The room was spacious and very clean, which made for a comfortable stay. The hostel itself is quiet at night, ideal if you're looking to get good rest. One of the best things about this place is its location—very central and convenient for exploring Baku. I also arranged an airport pickup through the hostel. While the fee was significantly higher than a regular taxi, I appreciated the convenience, especially since I arrived late at night.

Upon arrival, the night staff told me the card machine wasn’t working and asked for cash. When I explained that I didn’t have any cash on hand, the card machine suddenly started working, which felt a bit dishonest and left a bad first impression.

We are 2 friends and we stayed in family room with queen size bed and a bunkbed so the room was spacious for us and we have attached bathroom. We stayed for 5 days and the room was being cleaned everyday. It is quiet, even in the common area. They had a balcony where you can have a good view for photos. At night, after the tours we used to go to nizami st which is very near, location wise it is superb. Everything is there. During arrival, we went earlier than the check in time but we are able to put our luggages in the storage room and use the washroom to freshen up before the tours. I paid by card. Rest is all great.

We got stuck in the elevator going down for like 5 minutes. So be careful. lol

I took a private room in Sahil Hostel & Hotel. I had a great stay! It is very clean and confortable. The view from the balcony is very nice! The location is perfect : close to the most important sites to visit in Baku. After checking out, I could keep my suitcase without any additional charge and I really appreciated that. The hostel is very calm at night.

Because of the perfect location of the hotel, the rooms are right on a busy street. So you will hear the cars till late hours in the night. But that was absolutely not a problem.

I would say the hostel's location is very ideal, as it is very close to the most famous spots in Baku city. The neighborhood has a very European-style architecture and parks nearby, making it a very clean city. The rooms are very clean, and I would highly recommend it for someone traveling solo and preferring to stay in a hostel. I would say this hostel is the best in Baku.

Nothing much to say. Overall, I had an amazing experience. They might have mentioned the charger holder details, as the one I carried didn't suit. So, I don't know whether I should have asked earlier or maybe from the hostel side to mention these details in the information? I think they need to check the washroom hair dryer, as I forgot to mention that it was not working. I was totally in a rush moving around, and I forgot to mention that they need to check and fix that.

Alex and the girl from the hostel staff, as well as the blonde cleaning lady, are very friendly, but the third person on the hostel staff — I don't know his name — is a bad person.

What I didn’t like about the hostel is that the people from Indian and Pakistani nationalities were not clean, and they didn’t give me a card to open the room. Every time I asked for the card, they gave it to me and told me to open the room and return the card to them.

The dorm room is quite big, beds with curtains. Located in a strategic road, close to the metro stop, the center, the sea. The hostel is surrounded by shops, supermarkets, bank to change money and a lot of restaurants. Many toilets and showers, provided with hairdryers. They have washing machines. Big kitchen and common area. Every morning a cleaner come to clean everything. The workers are very gentle and helpful.

The kitchen could be more clean.

I mistakenly booked a female room but the reception helped me resolve the issue and put me in another more expensive room at my original price. The hotel is very clean. The staff (3 cleaners keep it clean very well). A huge plus is the presence of a laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer. There is also an iron. Finally I managed to do my laundry after 3 weeks of traveling. The price for washing by the way is only 3 manats (about 1 dollar) I highly recommend it

Laundry was delay due to closure of roads Not their fault but they could have an extra pair of bedsheets and pillow covers so we are ready to check in. So that we don’t have to wait or go and come back later. Still the one in the reception handled it very good.

Location is great, everything is within walking distance and for the more remote location you can use the metro station that is very close. The price per night also very attractive. Beds are comfy and room do not feel packed. Easy to find as there is a big panel over the door visible on the street. Staff was very helpful and welcoming.

- Seems that there are a lot of long term guests staying there which tend to forget the idea of a dorm... Switching lights on at midnight, constantly using the balcony and leaving the door wide open. Talking on the phone or together at late hours... ==> Would be wise to put them all in the same dorm and keep rooms and dorms for travellers. - Bathroom should be used early or right after the cleaning lady otherwise they will be not very clean by the end of the day. - Locker allocated did not close (I was fine with that but just for information)
