The breakfast was lovely and lots of choice with hot food eggs, potatoes, sausage, toaster, cold meats and cheese, cereal, milk, yogurt, pancakes and many more things. The location was perfect. Bed very comfortable. Shower wonderful. Nearest metro is dragons bridge. Although English is rare everything is in Bulgarian. Uber is banned in Bulgaria but we found an app called taxi me and used this several times it's was very cheap. A taxi from vitosha boulevard to the hotel was 5-6 lev and from the hotel to the airport was 21 lev. Tram stopped right outside too. Cost1.60.you can pay with cash but you have to knock on the door to get the drivers attention and pay. You then have to validate your ticket. The food was lovely we found a great restaurant one night with live music, pizza, chips and cheese, two large vodka and cokes and chocolate cake all for 40 Lev each. Very good. We went to the museum of illusions and it was such fun and good photo opportunities. 19 Lev entrance and they have lockers where you can leave your coats and bags. The airport to the centre is very easy in terms of finding the train. It's just 1.60 Lev but be warned nothing is in English. Luckily someone showed us on the tube map serdika which is the centre and not far from vitosha boulevard. We got off there had a walk around at night it was lovely with fairy lights on we then got a taxi to the hotel for 6 lev. Very reasonable.

Difficult to regulate the temperature in the room so we found it hard to sleep as the room was too hot. The room we booked included free spa access. However there is no spa it's just a sauna and you have to tell reception and hour before you use it. Sofia itself was lovely. However most of the people did not want to engage and were unfriendly. Even if you smiled at someone they didn't smile back. Tourists were very minimal and we went to one restaurant and as soon as the man heard us speak English he said there was a problem and they were closed. I personally wouldn't visit Bulgaria again as apart from at the hotel where the staff were lovely every other person we came into contact with was rude. I appreciate it may be the difference between our cultures but I didn't like it.

The location is great, you can easily get everywhere using the public transport, a bus and tram stop right in front of the hotel, and a metro station 8 minutes away. The room was very nice, comfortable bed,2 pillows per person (2 were very big pillows which I liked) the towels get changed everyday. The breakfast was very good, everything you could want and the coffee was okish. The room was very warm (a bit too much for us, we felt the need to open the window a lot. We couldn’t figure out how to turn the heating off in the room and the thermostat in the bathroom was busted so it went on non stop). And since we spent the New Year’s Eve there we got complementary Prosecco, a very nice touch in our opinion. Also the underground parking is a very good idea since you can’t really find good parking spaces around (the cost is 20 leva per day) and you don’t have any worries (the elevator is not very big so check with them beforehand to make sure your car will fit).

The only thing we felt was missing were slippers.I was expecting to find them in a 4 stars hotel. So you better have some disposable slippers with you if you need them.

Excellent beds, one of the best I've experienced in a hotel. Very good breakfast with a lot of choices. Clean and luxury rooms. I've stayed in many different hotels in Sofia the past years, this one is absolutely value for money!

Location. At daytime walking between the metro stop and hotel didn't feel safe, so we didn't try this at night. BUT - trams are stopping right in front of the hotel, or even better, use a taxi. We used the TaxiMe app, similar like uber, worked perfect and extremely cheap (Airport <> hotel +/- 11 euro). Location is certainly not a showstopper for us, if we come back again we will stay here again!

I booked the hotel for my wife's birthday. Believe me when I say I'm a very demanding customer when it comes to making my wife happy and surprised, so I did ask a lot from the Abrazo team, they went above and beyond what I ask for, any issues as little it was, was fixed professionally and rapidly, the breakfast buffet offers a very good selection the restaurant was very clean, and the coffee excellent, the reception staff was fantastic always a smile and very helpful when you need to go somewhere or needed informations. The room we had was a studio with a jacuzzi and balcony, very specious, comfortable bed, very clean, a lot of complementary toiletries and a very well priced mini bar. I also take the time to say thank you to the chambers maid for the folding towels on my wife's birthday. From the management to the staff, every one goes above and beyond to make your stay really exceptional, everyone cares about your wellness during your stay, professional and committed that the way I qualified the Abrazo team. The Abrazo is not a massive 4 Stars it's more intimate, more like a boutique hotel, ok it's not central 20 minutes to town center, but there is a fantastic public transport system and very cheap. If I ever go back to Sofia I know where to stay. Once again again thanks to all at the Abrazo for making our stay fantastic.

Location - it was in a great location, walkable to everything and to the center of town. If you don't want to walk, there's literally a bus stop right in front of the hotel and it's 10-15 minutes to the city center Parking - can't stress how great it was to have parking. Granted it's only 3 parking spots below the hotel, but for around $12/night, definitely not bad with it being underground, temperature controlled, and right in the building Breakfast - for breakfast that was included for us, the food was great. I know others have reviewed that the food was cold, but we didn't have an issue with that. They have a wide selection that included scrambled and fried eggs, bacon/country ham, hash browns, sausages, and assortment of bread and pastries Lunch/dinner - they don't have anything other than breakfast, but we found a Lebanese place that was 4 mins walk away and it was incredible Room - we got a room with a patio and bathtub right in the room. It was convenient and we took advantage of the tub being right in the room. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean

The fridge didn't work, but that wasn't a big deal since we didn't really need it. It would have been nice to put sodas and waters in there, but it was fine The sauna didn't seem to be working, that would have been nice to take advantage of

Good location and valuable service, the hotel room looks a bit different from pictures but it is still comfortable, small table is mostly occupied by watch kettle, mugs and minibars, it is difficult for you if you need to work a bit in the room but you can bring laptop to the lobby bar,there are enough tables. Breakfast must be mentioned, which is amazing and tasty. Great and friendly front desk, however the cleanliness of bedding has space for improvement.

Bedding is a bit old.Small table in the room, no place to use laptop, internet is a bit poor on 4th floor.

Because we're talking about a 4-star hotel. -problems with water leakage, in the case of shower cabins the bathroom can flood very easily. In the case of the bathtub, the shower head has problems with the gasket. -there is no refrigerator in the room, the products that make up the mini-bar are placed like in a closet. -there is no espresso machine, not even one with the cheapest capsules, in the room. If you want coffee, you have a Nescafe sachet that you can put in hot water (at least there is a kettle in the room). -the hairdryer should be cleaned of lint

Great staff (all of them amazing service, especially Alek and his colleagues in the reception), clean room, excellent bed, very good breakfast, price was also good

I took 3 rooms, room 63 has motor noise coming and going all the time, I think it is something from the water motor on the roof (since it is the last floor), from what I heard, I am not the first one complaining about it.. so avoid room 63 until they will fix it - I was not able to sleep because of it and hotel was fully booked. other 2 rooms were very good. Location is less nice late at night (the upper area is not so nice) but still ok

I had an excellent stay, Staff where very friendly to me, Aleksandar is such a friendly & great person he has excellent customer service and communication skills he made my stay extra special, it was great to stay again and to experience the excellence of this new hotel, it was millions time better then my previous stay here, I will book again when I’m back in Sofia next year

Although I’m rating a 10 there was a problem with the Air conditioning, it only blew out cold air despite showing “Heat on” also I’d recommend having more then 2 hair dryers in the hotel, it’s not ideal only having 2 among 30 rooms

The hotel is excellent, and the location is great—very close to the center. Everything is new, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent; there is a choice for everyone. The room is luxurious, and the beds are very comfortable. The staff at the reception is very kind and friendly, always with a smile. We met Andrej the most at the reception, and he was very kind and always helpful with parking and all other advice. I would come to the same hotel again.
