I requested a quiet room in advance but when I arrived I was put in a room at the front with noisy trams outside. However, the next day the reception staff were very helpful and found me a room at the back. It had no view but it was much quieter. Also the reception staff helped me with another issue. The breakfast was good....plenty of choice and good coffee.

Small bar was never open in the small lobby. Would have been great as there was no where in immediate area for me and my friends to meet and have a drink.

Centrally located, nice, good variety breakfast, very helpful front desk staff. I contacted by phone, a couple of times, the front desk before to take the decision to reserve the room on Booking.com. I always had a good, reasonable and well promising answer. On my arrival, with my wife, we have been meet and served by the protocol. Special thanks to the front desk officer Nicola Yordanov and also to his colleagues who make everything necessary to make our stay of 5 days in this hotel, pleasant and comfortable - arranging a room with a better view and less street noise, preparing a box with breakfast and calling the taxi for the airport at 3 am, in the morning, etc.

The hotel is centrally located, super close to Serdika metro station. Easy access and staff took our car to the car park and the. Brought it back when we checked out (cost was $10 euro per day). Bedroom was spacious and bed/pillows comfortable. Very spacious bathroom too, with clean towels provided. Breakfast was buffet with lots of variety. We enjoyed the delicious fresh vegetables, so tasty in Bulgaria! Staff were super friendly and welcoming, attentive and friendly. Our room was facing towards an inner courtyard, so noise was not a problem, very quiet for a good sleep. Would recommend for your stay in Sofia 🙂

Bit of smoke smell in the room, but nothing terrible.

The service at check-in was very quick and good. I was grateful to be able to check-in slightly earlier than the check-in time after a bus journey. The room was a really good size. The decor is dated but the bathroom facilities such as the shower, tap etc are all modern and very good. The room also had a kettle and free tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good and there were lots of options such as hit food, sweet things, fruit, cereals and cheeses and meats. They also had a coffee machine which was also really good. I was able to keep my luggage there after I checked out of my room to explore the city more. The hotel is near the Serfica Metro station and it was so easy to get on Line 4 all the way to the airport in just 35 minutes. The location is great for exploring the city and getting to the airport.

The decor is dated but for me it wasn't too much of an issue. It was still clean and comfortable. The main issue I had was the room next to me. There were three men in the room next to me and they were so loud until 3:30am. I could hear them through the wall talking so loud and they started playing heavy metal music loudly at 10pm. They then went out, and I woke up to their loud talking and loud rock music again at 3am. I called the reception desk and they called their room straight away to ask them to stop. Luckily they did after 10 minutes or so. This disturbed my sleep a lot. I'm glad the hotel staff took action straight away, but I was not happy about being next to this group at all. If my stay was for more than one night I would have asked to move room.

The staff at this hotel were fantastic, they went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble for them. Even the reception guy this morning made sure the taxi driver knew which terminal we were at the airport, he even helped with the luggage. When I asked for directions to surrounding areas this was provided with no trouble. The room was lovely and sizeable with everything you need. The hotel does look a little dated but it adds to the character of the hotel. There is no hotel bar, but the staff will get you one if you would like to sit in the reception area. Breakfast was plentiful, there was continental and some hot offerings. All in all the hotel is great but it is the staff that make it.

Nothing

The room was good, and plenty spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the hotel's parking (which is somewhere nearby) and the valet was always there on call and available to both park the car and retrieve it for us. The breakfast was perfect - everything you need.

The only small issue was the wifi connection in my room; my room was at the end of a hallway so the wifi wasn't very good, but I could move closer to the door and connect, so it was manageable. Otherwise, everything was good.

The location is really good for the city centre. A few minutes walk from the metro station Serdica. Serdica is only 2 stops from the main train station. The staff are great, polite and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Tea coffee making facilities. Simple rooms. Breakfast is good and getting to the popular restaurants and bars and historical sites, in the city centre are only a short walk away. There are bars, cafes and restaurants near the hotel as well as a market. Plenty of shops nearby. We have used this hotel 4 times. Great for an overnight when flying out of Sofia. Metro to airport so easy. Not supplied photos this time. Have taken many in our other stays

No milk for coffee tea making facilities. If you go to reception they will provide a small jug. So no real problem.

Positive experience. Clean, comfortable and quiet room (I've had a room facing the inner side). Very kind personnel :) I'd be happy to return. Compared to other Best Western Hotels I've been to the breakfast has less choices but is still good and enjoyable.

A minor issue, I didn't like very much the heating system in the room (which seems to be centralised since the panel on the wall was set to OFF) and during the night the temperature - to me - was too high while in the very early morning it was colder. Still a positive experience in the whole.

Good choice of food for breakfast. Cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, filled potatoes, and a couple of other things I didn't try. Cereal and toast - and large choice of pastries / fruits / meats. And all the usual drinks. Bed was incredibly comfy - could have stayed in it all day. Room very clean. Shower worked well and complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee were a bonus. TV easy to use and good aircon. Staff helpful - including carrying my bags to my room. Location was very good. A few minutes walk to multiple restaurants and historical monuments.

Shame the restaurant was only open for breakfast but not a big issue as there were plenty of other places to eat that were within easy walking distance.
