The hotel room setup was modern, bright and comfortable with friendly staff.

This is a hotel with modern, bright and comfortable setup but as a top notch (given the price) 5 star hotel we expect the attention to details. No shower gel and promised to supply next morning at 9am after phone request but nothing turned up. Cleaner did not fill up and clear the coffee machine from time to time and once set the do not disturb sign wrongly after cleaning such that subsequent services did not occurred.

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton Baku was nothing short of phenomenal. The customer service and the entire experience was exceptional, truly setting a standard in luxurious hotel experiences. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though everything was tailored to our needs. Every staff member, whether directly or indirectly involved, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine desire to make us feel welcome made our experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a top-notch stay in Baku! We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Special thanks to all the staff we encountered from reception, Conceirge and F&B. Purposely will not mention names so I don’t forget anyone. The room was big and spacious, food was yummy, pool was fantastic and overall was comfortable stay.

Location is a bit tough especially if you get caught in rush hour. We selected Grand King room for the advertised “whirlpool” tub however it was just a round tub without the whirlpool!

Everything was impeccable, from start to finish. Thanks to the crew for their efforts in making the stay truly special! My family and I had one of a kind experience.

The only downside is awkward location of the hotel - kind of central, but hard to walk around due to busy roads surrounding it. We had to take taxi almost every time we left the hotel. Not exactly hotel's fault as Baku in general left impression of being cars-centric kind of city. While breakfasts at the hotel were fantastic, dinner was not so memorable. All in all - still a solid 9.6/10, coming from a picky reviewer. Great job!

Our room, boasting breathtaking city views, is a meticulously designed sanctuary, equipped with every conceivable amenity. The marble-clad spa bathroom was the very definition of luxury. The hotel's facilities, including the sumptuous dining options at Tribeca and the lavish breakfast buffet, elevate the guest experience to extraordinary heights. Every detail, from the thoughtfully designed shower bench to the seamless concierge service, contributes to a truly exceptional and memorable stay.

First of all, I've stayed in beautiful hotels all over the world, from New York to Paris, Rome, Warsaw and so on, but this hotel is special. I thought with my girlfriend about what could be optimized and we came to the conclusion that there is nothing. That's why I can only emphasize what stood out. For us, this included the attention to detail and the fact that our special wishes were fulfilled perfectly. The food is great for breakfast and dinner, nothing more needs to be said. The spa area is very nice, you are provided with everything. The rooms are kept perfectly clean and you are never disturbed. The staff is very nice, professional and can read your every wish. A recommendation through and through

There is nothing to criticize

- Not walkable from its location, you pretty much need a cab or car.

It is worth noting that the hotel is very clean, the facilities are excellent, and the staff were generally helpful and welcoming. The free access to the lounge was a definite plus, providing three meals a day within the same package.

On the downside, the location is a bit far from most major tourist attractions—except for the Heydar Aliyev Museum, which is conveniently just a few meters away. While the quality of the food was good, the variety and taste could be improved.

We have been to other ritz Carltons in different countries. This one needed maintenance and the staff wasn’t as friendly as in the other destinations. The big breakfast wasn’t as big and staff was just ok. They don’t even welcome their guests at reception. Lacks hospitality and doesn’t match the overall quality. The curtains in room needed repair and paint came off every time we closed the curtain.
