We had a really pleasant stay, hotel is just 3-4 mins away from Messe Prater U2 metro station. 8 mins away from Lidl if you need anything to buy for your stay. Nearby there are local cafes. The hotel is also next to Prater amusement park, just 2 mins on foot. Messe Prater is such a quiet, noise-free & safe area. I would definitely book again. In addition, room has also a small fridge (big +++ for our summer stay!). Room service every day.

Hotel says super high internet speed, but 4th floor’s internet was weak, at least not as super high as it promotes. There was also a problem with the bathroom sink (water was dripping down from the sink when you opened the tap) but they fixed it the next day after we told staff.

The hotel was great!! 1. Very close to the U1 and U2 making it super easy to get into the city. 2. It was quiet (no roller coaster screams coming from Prater) 3. Had a coffee machine, pods and sugar in the room. So didn't have to spend money downstairs getting coffee (there is an independent little store downstairs which is VERY expensive). 4. Also a hairdryer and a steamer in the room. Very convenient. 5. The staff was AMAZING!! Very friendly and helpful.

1. The pillows!!! They really need to invest in pillows. They really sucked. 2. The air-conditioning - just wasn't cooling. The last night, we literally had to crack open the window to get some cool air in.

In my recent stay in Austria, I compared Spark to other hotels and so I decided it was the best. I thank the management of Spark for choosing best people as receptionists because all of them are welcoming and smiling, which made our stay welcoming. I thank the receptionist both genders male and female, all were great from the moment you step in to the moment you leave the hotel they’re extremely helpful and smiling to all 👏🏻👏🏻. They know how to engage with the customers well of all ages and provide all necessary help and advice. (I don’t remember names but really it’s all of them (2 gentlemen during check in and one lady Asma or Esma) and 2 different ladies at checkout - all were fabulous honestly which is rare to find such consistency in the hotel industry. Keep it up, and I advise other hotels in Vienna to follow the same as Spark. The rating in Booking is high and it reflects the reality. Rooms are stylish and quiet, AC and heaters both are available (again I compare other hotels which ACs were hot). The View is good, breakfast is good, ambience is good and you can buy some stuff from a small corner in the lobby. The Lobby is cozy. Everything was perfect and comfortable. The hotel is in Prater Park for those who are coming to enjoy the theme park. Oh yeah, the Garage is available too for parking the car too. Thanks again for making our stay remarkable.

Boiled eggs were a bit watery - we asked and they tried their best to accommodate our request.

We arrived a earlier than the check in time but we were able to go to our room. They even let us choose if we wanted a lower floor or higher floor on the building. The rooms are nicely decorated, bed is comfortable and shower is great! The location is awesome. Near a subway station and just a couple of blocks away from Prater.

Everything was great but just to mention a minor inconvenience: after our first night, the room was not perfectly clean and the Nespresso pods were not replenished so we could not have coffee in the room on our second morning there.

The room was a good size, the location was really good. Close to a metro stop and not long to get to central Vienna and about a 40 min walk to stephanplats. The seating area downstairs is light and airy

On arrival the reception staff (looked very young) were not that friendly or helpful. The room was way too hot, even with the temperature control at its lowest it was hot. There wasn’t enough coffee pods and milk for 2 people. It was difficult to fill the water bottle in the basin. There were stains on the bedroom carpet. The breakfast was good, it would be good if it was advertised that you could order fried eggs if you wanted, it was only because I saw someone that had them that I asked.

- Fantastic staff, very accommodating and allowed us to check in 4 hours early - Super comfortable bed and large room - Fridge included in the room - Great shower, with good quality body lotion, shampoo, body wash, conditioner included - Tea/coffee making facilities available - Excellent location for the Prater Theme Park, and close to the station to access the city centre

- Couldn’t work out the AC, so room was quite warm - WiFi was a bit temperamental

Our stay was in Vienna amazing. The hotel were super accommodating and even let us check in early after a long night of travelling. The room was just perfect for a city break and was nice and clean. Location of the hotel was ideal, only a 5 minute walk from the U-Bahn station which easily connected us to anywhere we wanted to go.

Not much to dislike but having to go downstairs to fill our drinking water was a little inconvenient at times. We also thought our TV had airplay but was told it no longer works in the hotel. Other than that, it was a great stay!

We recently stayed at Bassena Hotel and had a great experience. It was refreshing to stay somewhere that prioritizes sustainability without sacrificing comfort. The breakfast was another highlight. There was a good variety of fresh, quality options that felt a notch above the typical hotel breakfast. However, while the food was delicious, we found the price a bit high. For those who prioritize a hearty breakfast, it’s worth it, but others might want to consider dining options nearby. Overall, Bassena Hotel is a great choice for eco-conscious travelers who value a central location and a bit of luxury in their stay.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks. The rooms lack wardrobes, which made storing clothes a bit challenging for a longer stay, as there wasn't much dedicated space to organize our belongings. Additionally, we found the pillows to be a bit uncomfortable – they felt flatter than we prefer, which affected our sleep quality.

The hotel was new and modern, the room spacious and the amenities were great. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but by the looks it seemed good as well!

Our room wasn’t cleaned although we left early in the morning and left the sign on the door. When we returned, the room was still not cleaned. I would also have liked some body lotion in the room in addition to the toiletries they offered. Location was otherwise great (very close to the subway) but a bit too far to walk to the center of the city.

We were asked to pay in advance what was really strange because i traveled all over the world and never been asked to pay in advance for room and parking, especially if you have my credit card there..... only the ladies of the night are paid in advance it's Ok if you charge me immediately online but not Like that it was kind of disrespectful and showing no trust.... as I said I like the hotel the breakfast and everything only i think the girl on the reception desk that morning didn't have the best day
