Excellent location if travelling by train - only a couple of minutes walk away from the station. Easy 35 minute walk into the city centre (St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral)

Nothing, except that the below level walking route from the station to the hotel is best avoided during the hours of darkness - it doesn’t feel safe due to the number of people sleeping rough. We found the best way from the station to the hotel was to walk across from the main concourse and cross the road/tramway.

1st time visiting Sofia and my stay here has been made very comfortable and easy to know of places of visit. Transportation wise is super convenient too. Service from the Hotel Manager to the Front Office with Housekeeping is fantastic. In fact on my outward trip back home, I have booked again to stay here. TQ Mr Plemen. I requested a take out breakfast due to me leaving for Skopje at 7am (breakfast starts from 7 am) They have done so nicely and even pack me fresh fruit to go with it. Now, this is what I call Outstanding Customer Service! I definitely highly recommend visitors to book your stay here. I am sure, you will not regret.

Staff, in the main were very helpful. Location was excellent for buses, trams, metro etc. For sightseeing and Paradise Mall we used the Metro.

Small things let the hotel down. For example, our fridge didn't work . We were given various excuses until the next day when someone came and fixed it. Breakfast was ok but no variation. We had other issues but I won't go into those. Didn't like the location at night. Recommend using taxis at night.

We had a nice welcome to the hotel and excellent inputs from the person at the reception. The excellent Hadjidraganov's Houses Restaurant is just 700m away. The bus stand is just around 5 min away and was very convenient for us as we used the bus from the airport and took the buses to Plovdiv and Skopje from here. All the attractions were within a 30 min walking distance. We got to see the most wonderful sunrise from our room which was on the 5th floor facing the bus stand.

It is not in the centre of town and we had to walk a bit, but we were ok as the location near the bus station made it convenient for us travel to Plovdiv and Skopje.

Easy to reach location (also from the airport) and close to all kinds of public transport for travelling into the city, which works very efficiently. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially at the reception - both in arranging a taxi as in help with my stay (I had made a mistake with my dates). Room was spacious and clean (good water pressure), and the bed was made daily. Breakfast had plenty of choice for a good and healthy start of the day (you're not spoilt for choice, but it's a good selection still). AC was available in the room, and with windows closed it was very quiet despite it being located at the front side of the building (opposite a tram stop).

There was a small leak in the bathroom that was collecting water (between shower and toilet), but overall a very nice stay.

The hotel was recently renovated and across the street from the central railway station. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The WiFi was fast and easy to connect with. The shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The included breakfast was delicious with a large selection of food.

The only thing that I didn't like is that the old Central Rail Station that you had to pass through, had homeless people, beggars, and drug users lurking around. Be careful if you are going through this area in the dark.

Very convenient location, easy to park. A kettle AND a fridge, which I didn't expect but was grateful for. Good shower, comfortable bed with split duvets. Staff left us a bagged breakfast of sandwiches and fruit, as we were leaving early next morning.

Minor inconveniences, like no dropped kerb into the car park (got to be careful in a hire car!) ditto a step into the building. No ramps, if you had a wheelchair. Be aware if you are going to the train station with luggage (just over the busy road) there are no working elevators anywhere I could see, just lots of stairs. The area outside Central station needs renovating.

Clean and comfortable and quite twin room with facilities for charging both phones with USB ports - essential for our travel. It was perfect location for The Bus station or Railway. Hot showers and a very good breakfast in the morning. On arrival, we checked in later than planned, because of travel delays, but not a problem. There were a few snacks and drinks in the foyer we were able to buy for a light supper in our room that evening.

Some scrappy holes around the window but more of a cosmetic problem. Just looked a little tired, but didn't effect a very comfortable stay for two weary customers.

This hotel is close to the train and bus stations. The breakfast is simple but nice. In my opinion it's more than enough for starting the day. You have 10 -15 minutes enjoying walking to the very popular restaurant "Happy". You can see the old beautiful buildings there also.

It's not so comfortable with heavy luggage to cross the street towards the stations as there's no crossing, only is underground one with stairs and no elevators. There's only one restaurant in the hotel aside. Across the street, the closest station is the train station and not the bus station, as I thought.

I love this small hotel. I really do and I did enjoy every single stay here. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, rooms are very spatious and well equipped, location is perfect for my needs and breakfasts are good with food replenished frequently, as always. Unfortunately, arriving alone (as always), this time...

...I ordered a largest room (for up to 3 persons) only to find that b/c of 3rd bed (sofa) being folded out I was not able to access the window safely. For one night stay this was OK, so just a word of caution for others: do NOT order rooms for up to 3 persons when only 1-2 persons are going to arrive. Otherwise everything was perfect, as usually.
