Fantastic location on the water and just outside of town, so nice and quiet. Some nice restaurants within a 10 minute walk from the property. Beautiful and very nicely kept pool. the room was big and pretty comfortable. The breakfasts were tasty and the beer was always cold. A local Neighbour stopped by swearing by the Margrittas but we didn’t try them.

Some things show their age, like the drapes in the bedroom and some of the walls outdoors. The owner is very hardworking but seems a bit strict - I am not sure how much she likes interacting with guests :)

This accommodation option is located just out of the main town of Corozal, but within walking distance of several restaurants. The grounds are lovely, and the swimming pool is a definite highlight. We ate both breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant, receiving good meals. There are a couple of single speed beach cruisers available for guest use.

We found our room to be quite dark, even with it facing the open ocean. There were multiple lamps dotted around the room, but even with those all going it still wasn't light enough to read comfortably. Unfortunately, the only source of natural lighting was through the doors, and as there were no netting curtains in place, we had to have the curtains closed a lot of the time for privacy, due to the balcony in front being the access point for guests to get to their rooms.

The property was exceptionally clean. I’m a flight attendant and visit many hotels. I felt extremely comfortable with my room. so comfortable that I forgot to do my usual wipedown of the room. I’ve stayed at a lot of nice, new. modern hotels and REGULARLY wipe down everything from remotes to door handles. Betsi was very accommodating. Remember this is a family owned and ran hotel. I asked for dinner to be made as late as possible. The restaurant closed at 8 and she said she would make it for me by 7:45. When I got there, she prepared it for me to eat in the restaurant. I explained to her that she wouldn’t need to stay late Just so I could eat downstairs. She insisted that she didn’t mind and even pleasantly made me a margarita! This hotel is great for people who want to get away from hustle and bustle. The city of Corozal is not prime for those seeking action. it has more bay than beach. If you decide to Rent a car, t’s probably not a bad idea. Walking to a restaurant 10mins away was NO FUN in sandals, while maneuvering around gravel. The taxi driver Betsi sent out was extremely nice and also accommodating. I considered taking a flight from BZE to CZH so I wouldn’t have a 2hour taxi with a stranger during my solo trip. However, riding with the driver named Darren, was the best decision I could have made. I enjoyed my stay on this beautiful property on a bay!

I really love their lovely swimming pool. It was so nice! Even though the sea at front of the hotel was not suite to swim, I really satisfied with the nice pool. The sea in Corozal is not suite to swim because of it’s floating sands in a water. It looked blown color but the sea view at sunrise was so wonderful. Room and the hotel outside my room was so clean and well organized. I felt good minds of owner’s family. Breakfast and dinner was so tasty and nice for extra charge but it was reasonable price compared to outside restaurants. Especially I love so much her Pork chops at dinner. It was so amazing taste with yummy garlic source! Thank you so much for nice chilling days!!

Only the sea for swimming but good view at sunrise. This is natural phenomenon, so the hotel has no choice.

What really made this stay a great time what's the concierge. I have never stayed at a hotel and had this great of service I would stay there again and again.

What I didn't like about this stay was the TV didn't work for the first 3 days and the handle on the toilet broke.

I had an upper floor room overlooking the pool. Good ventilation and the room was spacious, clean and very quiet. Their restaurant/bar was open for breakfast and dinner, so when I arrived hungry from Corozal airport, Betsy kindly offered to order local Stew Beans, Rice and chicken for me and have it delivered. Their food at the restaurant is delicious, big portions and typically priced for BZ. The property is very well maintained and I was very impressed with the excellent concrete work and details. The pool area is divine.

Owners were very welcoming the location was near airport and the town of Corozal. Pool was a nice break and the grounds were manicured with almond trees and many tropical plants that provided shade and privacy. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Would stay again the next time we are in Corozal town.

Private, quiet, relaxing and comfortable

The 2 dinners prepared for us, were excellent! The room and grounds were very well maintained, complementing the very peaceful atmosphere. The staff truly cared that our stay would be enjoyable.

The location on Corozal Bay is excellent, although only some of the rooms look out onto the bay. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the beds are comfortable, if a bit small. Because of its location outside Corozal and surrounded by a generous garden, it's also wonderfully quiet.

Unfortunately, there was little light in the rooms and the switches were hard to find (especially the light switch in the bathroom is very hidden). Another shortcoming of the hotel is the breakfast options. There was very little breakfast offered, and then for quite a high price. It should also be noted that the hotel is only accessible via a muddy road.

Beds were comfy. Location was beautiful. Drinks good. Only meal was one breakfast and it was tasty.

The bathroom mirror was so high that I couldn’t see myself in it. A lower one could have been put on one of the blank walls. Couldn’t put makeup on or do my hair without a mirror.
