Cleaning is only done every 4 days. The location is spectacular. The weather was very pleasant and we were able to take several walks through the forest. The Bulgaro smokes a lot and is uncomfortable for non-smokers.

Good morning)) I completely forgot to write a review, sorry) We were visiting this wonderful place) We were greeted, the location is excellent, quiet, forest around, amazing. The staff is polite, thanks, bro....and what a dinner in the restaurant - it's a masterpiece!! It's a pity that when we arrived it was raining and we couldn't walk in the forest, but there will be a reason to come back here!! Excellent, all recommendations for this place, for the staff!!! We enjoyed the location of the hotel, in the forest, with the quiet and beautiful surroundings, the cool air away from the city's heat, the view from the rooms, the terrace of the restaurant, the food and drinks at dinner. The suite was big enough, the beds were comfortable.

We found the location with some difficulties, the building itself and the furniture could use an update. The building has no elevator. The restaurant had the menu only in Bulgarian and at breakfast, from four options, they only had available one and that one was shabby and overpriced.

Location Value for money x 2 people with breakfast under £50 for the night. Really comfy massive bed Big eatting areas (allows for privacy) Staff all need a pay rise, as they all did well Potential of this hotel is insane as has an esculsive vantage point above the city going up a mountain.

Private road to the 'old castle' is full of dangerous pot holes for about half a mile up a bending hill. No lifts! Bedrooms are needing refurbishment esp bathrooms, cracked or missing tiles, kindly staff offered 2 rooms 14 on second floor or 15 on top floor both were in their day high class suites even 14 with a log burner, the views are obstructed by massive forest trees, however for seclusion this is a good thing.

The location they provided is not located by google map properly. You can type "St. George" manually, it will show up then. Most importantly, if you travel at night you must need to take taxi. Otherwise, in a cold winter walking through the mountain by google map is not a good idea at all! Your travel then turn into a horror! Anw, I suggest the owner to modify the location which is directly recognised by google map.

We were able to snowboard on their front yard. Restaurant was lovely, great food and cosy. *also has a friendly large cat (appropriately Garfield) Beautiful views of hills and trees

No elevator (usually not a problem, but heavy lifting with snowboards) Road up was icy and snowy... in winter time ensure you have appropriate vehicle. Bathroom floor would get very wet from the shower.

I met Martin at airport, he was so kind to make transfer. From first meeting, I felt hospitality and welcome from owners side. Hotel is located in mountains with fresh air and natural fragrances of trees and grass. Place is quiet and peaceful. I believe is best for recharge and recover.

Only fact that I didn't have more time to stay. And probably summer time it's more attractive to visit lakes around.

We were on a. business trip, but we eicede for the hotel outside of the city. The mountain Vitosha is high and cold mountain, and this hotel is in the hearth of Vitosha. The road is little bit tight, but that is bormal for this location The hotel and the staff is greate! It looks like a family small hotel, but with very nice restoraunt , and greate food! I recomendet to try some of the wines. The rooms are clean and hot. And the place outside is perfect for clear your mind ! We will come again , but next time on vocations. Perfect for mountain tourisam!

It was family run and it felt they knew their staff well which ment you felt you could leave your passport and even purse in your room when you were out. It is a simple place but it was safe for a single girl. I would definitely go again. Also it is amongst nature which is lovely to walk in nature.

There was nothing it was a warm simple hotel.

More fawlty towers than classic hotel, but it reminds me of an old fashion ski lodge, warm rooms and a beautiful restaurant/bar area overlooking the forest. It is worn and rundown, but somehow in the forest it makes it feel like home. Great walking trails with several mountain lakes about 5-10 minutes walk away
