good to stay for a few days and enjoy the peace there. But DO the trip by car. it is impossible to go there by publich transport. BTW, DONT trust google map to go there via the street "Mühlauer Freie". it is a very very very steep road. (>25 degree I believe) please, go there via the "Weißensteiner Weg"! that is much easier!

The staff was really nice and welcoming, the room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was filling and the dinning room was big. We ate dinner that was served with 5 star restaurant service.

The road to the hotel at night is pitch black and a bit complicated if you are not from the area, but not impossible to find. There is no fridge in the room but the hotel provide anything you need in the restaurant.

The scenery is very good and the breakfast is high quality. The owner is friendly and borrowed me a charger. You can mail the postcard in the hotel too. I love the decoration, especially the floral curtains.

It is not friendly with the traveller without a car. Only a bus which takes you to the hotel from the train station every hour. Also, the hotel is on the hillside, so it is a little bit exhausting to walk to the hotel from the bus stop.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our 3 weeks of travel. The rooms were a good size & the bathroom also. They also have numerous little extra amenities along with the soap they leave for you. There was a small patio. They have wonderful breakfasts and consider many country's eating habits on their menu. They have a wonderful outdoor covered seating area, but we weren't able to sit there because it was raining the 2 days we were there, but it is an excellent place to stay!

We were just disappointed in the weather, but still enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location, local hiking, good food, helpful staff

I was travelling by public transport. The bus schedule up to Oberau was limited but with some planning it all worked out.

The woners are very friendly and helpful. Very nice to Guest. The room is comfy and the bathroom is extremely new and clean. The lady woner is a great cook and the dinner is worth trying. The decorations are beautiful and the tables are arranged beautifully. The display of food is beautiful that I can't help taking a lot of pictures. I enjoyed my stay there a lot! If you travel by car, this is the best choice! If you travel by public transportation like me, pay attention to the bus table especially on weekends. In all, I had a great time there.

Really pretty cottage with tiny cute rooms served all needs for a short stay. Great view and panorama to the area from the attic room’s terrace. Great and rich breakfast served by really nice staff.

Parking is challenging when all the rooms are fully booked but the host solves nearly everything.

Alpenhotel Bergzauber beautiful, family-run hotel. With very warm, helpful and friendly owners who are passionate about running this hotel. Super clean, perfect breakfast and equally perfect dinner. The rooms are lovingly and comfortably furnished. Free Wi-Fi, free parking. 5 minutes to drive to Berchtesgaden. 10 minutes to drive to Königsee. 8 Minutes to drive to Kehlstein (Eagle Nest). I would recommend this hotel for short vacation.
