I came for a conference. The location was a walking distance of the Messe Wien conference hall. The room was spacious and every day the room service cleaned it. The breakfast was okay, although it was simple. However, when you stay for 6 nights, it might get boring.

One of the staff members at the breakfast stand had an attitude, although I believe it's because it gets quite busy around 7.30 a.m. So I suggest getting your breakfast beforehand. Also, it seems a bit pricy compared to the other Ibis at a nearby location, but it is a bit remote place, so I can understand the price difference.

I stayed at Ibis budget wien messe from March 28th until April 2nd. I have to say that the entire process was quite delightful; getting to the hotel is quite easy as it is a 7-10 minute walk for the metro. The check in process was also very smooth; I arrived around 9AM and was even granted early check in, which was very helpful. All the staff that I interacted with was pleasant and helpful; they even gave me good Vienna recommendations. Two things about the rooms you might want to keep in mind: there is no hair drier in the room and you have to ask for it at the front desk (I read somewhere that there is a 20 euro deposit, not sure cause I didn’t ask for a hair drier) and that there is no fridge in the room. This one is quite uncomfortable as anything you buy that need a fridge will go bad in a day; but it is what it is. Overall, with the given budget, I think it’s a good stay. Getting around the city is super easy, again due to the metro nearby. Also, getting to the airport is also easy- there is a train station nearby and you can take REX7 or S7 nearby. Overall would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, I didnt get a fridge in the room. This one is quite uncomfortable as anything you buy that need a fridge will go bad in a day.

I stayed at the Ibis budget hotel and had a very good experience. The 24-hour reception and the polite, helpful staff are a big plus. The location is also very convenient, as the metro station is within a short walking distance and you can reach the city center in about 15 minutes by metro.

The room is fine for a short stay, but for several days it can feel less functional. There is a small sink to wash up, the shower is right next to the bed, and the toilet is in a separate small room. You also need to be mindful of what you take out of your suitcase and where you place your things, since storage space is quite limited.

The staff were very welcoming so the stay already started off well when first at the desk. The hotel is about a 5 mins walk from a met station so the travel bro the town centre is very simple and quick. The room was very clean, towels and hand soap provided. Comfortable stay, also had a tv which is a nice bonus.

Overall can’t complain except for the fact that the shower itseld was in the actual room, which made it slightly difficult to shower considering I was staying with m brother but obviously manageable. The toilet itself was separated but comparing to the rest of the room very simple. Just concrete walls and some toilet roll but that’s okay coz the room had a sink and was nice anyway that part isn’t important would still 100% recommend

The hotel is perfectly located near Prater and the metro station. It was great to be able to take my bike to my room, which gave me full peace of mind during my stay. Thanks for that!

The room had all I needed for my stay! Price-quality ratio could have been a bit better. I fully support the no-plastic efforts, but the tap could be a bit higher to enable guests to fill up a large bottle of water. Consider choosing a different hotel if you're traveling with friends as the shower is in the room itself, so it may lack some privacy depending on whom you are traveling with.

By entering the hotel the first impression you get- it looks just as a hospital. However, the longer you stay, you basically realize that the bathing cabin just in a room is pretty convenient to use. What I liked mostly: everyday cleaning , supportive personnel, decent price and great location. Breakfast could be better served (eg, with fried eggs or omelet). Wifi connection is stable.

Couple of weeks prior to arrival I got a message from the hotel via booking.com application with a reference to my confirmed booking - with a phishing link that looked similar to booking.com form, which I didn’t recognise. And despite immediate reporting to my bank/booking.com/merchant money were withdrawn from my account without any successful refund. Hotel wifi is insecured, be careful entering your credentials/passwords.

The place is close to a Metro station, approx. 7 minutes on foot so the location is convenient. The room and bed sheets were clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and eager to help. Although we had booked a two-bedded room, they gave us, upon our request, a double-bed room and allowed us to early check-in. The location has two elevators. Overall, a satisfactory experience.

The shower and bed are in the same room, so when someone is showering, another person sitting in bed can see them. Therefore, it is a place mostly recommended for couples. Also, there was no trash can in the bathroom.

This is a hotel that does exactly what it says on the tin... Pre arrival communication was good and check in was swift at the 24/7 manned reception. Our double room was located on the 1st floor and was spacious, clean and well presented, cleaned daily and fresh towels provided, more than adequate for the needs of this married couple. Not sure the in-room shower, and unlockable toilet door would suit friends though. Room also had a small wall mounted TV with multilingual channels available (German/English/Russian/French/Arabic). Our Bed was firm yet comfortable (how we like it), the shower was hot, and the water was plentiful. To get into Vienna (Wein) city center just go out of the hotel and turn left for approx. 500m on the same side of the road to the U-Bahn station called Vorgartenstrasse. a ticket costs 2.5 Euro per person if you buy a single trip and is only a few stops on Line U1 (red) to either Schwedenplatz (3 stops & 3 mins) or Stephansplatz (4 stops & 4 mins).

I was a little disappointed with the pillows on the bed, 1 per person and they were literally paper thin, we stuffed our down jackets into the pillowcase to make them thicker which worked a treat, however I'm sure the reception staff who were very pleasant would have given us more if we had asked but we didn't.

Staff was very very friendly and always available. Breakfast was pretty good, savoury very good (nice fresh heated variety of breads, fresh humus, cheeses...), sweet a bit lacking (maybe you could add some basic cakes?) and a good coffee. Rooms were quite spacious (considering this is a budget chain) albeit a bit basic. As mentioned by others the shower is integrated in the room, so depending on your privacy needs this may be a concern. Very good position as the U1 line is just a few steps from the hotel and you have both the Mess and UNO center very close. Good choice of restaurants and basic markets available nearby as well. Definitely as I expected or maybe even a bit more!

Just the "bathroom" part was a bit too minimal, not even an electric plug near the mirror. It is a bit silly that the toilet light is only actionable on movement, so if you are "sitting and producing" you may get the light closed. Heating didn't seem to work much, luckily I did not have big heating needs in the season.

The room was clean and nice. Good value for money. It was basic but spacious and had everything I needed. The staff was really nice and were especially kind when I wanted to checkout late, and was a few minutes late for the time they approved. I think that each time we spoke they were very nice and helpful. There were always people walking in the street even at night and it was very close to U1 metro so it was easy to get into the center of town

The TV was a little small, but I hardly used it anyway. There was construction outside, which you could hear only when the window was open, since the windows did a good job of keeping out the noise.
