The cleaning was done superficial, even on arrival. It is disappointing especially when everything else seems flawless.

The staff was very nice, the room had a sea view, the food was very good.

Our shower was broken, the bathroom was not so clean as i expected and the drinks are very low quality, we had to pay extra for a good drink and that s not ok if it is an ultra all inclusive hotel. And i didnt like people who stayed at this hotel, low quality people.

Location, cleaning, good food

The stuff, not all (some from the bar near reception), wasnt nice at all. They were bored and sometimes they answered with anger for our requests.

I was positively impressed by the location of the hotel (on the beach), and how everything is organized in the Albena resort. We travelled by car and could easily find a parking spot, in a location recommended by the hotel. Also, we were able to pay the parking tax at the hotel (it's a resort tax). The beach is very clean, with fine sand and a smooth entrance into the sea, perfect for small children. The tourists are represented mainly by families with children and seniors. There is no loud music, so the atmosphere is peaceful and chill. The architectural style is rather old (it was built in the '70s and refurbished more recently), and it looks ok. It is not fancy, nor luxurious, but the rooms are large, the beds were comfortable and clean. I believe the hotel offers a good experience for tourists willing to have quiet and decent holiday, close to the sea and everything at hand.

There is not something I disliked in particular. The hotel offers good value for the money we paid. The variety of the food served was ok, but not extraordinary. One could choose from several types of meat (chicken, pork, fish - grilled or in the oven), a few salads, side dishes or desserts, overall not very tasty. There were no proper drinks for smaller children (e.g. natural juice), and the alcoholic drinks were mainly local. The animation was not extraordinary either. I would not rate it as a 4 stars hotel.. it is more a 3 stars one.

Food was ok ,staff helpful, pool great ,beach very nice and clean.

Room was clean ,but not clean for a 4 star hotel... Facilities, like shower drainage wasn't working properly , every time you would take a shower water was on the bathroom floor, room safe wasn't working

Food was diverse and drinks as well. We had an appartment at an upper level, thus we had an impressive view on the sea. No noise, no cigarette smoke from balconies next to us. Comfy beds. Pools were clean everyday. Receptionists, housekeeping ladies and 'captain' from the bar were smilling, you had the feeling that you are welcome in the hotel. I think Kaliakra is one of the latest hotels in Albena that still have some traces of what has been once the Albena high quality management standards.

Not really possible to communicate with the staff from the restaurant who was taking care of dishes/tables. In the opened terasse on the resturant, althought there were children eating, some people were smoking, which I think is against any rule in the civilised world.

It was in a great location next to the beach. It was clean and modern.

No toilets upstairs in the food area. Only one lot of toilet facilities behind reception which didn’t smell very nice.

Confortable place, good food, nice staff.

Very expensive parking.

The sea and the sand are perfect. We had sunbeds and beach towels. The hotel is a little bit old, but functional and confortable. Three pools, three bars, lot of green places to stay. Food is gooood, can keep all diets or eat a lot. The all inclusive wine is bad, but you can buy some Bulgarian bottled wine and this is really good. Parking places, elevators, massages, a bit of enterteinment, a general relaxed vibe make Kalyakra e perfect place to go for few days and "do nothing".

Food and drink diversity, kind staff, very nice appartment and quite, very good mastress, coffee in the room, view on the balcony, and we got exactly the appartment we have required while booking. We come to rest, and at Kaliakra we have conditions for doing so.

1. There is definitely something to be done to separate smoking area on the restaurant terasse from non-smoking area. A separation with a clear sign will help people with children to avoid the smoke of the cigattte. In fact, many of us would like to take the brakfast outside, but there are a lot of smokers. The manager we call said that she can not prohibit smoking on the restaurant terrace outside- but at least they can separate smoking/non smoking area. 2. Managing sun-chairs and umbrella on the beach could be improved a lot. In the beggining of the season, at 9-10 o'clock the people were not there on the beach, and there was not possible to understand which are the rules to get a sun-chair.
