Each time when I go to Baku I stay in this hotel. Hotel location is very good. Rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast and restaurant bar menu is enough good. Thank you very much.

King Room size was more than sufficient. We requested for baby Cot/Crib and it is provided by the staff before we reach hotel. We did late check-in(2AM in morning) and staff was really helpful. It was very quick check-in process hardly took 5-10 mins for check-in. The Room service was also exceeds our expectations. We really love the day and night views of the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center from room window. It was so relaxing to use jacuzzi in the bathroom. The king bed size was really a king size. We stayed with 10 year old kid and 1.5 year old kid it is perfect fitting our needs. We never face any challenges in room or in breakfast. There are so much options in the breakfast, even though we are pure vegetarians but we found the breakfast really good. Each day they have either oat meal/rice kheer/rice with vegetables. Hotel staff are so polit and they understand our language and support for any request. The hotel has luggage room also available for baggage pick and drop facility. The Spa, Swimming pool and Gym are complementary in the hotel stay. We and our kids really enjoyed it.

There was no issues at all in hotel and room facilities. The only issue is with the location. It is somewhat 2 km far from main Nizami street and during the peak hours it is really difficult to book a ad-hoc cab. In our case it got cancelled 3-4 times and we missed one of our tour bus later we could able to catch it. But if the cabs are pre-booked then there is no issues. It will maximum took 20-15 min to reach to main city street.

Had an amazing experience. We stayed for 3nights and it was great time . The room is very big and spacious and we requested for a good view and they provided us with the most beautiful view. Had huge windows too. The restaurant food was delicious. Staffs are very cheerful and they have 24hrs room service which was very handy. The room had Jacuzzi which was very relaxing 😌 They kept our rooms so clean and tidy everyday . Which is something I always look for. Overall was a great experience 😊. Will stay here again

It’s a bit expensive, given the fact that it’s not in a very feasible location . The restaurant and bar is delicious and has great ambience but was little heavy on the pockets. We did struggle to turn on the jacuzzi and had to wait a little longer for someone to come and fix it as it was turned off from the mains , but once it was fixed had an amazing time in the jacuzzi .

The hotel room was spacious and well-appointed The breakfast was a highlight of my stay. There was a fantastic variety of options, from fresh fruit and pastries to hot items like scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. Everything was delicious and well-presented. The dining area was bright and inviting, making it a pleasant place to start the day the pool area was another standout feature. It was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing. I enjoyed taking a refreshing dip and soaking up the sun. The ambiance was peaceful, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this hotel.

Nil overall good experince best for family stay

Best feature is the gym, swimming pool & spa facilities. Full size swimming pool & well equipped gym with suana, steam room & massage. Nurlan at the reception was very friendly & helpful. I got a massage from Kubra which was excellent. They also do a tasty shake at the bar. Room & bathroom was was great size, fully equipped with toiletries, robe, slippers & large jacuzzi bath. In general the staff in the hotel are very welcoming, which made my stay even better.

Overall I had a very good stay, so there wasn’t much I disliked. Just couple of things, the bed which was a little soft for me, I prefer a more firmer mattress. It’s not close to the centre of Baku but easily accessible.

Rooms were very specious. Beds and linen etc were high quality and comfortable. Bathroom specious and everything you could need. Outside pool area was fantastic although sometimes tables were reserved very early or the night before and more were needed.

Furniture in bedroom was very tired and needs changing as it looks dirty. the TV was old with very limited access to channels. Breakfast was very limited and not worth paying for at 25 Manet. .

The location was peaceful …the staff specially the manager who received us was incredible he knew we took a flight at night he ensured tht we are rested nd fed before he brings up payments or any other formality he brief us abt esstential requirements and made us go to to room and rest …pool and spa nd breakfast were jus cherry on top

Nothing in particular overall had smoothest check in stay and check out.

Very responsive and helpful staff. Service was great Indoor swimming pool is really big, as well as the gym We had lunches in the hotel - food was absolutely delicious!

A bit dated room, but it wasn't a problem for us. The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable Also it wasn't mentioned that you need a special swim cap to swim in the pool :)

It was a perfect stay in Excelsior. Staff is helpful, the breakfast is great with fresh and copios choice. There is sauna and stream cabin separately for women and man. We loved the pools also. The whole hotel have a good ambiance with light and music. Our room was quiet with panorama to the city. We enjoyed also the well equiped fitness centre. I absolutely recommend this place.

It's difficult to walk around the hotel with a baby stroller. The kids pool did not have shade. The indoor pool is only for swimming in deep water. not suitable for kids.
