Everything was excellent, making my first visit to Sofia memorable. All the needed facilities, 24-hour reception, coffee-tea, breakfast, cleanliness, it is a new hotel, everything is brand new, and very close to the city centre. The most unexpected part, which I have yet not met in any other hotel anywhere in Europe that I have travelled before (and I have travelled a lot for work) is the exceptional hospitality and friendliness of all the people in the reception, and especially Lucio. I hope that every hotel had a Lucio to manage it/at its reception, he is an exceptional person ready to help and assist with everything needed, with the most friedly and authentic disposition, making as feel that we were at home. Looking forward to go back for all the features of the hotel and especially for Lucio's hospitality.

Amazing staff. Room was clean, brand new, and warm (it was -10*C outside). Very close to the city center (15 minutes by walk to the Alexander Nevski square and 15 minutes by walk to the Serdica métropolitain center station). Staying in this hotel is the best choice you can do. We did the mistake to stay in another hotel before (dirty and with very bad bed), Hotel Leda saved our holidays !!

- Extremely polite and welcoming receptionist. - Very clean hotel and everything is new and well arranged. - Close to airport. Taxi ride is around 7€. - Great location overall. We didn't use public transportation or taxi while sightseeing. You can see everything you need in 10-15 min walk radius. - Shop is 50m away and it works 24/7. - Many restaurants with cuisines from various parts of the world are close by. - Everything you need or are interested in, you can ask at the reception. They are eager to help. - All in all perfect. 10 out of 10. Would recommend to a friend.

Due to a flight delay I had to find a place to stay the night in Sofia on the day of my arrival. My options were extremely limited with 95%+ properties already booked. Hotel Leda didn't disappoint. I'd like to put an emphasis on how friendly and welcoming receptionists were both during the check-in and the check-out. I didn't ask their names, but their hospitality definitely played a big role in making my stay a pleasant one. Otherwise, the room was pretty simple, but clean and well-maintained. I didn't experience any issues. The location is extremely convenient both for transit and exploring the city center.

The Hotel is brand new, everything from when you enter and to your bedroom is new and luxurious. I stayed in Deluxe room which has plenty of extra space, couches and a beutiful balcony. The room had a TV, a good quality bed, fridge and all basic toiletries in the toilet. The hotel staff is very nice, I would add an extra point in hotel's favour for there very hospital staff. I would stay in this hotel when i am revisiting Sofia another day.

For my experience, I d not have anything to mention which I didn't like about the hotel.

Amazing location, only 10 minutes walk to the center (Serdica station) very quiet whether it be day or night. rather simple mattress, but pretty comfortable, hot water works fine, electronic convenient key system, somebody's at the desk 24h/24 and it was very convenient for my late arrival; Much cleaner than most hotels I've tried in Europe of a similar standard (in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia or Poland, for example). Best Cafés (I've tried three per day during my week there) : Dabov - number one in Sofia, undeniable, masterclass. Coffee Lab if you're near Vitosha and too lazy to walk to Dabov; take Guatemala if it's about the coffee taste, note that it's not that "strong", but tastes great. If you want a stronger one take Brasil. Best restaurants I tried: Under the Linden Tree - fair prices, excellent quality, very traditional, has that old historical feel, a little far from the center, not a walking distance, quickly reachable with the metro or a cab. Happy - slightly overpriced, good quality, international cuisine (sushi, burgers, etc), very popular, expect some queue unless you go earlier than the usual dinner time (like 7:00) Hajidraganov's cellars - a bit overpriced, good quality, traditional, and you get to listen to some accordion music live Briciole - Italian, fair prices, amazing value (quality/price/size ratio), their pistachio icecream is one of the best I've ever had / waiters looked really exhausted, but it could have to do with their personal lives, didn't affect the service. Rakia Raketa - very good quality, traditional (think mother & grandma's kind of family recipes) fair prices, nice garden view, waiters looked like they don't really care about anything, but that's common in Sofia. They do have an English menu, in case they troll you and give you a full Bulgarian one :)

The hotel is not right on the street (it's not a "building" that is at number 28). It is at the end of a small alley that is on the left side of the white building at 28, Kiril & Metod street, which was rather hard to spot in the dark at 1 AM when you don't know the location yet. I write it in the "unhappy" section to make it easier to spot, as it's useful information.

The hotel is absolute value for money. 15 mins walking distance from the city centre or a 6-7 Lev taxi ride. Very clean rooms, clean hotel with everything required for a comfortable start. Daily towel changes, daily room cleaning, hot water, and toiletries as well. Daily morning, complimentary coffee and bakery products were a pleasant surprise. The staff was very nice and helpful as well.

The shower area was a bit odd with a partial cubicle or shower screen. It made the entire bathroom wet. It was not a major inconvenience, but it would be better if there was a full curtain or cubicle.

I had a pleasant experience. The staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The location of the hotel was also convenient and close to the places I wanted to visit (most of the places are within walking distance). We arrived late at night and with the tourist info closed on Sundays, we got all the info from the receptionist. Taxi from the airport was around 10 € for a night ride. They don't serve traditional breakfast but they offer free snack in the morning and free coffee all day.

The view from the room. It overlooked some old run down house and construction site (but it was not noisy!). The shower is doorless, it's just next to the toilet bowl and the water floods the entire tile floor but it was not such a big deal in the end :)
