We had a great stay at Hotel Römerhof. The staff was friendly and helpful, supplying us with all the necessary information regarding our stay. They were quick, responsive and customer oriented, which was extremely kind of them. We would like to thank Mr. Marinko from the restaurant and everyone else for making our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was rich with local ingredients i.e. home-made jams, honey, milk, etc., eggs are not pre-prepared but cooked at the spot. We've tried some of the meals from a-la-carte menu and were also satisfied with the quality of food and drinks. Room was cozy and spacious, basically, everything what you would have expected from a hotel in Austrian Alps. Waking up to the smell of fresh air overlooking the mountains and hearing cow bells is a perfect weekend getaway. On top of that, the spa & wellness area is also nice, with a wonderful little outdoor pond with cold spring water that you can swim in to refresh on a hot summer day.

It's a very good place, just too expensive for the basic level of rooms. I understand the demand is high. But the higher price, the higher the expectations. I recommend it a lot nevertheless. Parking is available around the building, the count seem to be just right for the amount of rooms.

Dude at the bar. I needed a cup of hot water and he couldn't give me, and it took 5 persons to actually make me a cup of hot water. And yes, there is no kettle in a room, so I had to go down.

All of the staff were absolutely incredible! We were upgraded on arrival (for a last minute booking!) The breakfast is AMAZING and nothing is ever too much trouble or effort... It's a great location to relax and unwind after a long day exploring the GrossGlockner

It's on the main road to the grossglockner so was a bit loud during the early morning, day and evening BUT it didn't detract from the obvious beauty and amazing staff

Staff were very attentive and friendly . Room was very clean and spacious . Room would be excellent for a family, as it had a sliding door between a sitting room and the bedroom. A fridge was provided although nothing in it. Breakfast and evening meal were good.

The room didn’t have tea and coffee making facilities. Our room was across the road which felt a little separate and was a bit noisy at times. Shower seemed a bit small for the size of the bathroom, but the shower itself was good. There was no soap in the toilet despite a handbasin and towel, however the bathroom was close by.

The wellness facilities were very clean, comfortable and big. They have accommodated guests without any crowd, with the space for maintaining privacy. The temperature of the water in the water pool was exactly how it should be. Spacious, clean room and balcony, modern bathroom, excellent mattress and nice view.

Breakfast was nutritious but with a limited choice of options. For example - already cooked eggs, no fish, no soft cheese like Brie or Camembert. Fresh juice - only with apples and carrots.

Friendly staff, clean and modern room and marvelous wellness area (I like the outdoor sauna in particular), breakfast includes everything you want - also gluten free bread, muesli and pancakes. There is a cook to make your egg dish the way you want it in front of you

There was much noise from the floor in the morning - most likely due to the fact that our room was close to the staircase

Everything is fantastic. Traveling for more than 5 years in Europe, mainly in Germany, France, UK, Belgium, Netherlands I didn't find any hotel like this one. Top on everything they have/do.

There was nothing I didn't like

We stayed in the main building. We were upgraded without any ask, and got a spacious double room. The spa area was amazing, the staff was helpful and kind. No hassle while checking-in. Loved it. Breakfast was full of variety, amazing bread and smoked trout.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Clean rooms, very friendly and helpfull staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Great food, very nice wellness area including heated outside pool. Definitly worth visit.

Everything was perfect: breakfast, outdoor pool, sauna, personnel. We want to come back next year!

There wasn’t kettle in the room, I like to drink tea before bed, so going to restaurant wasn’t an option.
