I like this small hotel, I really do. The front desk staff is always welcoming and friendly. The location is very convenient: 1 minute to trams, 5 minutes to subway and trains, 15-20 minutes walk to the city centre, the supermarket nearby etc. The room was spacious and clean (although the bathroom needs a check, but it is a detail). AC in room is huge plus as well as the spacious laptop safe. Breakfast is reasonably rich, replenished frequently and everyone should be able to find appropriate meal per her/his likes. All in all - a very nice hotel for reasonable price. Thanks to the staff!

The bathroom and sink outlets were not draining properly.

We chose it because it was conveniently located next to the train station. Maybe some would feel it is a bit far to walk to the city centre, but it is only two metro stops, and both the metro and trams are very close to the hotel. Nice room, including size. Good service that I could have a snackpack when having to leave early before breakfast time on the day of departure (catching a train at 7).

The backyard that could be seen from the room was not the best view, but not a problem. The shower door had a small gap at the bottom, so some water leaked out. I did not like the orange juice for breakfast – very sweet (I guess it had added sugar), but this might be the Bulgarian way. But none of these were really problems, this is only to mention possible improvements. We enjoyed the stay and might have choosed the hotel again, especially because of the location.

The location is right next door to the central train station and Metro, there were also buses and trams situated outside the hotel. We used the metro, it was quick and cheap to get to the centre. The hotel staff, from the reception to the kitchen were all extremely helpful, polite and professional. Our room faced the back of the hotel so we did not experience any road noise. The air conditioning was very much needed as it was high temperature during our visit. The room had adequate storage space and a safe , kettle for tea/coffee. There was a fridge which was great. Breakfast facilities were spotless , we always got a table with no difficulty and the breakfast selection was very good, plenty of fresh fruit, yogurts, dried fruit and nuts. Pastries and croissants. Juices and a selection of hot drinks from a machine. Hot item buffet and cold hams and cheeses with cucumber and tomatoes. Something for everyone. Our return flight was very early in the morning, we had informed reception of this so they knew to expect our taxi, as we were leaving before breakfast , on our departure we were pleasantly surprised when they gave to us a breakfast bag each. Extremely nice gesture and we were grateful.

Our room was serviced daily but staff did not replace our cups and glasses for clean ones or replenish the sachets. We also had to go and ask for toilet roll. This was the only thing , but all the staff were very polite and helpful when we did keep visiting reception to ask for things

All in all, very good hotel stay - convenient location across the main street from the bus station and also right opposite the trams. Room was spacious, comfortable and airy. I was grateful to get my room available at 7.30 AM (after my overnight bus arrived from Bucharest) instead of the standard check in time of 2 PM. I did have to pay an extra 20 Euros for it however which seems a little unnecessary and steep since the room was clean and available but I guess it was a very early check in? IDK but I was was ultimately very grateful for the sleep I got that morning - so its all good..

Excellent location if travelling by train - only a couple of minutes walk away from the station. Easy 35 minute walk into the city centre (St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral)

Nothing, except that the below level walking route from the station to the hotel is best avoided during the hours of darkness - it doesn’t feel safe due to the number of people sleeping rough. We found the best way from the station to the hotel was to walk across from the main concourse and cross the road/tramway.

1st time visiting Sofia and my stay here has been made very comfortable and easy to know of places of visit. Transportation wise is super convenient too. Service from the Hotel Manager to the Front Office with Housekeeping is fantastic. In fact on my outward trip back home, I have booked again to stay here. TQ Mr Plemen. I requested a take out breakfast due to me leaving for Skopje at 7am (breakfast starts from 7 am) They have done so nicely and even pack me fresh fruit to go with it. Now, this is what I call Outstanding Customer Service! I definitely highly recommend visitors to book your stay here. I am sure, you will not regret.

We had a nice welcome to the hotel and excellent inputs from the person at the reception. The excellent Hadjidraganov's Houses Restaurant is just 700m away. The bus stand is just around 5 min away and was very convenient for us as we used the bus from the airport and took the buses to Plovdiv and Skopje from here. All the attractions were within a 30 min walking distance. We got to see the most wonderful sunrise from our room which was on the 5th floor facing the bus stand.

It is not in the centre of town and we had to walk a bit, but we were ok as the location near the bus station made it convenient for us travel to Plovdiv and Skopje.

Staff, in the main were very helpful. Location was excellent for buses, trams, metro etc. For sightseeing and Paradise Mall we used the Metro.

Small things let the hotel down. For example, our fridge didn't work . We were given various excuses until the next day when someone came and fixed it. Breakfast was ok but no variation. We had other issues but I won't go into those. Didn't like the location at night. Recommend using taxis at night.

Easy to reach location (also from the airport) and close to all kinds of public transport for travelling into the city, which works very efficiently. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially at the reception - both in arranging a taxi as in help with my stay (I had made a mistake with my dates). Room was spacious and clean (good water pressure), and the bed was made daily. Breakfast had plenty of choice for a good and healthy start of the day (you're not spoilt for choice, but it's a good selection still). AC was available in the room, and with windows closed it was very quiet despite it being located at the front side of the building (opposite a tram stop).

There was a small leak in the bathroom that was collecting water (between shower and toilet), but overall a very nice stay.

The hotel was recently renovated and across the street from the central railway station. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The WiFi was fast and easy to connect with. The shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The included breakfast was delicious with a large selection of food.

The only thing that I didn't like is that the old Central Rail Station that you had to pass through, had homeless people, beggars, and drug users lurking around. Be careful if you are going through this area in the dark.
