Location is ideal, especially from tourist point of view. The food is also good here, breakfast has good options. Rooms are spacious, and good facilities and equipment installed.

The staff at reception it seemed did not seem very helpful or welcoming. Other places, a tourist normally looks upto the reception to be open, friendly, however at the hotel, it always seemed as they were cold, and not receptive to any complaints if any guest was having with the room or facilities. With regards to cleanliness, the floors in the room were really dirty, our socks were always black due to dirt and the washroom had stinky smell as well. Since travellers come here from different countries, TV should have options for English channels as well. The language barrier does frustrate a lot.

We stayed one night in February 2025 with family in a 2-bedroom family suite. The hotel, finishing look new/recent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good value for money paid.

Very nice new small cosy hotel in the downtown. Easyly to reach from the airport express bus stop. 5 min walk to the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet. Large rooms, modern furniture, safe box, refrigerator and tea kettle in the room. Complimentary soft slippers, shower cap and gels, soap. Comfortable beds. Restaurant in the hotel.

Clearneas should be better. Dust under the bed. Traces of glue on the wallpaper. Plaque on metallic parts of the shower drain. Poor soundproofing: everything that happens in the floor seems to take place in your room. Absolutely no view from the window, you can see just a wall of the next building which is in 6 m from your window.

During my last trip to Baku, I stayed in Port Rivoli Hotel along with my family. From the time I booked the hotel, they were extremely prompt with communication. Request for additional bed and late check-in were addressed with no extra cost immediately while few other hotels charge for it in Baku. The hotel is located not far from Nizami street and old Baku city for those who love to walk a bit. Crescent Mall is just a few blocks away from the hotel. Else Bolt (likes of Uber and Careem) and Yango taxis are available everywhere which can take you to most of the attractions in less than 10 manat. The hotels staffs were extremely friendly and ready to help. Aidan, the lady at the reception with a pleasant smile, stood out because of her fluent English and willingness to help. The room had a smart TV with YouTube which the kids enjoyed. Room Cleaning services were also top notch and they did it everyday without having to request for it. There is lift (elevator) available in the hotel. The breakfast had a decent spread with a number of cheese options and deserts. Overall I and my family had a pleasant stay at Port Rivoli and its full value for money. Highly recommend for families with kids

I felt the hotel would be able to offer even better experience to the guests if all the staffs had a certain level of English proficiency given lots of tourists are flocking to Baku these days to spend their vacations. It would be great to include few savory items into the breakfast menu to have a balance with the sweet options.

*Staff generally spoke good English, and were friendly and helpful. We arrived at 4am and didn't have any small notes to pay the taxi so the hotel stepped in and paid the taxi for us before adding it to the room, which was very kind of them (side note: airport taxis will overcharge hugely, so get a Bolt or Uber). *The room was large, modern and very clean. Free water provided along with kettle/tea and coffee. *There was a slight issue with the flush on our toilet but this was fixed quickly and the staff were quick to apologise. Cleaning lady was very sweet and did a great job keeping the room clean. *Location is good: only 10 minutes in an Uber from the main restaurants and bars. Uber/Bolt is incredibly cheap- we rarely paid more than £1.50 a ride to anywhere in the city. *WiFi was fast

*Breakfast was a little basic- hot options were served cold. No fresh juice and the coffee was awful.

Everything about the property is praise worthy. Place, People, Hygiene, Location 10/10 Especially the Staff of the hotel is out of the world. I have never experienced such warmth in any part of the world. A special thanks to Aidan Daolashiva for making my wedding anniversary so special. If you are looking for an excellent experience in Azerbaijan, the perfect start would be to stop at the Port Rivoli Hotel. The hotel is located in a cozy area of Baku and you can reach all the tourist attractions you wish by foot or at affordable taxi prices (around 1.5-2 euros). Additionally, there is the Baku City Circuit nearby for F1 enthusiasts. I must mention that the rooms are tidied every day and every time you feel like at home. The staff are warmly welcomed from the entrance door until the last minute of your stay here and speak in multiple languages: Azerbaijani, Russian, English, and possibly more than I have heard. In any case, you can find communication tools and get what you need during your stay. If traveling with children, this is an absolutely child-friendly place, and if you require some peace of mind, room service is available for your convenience. Port Rivoli represents hospitality from locals and their kindness. I will definitely come back to spend more days with them in the future.

Additionally, Nihad Baghirzade a special mention for his efforts in ensuring our experience was nothing short of perfect. One small observation we’d like to share is regarding the breakfast service. While the quality of the food was excellent, it would be wonderful to see the menu expanded to include more options, especially items that cater to children. Additionally, extending the breakfast hours slightly would make it even more convenient for guests.

The staff is very cooperative and professional, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience throughout my stay. A special mention to Mr. Nihat at the reception, who was exceptionally courteous and helpful. From the very first day to the checkout, he provided outstanding hospitality, addressing all our needs efficiently. His welcoming attitude and attention to detail made our stay even more comfortable. I truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend this place for its warm and customer-friendly approach
