I always stay at Superbude Wien Prater whenever I visit Vienna, and it never disappoints. The location is excellent – right next to a metro station and just a short walk to Prater Park, which makes it easy to explore both the city and enjoy amusement park atmosphere. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and full of character. The design details create such a cool and welcoming atmosphere, and everything feels very thoughtfully put together. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and have a unique vibe compared to standard hotels. Overall, it’s the perfect combination of location, style, and hospitality. I can highly recommend Superbude Wien Prater to anyone visiting Vienna, whether for work or leisure.

The family room was as pictured. Not huge, no frills, but beautiful and cosy, with nice lighting, a balcony, a "hidden" passage to the ladder leading to the top bed, and lots of fun for the kids. One odd thing is that the shower space is only separated by a curtain. It's a heavy curtain, and it's opaque, but odd that there's no door that you can lock. There's a separate toilet with a door of course. The entire place is beautifully designed, from the loby, to the elevator area and the elevators themselves, the stairs, the restrooms at the restaurant. Lots of surprises and small details to linger on. Breakfast was the best thing about the hotel, which is saying something. There's a great selection for kids, and ours loved the pancakes with all the toppings (including maple syrup), orange juice and hot chocolate. We loved all the different salads, babaganoush, shakshouka, hummus, labneh etc. The view from the restaurant over the theme park and the rest of the park and city is beautiful.

The pillows weren't great, a bit flat and not fluffy.

This Hotel is perfect, beyond the scope of standard hotels. It has a lot of content and is great for socializing, especially if you go with friends. The Hotel is extremely clean and the staff responded very well to every request. The metro is 2 minutes from the hotel.

There is a little bit of walking noise from the neighboring rooms and the rooms above, but nothing too bad as it didn't bother me that much (it all depends on the guests' home culture). Parking is 25 euros per day, which might be a bit cheaper for hotel guests (but keep in mind that this is Vienna). These are comments that did not affect the stay at the hotel or the rating.

Overall the hotel was great. Clean, warm, very comfortable beds and pillows, modern and new, everything was very stylish and it was a pleasure to stay there. I loved the design, the details and the security. From the lobby to the room, everything was made to offer a great stay. I loved the staff, they were very kind, even though we had so little contact with them. It was a 30-40 minutes walk from the hotel to the main attractions and just a 10 min ride using the public transport. There is a station near by within a 5 min walk. I am only giving 9 out of 10 because I think it could need some more facilities in the room, like some cups (to drink some water or some medicine), maybe a kettle for some warm water or tea and maybe slippers to use in the room.

The hotel has a really funky design. The Lobby is very well designed and has a great vibe. The staff are accommodating and friendly. You can store your luggage before official check-in. If you take the airport train to its end, it's about a 25-minute walk to the hotel. They also switched out the feather bedding for anti-allergenic bedding. It's spotless. It has air conditioning in the rooms, which works really well. Liked the cafe/bar that served food, snacks, great coffee, and drinks. There is a cool front patio. The hotel is next to the Prater, so you will hear the rides, but it wasn't disturbing. If you desire, you can walk to the center of Vienna in 50 minutes. The U-Bahn is also close by. The price is very reasonable as it's comparable to a hostel. They have higher-end Shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. The shower has a big flower head and a wand and has decent pressure. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again. They accept cards and cash.

The shower knobs for turning on and off the shower take some time to figure out. They are not intuitive. It's not really a negative, but they don't clean the room every day unless you ask, which was not an issue. It's the same as hostels. The cafe prices are standard for Vienna, but not cheap. There are no nearby grocery stores if you want to walk and buy food. Our bed was on the floor, and it had steps up to it, but there are rooms with regular beds, so be sure to ask when booking if you prefer one over the other. The rooms have no fridges, and it would be a great addition.

The property was lovely! The location was very convenient, with a metro station about 5-10 minutes away, and an amusement park right next to the hotel. Despite the amusement park being very close there was very little noise in the rooms themselves which is fantastic. The staff were also incredibly helpful, on the first morning our shower had flooded due to a problem with the drain and once we informed the staff, it was dealt with straight away and we had no further problems. We would highly recommend staying here.

We did encounter a problem with the drain of the shower and the shower door had no stopper on it however the staff were very quick with ensuring it was fixed and therefore was no real problem and we can’t complain!

Great hotel and services. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish. The lobby was also stylish and had a great cafe for coffee and breakfast alacarte. Everything we tried for breakfast was good. All the stuff was polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is right next to a big park and a entertainment park. That made it really easy for a quick stroll and had options to eat really close. The subway was also really close, so we could get anywhere fast. The value of the room was also great, at least for the period we traveled. If the weather allows it, a lot of nice things to see are withing a walking distance. Even to the historical center, is a nice walk with nice view.

Not real problems but some points to notice: Although the neighborhood was full of hotels and was quite, there was some noise on Saturday afternoon from the amusement park. It was until 11 or 12 pm. So no really an issue for sleep. But it was audible only on that day. The rooms had good soundproofing nevertheless. Also our room had 3 steep steps to reach the bed and then the mattress was on the elevated platform. It was very stylish and fresh. But some people might find it challenging getting up and down (i was thinking of my parents staying in that room). There were other rooms with no steps of course. SO just be mindful of your choice for your preferences.

I loved the quirkiness of the hotel and room, so was very happy to see it perfectly matched the photos. I could mention some small niggles regarding the location, room layout and tv, but all of that becomes secondary to the amazing staff. I unfortunately injured myself on my last day and everyone was incredibly helpful and kind, making me feel less alone in a strange city. A particular shoutout to Hana, who went above and beyond to do everything she could to help and support me. I cannot recommend Superbude enough!

I would expect a hotel in 2025 to have the Netflix app on the tv so guests could sign in with their own account (the few non-German channels were all news) but this is a really tiny preference, not a big deal.

It’s clean with super polite and helpful staff at the reception. We went to aa concert at the Ernst Happel stadium which is pretty close, but if you don’t feel like walking there is an underground station just 3 mins away. The breakfast was abundant with something for everyone.

I can’t say I didn’t like it, but the fact that the room hasn’t a proper closer is just strange and somehow messy. The other thing that would be ok is to divide the bathroom area from the room itself with at least a curtain. We got the cube room and call me old fashioned, bit those things I really missed. :)

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The vibe in the hotel and coffee place/bar overall is very nice! Metro and shops are close, good choice of pleases to eat. Good value for the price.

Shower not separated in a separate room, the toilet is. We were not sure from the photos that it was the case. It’s fine for a shorter stay, but we stayed for 10 days and missed some private space at some point. Overall, it felt like some functionality was sacrificed for the design (like the lack of storage space - wardrobe, shelves).
