Stilish hotel, stilish room and facilities. The room is spacy, equiped with everything required for comfortable staying. The shower cabin is well isolated, so no flooded bathroom after taking a shower - amazing after several other hotels in Sofia! Delicious breakfast, many options in coffee-machine. Juice drinks might be better, however. Positive staff. Even cleaning lady speaks English, unlike it is in other hotels in Sofia. There is also sauna and a small gym. A bit noicy from outside, for that ear plugs are provided if someone has issues about normal sleeping. All the transport is at walkable distance: tram stop is near the entrance, metro 3 mins walk, railway station 5 mins walk

The only one is the area outside. I would not say that it is criminal or dangerous, not like that. But it is unpleasant. Anyway, just 2 metro stops from Serdica (city center)

The location is good - about a mile from the Centre. Underground car park - albeit a bit tight if you have a 4x4. Is an arrangement with neighbouring hotel to use their car park if full Staff very friendly and helpful Good breakfast in the adjoining restaurant. I chose not to eat there in the evening as menu a little basic if you want to enjoy local food. Luckily there is a really good restaurant 10 mins walk away that is clearly very popular with tourists & locals alike

There is no hiding from the noise of the trams early in the morning…nothing the hotel can do about this & likely same in other hotels in the city

We were staying in this hotel for 3 nights. And i need to say - that this one of the best hotels i ever stayed in. Nice rooms with comfy beds, facilities like sauna and gym is superior. Location is not in the center, but right infront of the main railway and bus stations, also the metro right in front, within 5-10 minutes you can reach the city center. And the best part - is staff. They are really welcoming, attentive and helpful, allowed us to stay longer, so we would not wait 10 hours on the street for our bus. Especially thank you for that !

The only think that they can add to the rooms, is a bathrobes. Besides that, everything is great ! :)

Our recent stay at B1 Boutique Hotel was truly exceptional. The food was exquisite, prepared by a chef of Michelin-star caliber. Our room was impeccably clean and spacious, providing ample comfort. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring both Sofia and its surrounding areas. Public transportation options, including metro, bus, and tram, were conveniently located within a 3-minute walk, while the central station was just a 5-minute stroll away. The staff, particularly the lady at reception and service, were incredibly helpful and friendly. We highly recommend B1 Boutique Hotel for a memorable stay in Sofia.

beds were not very soft

Very spacious room, clean, there is a tea table with tea and coffee supplies. Comfortable bed. There is space for suitcases and clothes. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Checked in very quickly, although we arrived late at night from the airport. After checking out, we quickly got to the bus station, the train station is nearby - the location of the hotel is very convenient

I think that in today's times, open water containers in the room are not acceptable (even though the bottles are branded and beautiful). The staff on the floors was quite noisy in the morning, but in general, the working day was already in full swing, so no complaints

A bit small but nice and quite hotel. Beautiful room with huge and comfortable bed, very clean bathroom and excellent lighting. I enjoyed the secret desk. The breakfast was ok, but not something special. The gym and the sauna were basic level, however were just what you need for a quick work out and 30-45 min relaxation. It was impressive that everything there were crystal clean and meticulously in order. Most of the personnel was polite. We specially thank the room service ladies and also the reception girl who speaks Greek. Overall, our stay was very positive.

Although the location of the hotel was very convenient (near the bus terminal and only 1 min walk from the metro station), it was very ugly and dirty area outside the hotel. Nothing else.

the hotel was quite clean and the room was quite spacious. The bed was comfortable and hotel staff were attentive when needed. There are good transport facilities near the hotel. The breakfast we found correct, though nothing special We stayed for 3 nights and had no problem with noise, be it from street or from other rooms.

I think there is nothing i would say "i do not like it". It is simply that we expected a bit more. From the photos and the name (boutique hotel) we maybe expected something a bit better. I would not classify it as a "boutique" hotel. In terms of cost and value, perhaps it was a bit expensive for Sofia´s average, though we went in August, to be fair. The location is practical because of nearby transport, but the location - while technically within the center - it was uninspiring.

The staff, in particular Katherina, were amazing - going above and beyond to help us with anything we needed and more, providing lots of recommendations and speaking on the phone to our taxi driver. Rooms were a good size and breakfast was lovely. Everyone asked us for honest feedback, genuinely want to do a great job for their customers

We were a little way out of town - but just use the local taxi service and ask reception to book for you to bring the cost down

To my pleasant surprise, I got a major upgrade from a small single room to a huge one (I’m guessing it was the apartment) with a separate bedroom and balcony! Bed was very comfy and the view from the balcony was amazing. Everything was super clean and tidy. Also, staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. It’s very close to the central train station and metro, so overall, the location is nearly perfect.

The only thing I can think of is that to get to the city center on foot, you have to walk through a slightly rougher part of town, but honestly that’s just nitpicking and isn’t that big of a deal at all.

The hotel offers a number of thoughtful amenities. I appreciated the various kits available in the bathroom, including beauty products, dental kits, and a shower cap. The room itself is spacious enough for one person, and I was pleased to find complimentary tea, coffee, water, and a minibar (though I didn’t use it). The hotel provides a list of services and their prices, which adds transparency. The WiFi signal is strong and reliable, and there's a convenient water boiler in the room. The bathroom is well-stocked with soap, shampoo, and body lotion. The air conditioning unit is modern and very quiet, which added to the comfort of my stay. Additionally, the room has a high ceiling, creating a pleasant sense of space. There’s also plenty of storage with a large wardrobe, bedside tables, and numerous electrical outlets. Lastly, the receptionist spoke excellent English and was very helpful, even assisting me in weighing my luggage.

There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. Firstly, while there were various kits provided, there was no shaving kit available, which would have been useful. The shower design is also inconvenient. It's what some might call a "Bulgarian-style" shower, meaning you have to either be extremely careful not to wet the toilet paper or remove everything from the bathroom to avoid making a mess. This reduces comfort significantly. The bed itself was not very comfortable, and the positioning of the TV was odd—it wasn't well-aligned with the bed, making it awkward to watch. Additionally, there were two mirrors positioned above and below the TV at strange heights, making them difficult to use without bending down or standing on a chair.
