During my recent stay at Hotel Vila Gale Paulista in São Paulo, I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, where the experience was exceptional. Our host, Allff, truly stood out with his professionalism and attention to detail. He not only remembered our names and orders after our initial four-day stay but also greeted us warmly upon our return a week later, showcasing his remarkable memory and dedication to guest service. The restaurant staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. I particularly want to commend Eduardo and Vitoria at the front desk for their outstanding recommendations and support, which enhanced our overall experience. If you’re looking for a restaurant with attentive service and a warm atmosphere, I highly recommend dining at Hotel Vila Gale Paulista.

Location... location... location! As a South African I used an app to translate Portuguese 99% of the time trying to understand the language. Vila Galé is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. I was worried about coming to Brazil because of the location, distance and bad reputation Brazil gets, but it's actually the most amazing country and friendliest people I've met here in São Paulo and Rio as well. I even ended up cancelling my another accommodation coming back to São Paulo just to come back to Vila Galé because of the service. Even though there is hardly English there, they make it up with their service... because of that I am now learning Portuguese and hoping to come and speak with the locals, Breakfast was amazing!

So so happy with this hotel, I arrived and the receptionist I met, Eve was phenomenonal, very friendly and attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay there very pleasant. She also helped me out with some issues I was having with my trip and was happy to help at all times. She was fantastic and is an asset to the hotel. The hotel itself is lovely and in a very good location right next to Avenida Paulista. The interior is beautifully designed with a very nice pool out back. I stayed in the one of the executive rooms and it was lovely, each room has a design from a selected artist which really adds to it, my bed was big and comfy, all the facilities were good. Breakfast is a nice buffet where you can take what you need. All the staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful too. Highly highly recommend here if you're staying in Sao Paulo.

No issues, everything was great.

In central, safe location off vibrant Paulista Avenue, surrounded by lots of good restaurants and bars and close to Paulista metro station. All staff we met were extremely helpful. Great selection of items for breakfast.

The room was very dark - could do with having one high power light in the room. The fixtures in the bathroom, eg, shower handle, shower grab bar and electrical sockets were loose and the water doesn’t drain well in both shower and sink.

Awesome! It's a great location and I've been there thrice already. Although São Paulo is my hometown I really enjoyed everything this accommodation provided and plan to return. Props to the great staff in all sectors from the front desk to the restaurant, from cleaners to waiters, room service, etc. Even the parking lot dudes were great this time around!

Prime Video, Netflix and Star+ didn't run in my room. Anyway, it wasn't a big deal because there was a lot to do outside as I was in the mood for walks. The restaurant is medium-sized which is a good feature. Perhaps the crowd has been a bit disturbing as I had one late-morning breakfast. No biggy either, the staff changed my table and it was solved quickly.

The very best location. Very safe to walk the neighbourhood even at night. Very pleasant hotel, nice vibe. Very nice helpful staff, always someone on duty who spoke English. Beautiful breakfast.

the room is very poorly lit. every light is dim, except the bathroom. there is no desk space and certainly no well-lit desk space or any well-lit place to read. not enough power points. room not huge but ok. I wouldn’t call it outstanding value for money, but I would come back.

The decor and staff and the location

Breakfast options could be expanded a little. The dark hallways is a bit intimidating.... The lights only went on when motion sensor kicks in. However, the area near the elevators should be kept lit, otherwise it feels very creepy...

The location is good, close to metro, easy to walk around, hotel is new and nicely decorated, clean and spacious room.Breakfast is fresh and lots of choices.

They gave us bad exchange rates, we end up paying $50 more per night.

Breakfast, location, bed is okay

The bathroom is claustrofobic and doesnt give you privacy for a non solo traveller. Front desk is not very kind, not rude either, but its like they are cold robots. At checkin, i felt like they didnt want to give me a room until 3pm. It was 220 and they had rooms. I had arrived at 6am

The staff and service was excellent. The front desk gentleman - Felipe, was exceptionally helpful and supportive. People in the restaurant make sure you are satisfied from beginning to end.

The only problem is that the room hardly has any lights. You have to wait for the daylight before you do any work.
