Location Safety Breakfast Swimming pool Laundry worked super fast (requested in the morning, clothes were ready when we came back in the afternoon) Same with food room service - super nice app!

Magnetic card system is very outdated. It was de-magnetizing many time. We couldn’t use the lift or enter our room, we had to ask to recharge the card at the reception. Quite noisy. No free bottled water. Safe was broken, we had to request the fix which took some time. Only one bathrobe available, we had to request another one which took so much time that we went to swimming pool without it.

Room had simple, modern decor and was clean. Refrigerator only/no microwave or kitchenette. We liked the lighting, and it was a nice bonus that the windows could open. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Massage in the spa was excellent-highly recommended (especially for the cost in USD) along with a great dry sauna and pool. The steam room needed to be cleaned it smelled very mildewy, so we skipped that. Room service was very good and reasonable. Breakfast is also recommended/great options and a very good value. Good location on the avenue with plenty of shopping options! We were there during Brazilian Independence Day, so it was interesting to mix with the local crowd, and we even got handed a bunch of election/political flyers. The staff was careful to warn us about not walking around with our cell phones out, but we never felt unsafe. Just as in any city, you simply have to be aware of your surroundings.

Pool was nice, but tiles were dangerously slippery. Some of the rooms are not updated, so be sure to ask (one of our party arrived a day ahead and was put in an older room that was reportedly not so great). The beds were VERY hard. We pushed twin beds together to make a king using a foam bridge, which worked great, but the hardness was unbearable by the 3rd night. It was very noisy outside due to construction. Key cards kept deprogramming/had to go to front desk several times to get them fixed. Overall, this is a nice property, but it is not at the caliber of a 5-star hotel/it is low to mid 4-star at best. For the price given the USD exchange rate, it was a pretty good value, though so it is still recommended.

Good and tasty breakfast, plenty of fruits and local food & juices. After a full day of meetings, it was great to enjoy the swimming pool. Nice bed and quiet room. Excellent internet connection that allowed me to keep track of the business. Great location in Paulista avenue, walking distance from shoppings, restaurants, bookstores and my business meetings. I felt totally safe walking nearby and for going further Uber worked perfectly.

It was nice for a business trip. Maybe just suggest the hotel to provide complimentary water & coffe in the room

All the staff was professional and friendly and could speak very good English. The rooms were clean and comfortable with coaches. The Hotel is small but practical and the restaurant was very good, the food is great in both quality and diversity, breakfast is not to be missed at the Melia. Located right on the Paulista with easy access to shopping, museums, street vendors and city experience.

Unfortunately the restaurant is a bit small which can cause some congestion at peak times, this is however due to the limited space in the layout of the hotel. The street access is a challenge cause taxi and Uber services can get congested at the front entrance. Plan for some extra minutes on your traveling plan for congested pick ups.

STAFF & MANAGEMENT: Excellent. EVERYTHING in this hotel is perfect. Under Carol's leadership the quality of this hotel is always high. Her staff's demeanor is one of the reasons I stay at that hotel. This hotel is a home outside home. Congratulations !!!

It is not related to the hotel, but the crew from Alitalia and other airlines who stay there are uncivilized, rude, loud and smoke in a non permitted area. They should to be banned to stay at that nice hotel.

Good location on the main street of São Paulo. On Sundays, there are many street performers on Avenida Paulista. Saunas and a swimming pool are great for relaxation. Clean and comfortable.

Nothing critical, except for the inedible coffee for breakfast. Door cards do not work properly, after 2-3 times you will have to go to the reception to assign them to your room number again.

-Great breakfast -Good location

-The cards didnt work most of the times (for the elevator to go up and for the room to get in) and had to go to the lobby and change them. Annoying. -It took too much time to check-in. -No room make up in the first 2 days

Pool, sauna and gym area super cool Staff is amazing

The sheets are smaller than the mattress, therefore some ports of the mattress touch your body. The smell in the bathroom, not nice. A/C not working well Safe security box not working, we needed to ask for help

The hotel is clean, well maintained and efficiently run. The location was excellent.

The room, arguably the best room with a single bed, was small with a laughably small amount of storage for clothes/luggage. It however is probably the only hotel room with a view of Avenida Paulista.
